NO, I CANNOT receive your message because it is not the truth

Jesus is not of this earth

AS JOHN BAPTIST SAYS JESUS IS FROM ABOVE

    FROM HEAVEN

    JOHN 3:31
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

HE WAS WITH THE FATHER AND SHARED HIS GLORY (JOHN 17)

AND IT WAS HE WHO CHOSEN TO COME TO THIS EARTH TO DIE FOR OUR SINS.>>>>>
    >>>>>HEBREWS 10<<<<<<<
    This is why Christ, coming into the world, said: You did not want sacrifice or offering, But you formed me a body;

10: 6 You have not accepted burnt offerings or sacrifices for sin.

10: 7 So I said, Behold, I COME (In the scroll of the book it is about me) To do, O God, your will.

HIS DIVINITY WAS JOINED TO OUR HUMANITY DURING HIS INCARNATION.
    IN PHILIPIANS PAUL SAYS:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
[8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

“HE WAS IN THE FORM OF GOD” >>>>> AND HE TAKE THE FORM OF HUMAN SERVANT <<<<

THERE WAS A GREAT CHANGE FOR HIM >>>

IT WAS THE REFLECTION OF THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER, THE FINGERPRINT OF HIS PERSON
AND LIVING IN THE FORM OF GOD, HE HAS ABANDONED HIS DIVINE GLORY WHILE REMAINING GOD AND HAS COVERED OUR HUMAN NATURE AND HE LIVE AS A SIMPLE MAN IN COMMUNION WITH HIS FATHER. (GOD) THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

    Hi Berean,

I like to look at the entire chapter,

John 8:1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

He taught as he could do nothing of himself but because God was teaching him. The Spirit was upon him where he left the river Jordan being filled with the Spirit being sent out TO PREACH.

3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them,He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her,Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

As prophesied the son of Jesse would have God’s Spirit upon him, the Spirit of Wisdom, Knowledge, Council and Might, Knowledge and Fear of the LORD and he would be sent to judge not by his own eyes and ears but through righteousness of which he was called unto having God direct all his ways. God would hold his hand and keep him for to be a LIGHT, even unto the Gentiles. Upon the Spirit resting upon him he would be sent out into the world to deliver captives out of darkness. (Isaiah 11, 42, 45,61)

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I AM the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. 14 Jesus answered and said unto them,Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. 15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. 16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. 17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. 19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered,Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. 21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. 22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. 23 And he said unto them,Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. 25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. 26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.

Recall John 3, Jesus speaks God’s word because God gave him the Spirit not by measure.

Recall Luke 4 Jesus quoting Isaiah 61, the Spirit is upon him, an anointing, SENT by God out into the world TO PREACH. When Jesus says God sent “me”, “me” being Jesus of Nazareth that had the Spirit come to rest upon him.

27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. 28 Then said Jesus unto them,When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I AM he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

    Acts 10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Jesus says “I AM HE”, he being the very man spoken in the above passage. A man who God anointed and then SENT out into the world doing good for God was with him, and then this Son of Man was lifted up on the cross and then was raised from the dead in glory, in power, incorruptible.

Keep in mind as you continue to read the chapter who it is that was SENT to PREACH God’s word, the man God anointed, Jesus of Nazareth.

30 As he spake these words, many believed on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou,Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them,Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. 37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

Those Jews did not understand anything that Jesus was saying in this entire chapter. Jesus would say something and they would reply back in error for his word had no place in them.

38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them,If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them,If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

“I” is the Son of Man, the man anointed by God having the fullness of God’s Spirit in him, where God has SENT him being with him in all things directing all his ways.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. 48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? 49 Jesus answered,I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. 50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. 51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. 52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. 53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? 54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

God promised Abraham that of his seed all nations would be blessed, Abraham was given prophecy, he saw his seed fulfilling all of God’s will where by God through Abraham’s son would all nations be blessed.

57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

YET again the Jews had NO CLUE what Jesus was talking about. Jesus didn’t say he saw Abraham, he said Abraham saw him in his day, Abraham saw Jesus his seed in the future.

58 Jesus said unto them,Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

was – Ginomai – to become, to be made, finished

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I AM the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Jesus is not declaring that he existed before Abraham, he is declaring that HE IS the RESURRECTION.

Prior in the chapter Jesus said, “I AM the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” and “When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I AM he“, both of these equate to Jesus bringing forth redemption and LIFE.

“I AM” does not equate to I AM a pre-existing spirit son.

    Two points can be made.

Before Abraham existed God promised eternal life, He promised a resurrection, which is who Jesus is, as he says “I AM the resurrection and the life”.

    Second point,

Jesus just got done talking about how Abraham rejoiced to see Jesus’s day. Because of Abraham’s own seed Abraham rejoiced because it meant his resurrection as well as the resurrection of others from all nations. APPLY this to Jesus’s words thereafter and know that Jesus says I AM the resurrection.

Matthew 22: 31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Abraham is counted as the living through Jesus by the resurrection. Abraham is to be raised from the dead and become (Genomai) eternal which is God’s finished (Genomai) work in man, through Jesus Abraham BECOMES (Genomai) resurrected, and Before Abraham Jesus is resurrected.

    Hi Berean,

This is actually very simple and clear if you apply God’s word with God’s word, unfortunately you are not, you are apply a doctrine and then misinterpreting scripture to fit that doctrine.

Jesus directly tells you that he is the bread from heaven and that BREAD is his FLESH.

Biblical FACT, Isaiah 11, 42, and 61 is God’s WORD made true in the flesh of Jesus, where the Spirit came down like a dove and the man of flesh Jesus is said to have left the river Jordan having been FILLED with the Spirit. Jesus quotes Isaiah 61 in Luke 4 where Jesus is declaring God’s WORD has been fulfilled in him.

This anointed FLESH (the bread from heaven) is then SENT, he is coming directly from heaven meaning FROM GOD. He came forth from heaven, FROM GOD.

Is the kingdom of heaven different than the kingdom of God? NO! Of heaven and of God are interchangeable as they mean the same thing. When Jesus says that he came from heaven he is saying that he comes directly from God, God sent him, Jesus of Nazareth, where he began to do the works of God beginning in Galilee.

What exactly of Jesus came down from heaven Berean? Jesus said he could DO NOTHING of his OWN SELF, so anything pertaining to Jesus pre-existing and coming down to earth is POINTLESS, it didn’t give him any advantage, it didn’t provide us with anything neither. Jesus did all things because God begat him with His Spirit in full measure at the river Jordan and God sent him out directing him in all things. CAN YOU EXPLAIN this problem you have?

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Jesus was SENT by the will of God, he went forth among the people coming directly from commands from heaven.

John 17: 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

Jesus of Nazareth CAME having been SENT FROM GOD. As said, he was begotten of the Spirit not by measure and God sent him out into the world TO PREACH, TO PROPHECY, TO HEAL…

The Holy Spirit after the Son of Man went to sit at God’s right hand came down and an anointed many with a measure of the Spirit, some were made prophets, some healers, some teachers, etc.., all of them working together to continue the work Jesus did of bringing people to faith of the One True God and the one man who is our mediator to God, Jesus Christ. Together these made up the BODY of Christ, where each having a gift of the Holy Spirit equated the fullness of the gifts that Jesus had received. As Jesus was SENT these were SENT, as Jesus was not of this world, they were not of this world.

    Did you notice this,

    Acts 10:37-40 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

    How about this,

Acts 13:23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: 24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

John 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

His glory is in his anointing, his receiving of God’s Spirit not by measure where he was able to perform all manner of signs, miracles, and wonders, not in him coming down from heaven to be a human. His disciples believed he was the Messiah, the son of David who God promised He would be a Father to BECAUSE of the powers of the Spirit that he displayed before them.

    You

His glory lies in his anointing, his reception of the Spirit of God not in so far as he was able to perform all kinds of signs, miracles and wonders, not by descending from heaven to be a human. His disciples believed that he was the Messiah, the son of David to whom God had promised that he would be a Father DUE to the powers of the Spirit that he manifested before them.

IF YOU DENY THE DIVINITY OF JESUS, YOU MAKE YOU A PURELY HUMAN JESUS AND THEREFORE A PURELY HUMAN SACRIFICE THAT GOD CANNOT ACCEPT.

IT IS THE SON OF GOD DESCENDING FROM HEAVEN THAT OFFERED HIMSELF AND SENT FROM HIS FATHER.

THE SACRIFICE FOR CHRIST BEGINS WHEN HE LEAVED HEAVEN AND HAS MADE HIM WITHOUT REPUTATION (SEE PHILIPIANS) AND BECOME A MAN (THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH)

    I asked you a question that you didn’t answer. . .

    . . .and that’s this one:

If the child who was born of Mary is only a simple man, then why did the Magi from the East bow before him for the AFTER-KNOWLEDGE?

    I rephrase my question:

If the child Jesus who was born of Mary is only a simple human being, why did the three men from the East bow down before him and worship him?

    thanks for answering.

    Matthew 2
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, behold, wise men came from the east to Jerusalem,
    (2) Saying, “Where is he who was born king of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and we came to worship him.
    …..

When they entered the house, they saw the little child with Mary, his mother, and they bowed down to worship him. When they had opened their treasures, they offered him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

I did answer your questions, you must have missed it,

    Page 172-

    Hi Berean,

YOU: If the child who is born of Mary is only a simple man, then why did the Magi from the East bow down before him to WORSHIP him?

Can you Jodi answer this question?

ME: Berean, come on now I do not speak of Jesus as a SIMPLE MAN, a MAN YES, but not a simple man or an ordinary man. You don’t call the man who God appointed to be a king of kings and lord of lords, before the world even began, a simple man. He is the man who we obey and give deep respect to because our One True God made him to be for us our lord and Christ and because, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” (1 Timothy 2:5)

WORSHIP -Proskuneo to give reverence – deep respect

The wise men worship the child BECAUSE they believe God’s word of prophecy that the child is the future king, “1 Chronicles 17:13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: 14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

Matthew 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

There are several degrees to the meaning of the word “proskuneo.”
I believe that in the case of the baby Jesus, it was the highest degree.
    It wasn’t just little reverence.
    The text is strong:
“They fell down (to the ground)
    and worship him.”

    What do you think?

    Hi Berean,

    YOU:

    Jodi

NO, I CANNOT receive your message because it is not the truth

Jesus is not of this earth

AS JOHN BAPTIST SAYS JESUS IS FROM ABOVE

    FROM HEAVEN

    JOHN 3:31
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

HE WAS WITH THE FATHER AND SHARED HIS GLORY (JOHN 17)

ME: You do not seem to be addressing any scriptures I give you.

    PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS PASSAGE,

John 17: 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

Jesus was SENT out into the world upon being anointed with the Holy Spirit not by measure, and those spoken in the above were likewise SENT into the world upon being anointed with the Holy Spirit, but each received a measure, and together with each of their gifts they equated together the BODY of Christ, the BODY of the man Jesus of Nazareth who left the river Jordan having been filled with the Spirit (Luke 4:1), having received all gifts and powers of God’s Spirit.

    PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS PASSAGE,

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Berean, you are ignoring the scriptures that I am giving you to address, your not applying them to the handful of scriptures you are misinterpreting because you’d rather apply them to a man made doctrine then to other passages.

    APPLY SCRIPTURE WITH SCRIPTURES,

We are heirs of God JOINT heirs with Christ to be glorified together.

Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

He who sits at God’s right hand is the Son of Man who received upon being raised from the dead the promised Holy Spirit.

Luke 22:69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and BECOME the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Psalms 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

THIS was God’s WORD before the world began, THE END declared from the beginning, God made all things by reason of and for him, the Son of Man who God GIVES dominion over all the works of God’s hands over to, to put all things under his feet, with the final END declared in 1 Corinthians 15,

1 Corinthians 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

The Son of Man ascended to sit by the right hand of God, and it is the Son of Man returning to fulfill God’s word that God declared in this Son of Man to fulfill before the world was, as all things God by himself made by reason of and for him.

Acts 7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Mark 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Acts 1: 7 And he said unto them,It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

WHO IS this JESUS? He is a Son of Man, the Son of David,

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

How is this Jesus God’s Son? This Jesus, the son of David, is God’s eternal Son according to the Spirit.

Romans 1:1-5 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Berean you don’t want to apply scripture with scripture, you apply your doctrine to a handful of passages that you misinterpret because you apply that doctrine instead of putting all of God’s word together.

When Jesus was raised from the dead you are told that Psalms 2 was fulfilled, God begat the son of David whereby according to him receiving the promised Holy Spirit Jesus is a Son of God.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

CHRIST –CHRISTOS -ANOINTED word origin is CHRIOTO ANOINT

Isaiah 11, 42, 61 tells you that the son of Jesse is anointed with God’s Spirit for a purpose, and that purpose has not been completely fulfilled yet. That Spirit directs all of Jesus’s ways, where Jesus judges the world not by his own eyes and ears, and likewise the saints that rise up at his return also receive the fruits of the Spirit and are made righteous judges through God’s Spirit directing all their ways. They are all ONE through God’s Spirit. Hence why Paul tells you that those that are LED BY the Spirit of God are the Sons of God, that the Spirit is a witness to our spirit that we are children of God. Why Paul tells you,

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness withour spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Berean, the simple clear truth is given to you, we are heirs of God, we are promised to receive of His Spirit like Jesus did and we are to be fully led by that Spirit as Jesus is, and through the Spirit we are Sons of God glorified as he is, for God’s promise unto us is that he IS the firstborn of many brethren. The son of David rose having been begotten on that day of God’s Spirit, made the firstfruits according to an order, where the final end is for God to be ALL IN ALL.

Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. 4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. 5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. 6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. 7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. 8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. 9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

Jesus, the son of David, begotten of God’s Spirit upon rising from the dead is appointed to divide the spoil among those that are his of whom God gave him having called them, having predestined them before the world was.

As said earlier in a post, if I come to death before Christ’s return when I die my prayer to the LORD will be asking him to glorify me with the glory I had of God before the world was, which is to be an heir of God’s Spirit a joint heir with the man raised having been begotten of the Spirit.

Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

    Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

Ezekiel 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

RECALL Paul’s words from God, 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. 19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. 20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. 21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. 24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. 25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

Luke 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Isaiah 46:8 Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors. 9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. 12 Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness: 13 I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

Come on Berean READ the scriptures, hear them and come out from your doctrine,

Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. 25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

God’s WORD before time began was of a human who would SHED his blood and be raised a firstborn of the dead receiving the promised Holy Spirit, that Spirit in him leads him directs all his ways in righteousness and thus makes him a Son of God and makes him an Adam who is in the image of God.  He will divide the spoil, God has given him the inheritance of a firstborn son, receiving dominion over all of God’s works! He was raised with his flesh not being allowed to see decay instead it received glory, power, made incorruptible having eternal life, and David died in hope that his flesh would likewise receive eternal life. God’s WORD before the world began was of the COMING of one from the tribe of Judah, it is the son of David begotten by God who will sit on a throne according to the flesh,

I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it”.

The prophets, Jesus, the apostles gave us God’s WORD before the world was and all things where created by reason of and for the man that was IN God’s WORD before the world was.

    Hi Jodi,

YOU: what the people witnessed was Jesus in the form of God.

Where in scripture says the above LIE?

    Read the TRUTH Jodi:

Mark 8:27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples into the towns of Caesarea Philippi. And in the way, he asked his disciples, saying to them:

Whom do men say that I am?

28Who answered him, saying: John the Baptist; but some Elias, and others as one of the prophets.

29Then he saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? Peter answering said to him:

Thou art the Christ. 30And he strictly charged them that

they should not tell any man of him.

WAS JESUS A HUMAN OF EARTH? Jodi?

    Now to:

Philippians 2:5 For let this mind be in you,

which was also in Christ Jesus:

6Who being (EXISTED) in the form of God, thought it not robbery ( JUSTIFIED) to be equal with God:

    7But emptied himself,(FROM HIS DIVINITY, pre-existence)

taking the form of a servant, (DESPITE HE WAS NOT)

being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man.

    Jodi, JESUS WAS MADE

IN THE LIKENESS OF MAN/HUMAN, AND IN THE HABIT OF MAN/HUMAN.

    ARE YOU, Jodi,

MADE IN THE LIKENESS OF HUMAN AND IN THE HABIT OF HUMAN? ANSWER!

    DEFINITELY NOT!

    YOU ARE HUMAN Jodi!

    BUT JESUS WAS

MADE IN THE LIKENESS OF HUMANS….

HE WAS NOT ONE OF THE  HUMANS OF EARTH!

DO YOU ACCEPT THE ABOVE TRUTH?

Timothy 3:16 And evidently great is

the mystery of godliness, (THE DIVINE TASK OF JESUS)

which was manifested in the flesh, (God in the form of man)

was justified in the spirit, (Philippians 2:6 not robbery ( JUSTIFIED) to be equal with God:)

appeared unto angels, hath been preached unto the Gentiles, is believed in the world, is taken up in glory.

    HI Jodi,

YOU: John 17: 14 I have given them THY WORD; (I HAVE GIVEN is in the PRESENT PERFECT TENSE, an action completed in the past)

Jesus simply declared that He pre-existed as a spirit, “THE WORD” OF GOD! Jesus affirmed that

HE WAS WITHIN HIS APOSTLES AS ANGELS,  IN THEIR HEART,  HE SPOKE GOD’S WORD, AND THEY NEVER JOIND THE REBEL. THUS GOD SENT THEM INTO THE WORLD AND GAVE THEM TO JESUS, AS APOSTLES. Well predicted in

Zecharia 3:Thus saith the Lord of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and keep my charge, thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt keep my courts, and

I will give thee some of them that are now present here to walk with thee.

    CONFIRMED BY JESUS HEREUNDER.

John17:6 I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou hast given me out of the world. (THEY WERE ANGELS INCARNATED IN HUMANS FOR JESUS’ MISSION, THE FACT THAT JESUS CHOSE THEM, WHEN HE WAS STILL A SPIRIT, Depicted in

John 15:16 You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you;   and have appointed you, (present perfect tense an action initiated in the past) that you should go and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. )

Thine they were: ( ANGELS) and to me thou gavest them.( APOSTLES) And they have kept thy word.( SINCE THE BEGINNING, THEY NEVER JOIND THE REBEL)  7Now they have known that all things which thou hast given me are from thee: 8Because the words which thou gavest me, I have given to them. And they have received them and have known in very deed that

I came out from thee: (PRE-EXISTED, THE APOSTLES NEVER CAME OUT OF THE FATHER,) and they have believed

that thou didst send me. 9I pray for them. I pray not for the world, but for them whom THOU HAST GIVEN me: because

THEY ARE THINE. (ANGELS) 10And all my things are thine, and thine are mine: and I am glorified in them.

14 …..and the world hath hated them,

because they are not of the world,( NOT HUMANS OF THE WORLD, THEY WERE ANGELS IN THE FORM OF HUMANS. Philippians  2:6 (Jesus for the first time) ….appeared unto angels ( as apostles)  even as I am not of the world. ( NOT HUMAN OF THE WORLD)

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, (HUMAN ) even so have I also sent them into the world. ( HUMANS. John 20:21 As the Father HATH SENT me,

    I ALSO SEND YOU )

Jesus was SENT out into the world upon being anointed with the Holy Spirit not by measure,

PURE LIES in relation to your understanding, with every respect!

JESUS WAS ANOINTED WHEN HE WAS A SPIRIT “THE WORD” of God in every creatures’ HEART. Depicted in

Isaiah 42:6 I the Lord have called thee in justice,

and taken thee by the hand,

    and preserved thee.

And I have given thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles:

    Isaiah 61:1…..

    because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;

HATH ANOINTED ME  IS IN THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE,

AN ACTION COMPETED IN THE PAST!

    JESUS PRE-EXISTED

and those spoken in the above were likewise SENT into the world (FIRST BY GOD THE FATHER AS HUMANS TO BE APOSTLES,

THEN BY JESUS JOHN 20:21, John 15:16 ABOVE) upon being anointed with the Holy Spirit,

YOU:Isaiah 11, 42, 61   tells you that the son of Jesse is anointed with God’s Spirit for a purpose, and that purpose has not been completely fulfilled yet.

    PURE LIES

John19:28 Afterwards, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said: I thirst. 29Now there was a vessel set there, full of vinegar. And they, putting a sponge full of vinegar about hyssop, put it to his mouth. 30Jesus therefore, when he had taken the vinegar, said: It is consummated. And bowing his head, he gave up the ghost.

    Hi Berean,

    YOU:

    Jodi
There are several degrees to the meaning of the word “proskuneo.”
I believe that in the case of the baby Jesus, it was the highest degree.
    It wasn’t just little reverence.
    The text is strong:
“They fell down (to the ground)
    and worship him.”

    What do you think?

ME: Thanks for your reply and continuation in conversing with me!

Yes I agree there are degrees absolutely.

They gave Jesus reverence as they believed he was the promised king of Israel appointed by our Almighty God. All that this child would be and accomplish is because of the determined purpose our Almighty God had for him since before the world began. If they worshiped this infant as their Almighty God as he was sucking his mom’s breast and soiling himself they would not only be total fools having the likes of a pagan mind, but they also would be breaking God’s first commandment. If they gave this child reverence for who he was according to that which prophecy said he would fulfill, all the while giving the most high praise and thanks to our Almighty God who appointed him to fulfill it, then they would be WISE MEN.

    God is worshipped.

    Jesus is worshipped.

    King David was worshipped.

Only one of these is worshipped as God.

Jesus was worshipped as the Son of God.

David was worshipped as the king of Israel.

The problem is not worship itself, but what or who we worship as God.

    Hi Edj,

    YOU:

Carmel better look again at what John 19:30 says…

It says: “It is FINISHED” not ‘it is consummated’ ???

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/consummate

    Synonyms: Verb for consummate

    complete,
    finalize,
    finish,
    perfect,
    polish

Ed/, In this regard I trust the DRB version. As the word finished could have a hell of a lot of meanings even that Jesus’FLESH is eradicated!

From the other hand as you can read yourself consummated IS MORE THAN APPROPRIATE since Jesus on HIs death.

    GLORIFIED

John17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said,

Father, the hour is come;  THE HOUR OF JESUS’ DEATH.

glorify thy Son, ( AS TRUE GOD ON EARTH)

that thy Son also may glorify thee:( AS TRUE MAN IN HEAVEN, ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER)

John13:31 When he therefore was gone out, Jesus said:

Now is the Son of man (“THE WORD” Jesus’flesh)glorified;(SPIRIT in the Holy Ghost )

and God(in THE HOLY GHOST, in JESUS’SOUL ) is glorified in him. ( FLESH)

32If God (IN THE HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT) be glorified in him, (THE SON OF MAN/FLESH,) God (IN THE HOLY GHOST SPIRIT/FLESH) also will glorify him (THE SON OF MAN FLESH/SPIRIT) in himself: ( GOD UNITED ONE SUBSTANCE IN THE HOLY GHOST/ “THE WORD”SPIRIT/FLESH, IN

    JESUS CHRIST) and

immediately (on THE HOUR of his death, John 17:1) will he (GOD IN THE HOLY GHOST) glorify him. (“THE WORD” made flesh, THE SON OF MAN, SO both THE HOLY GHOST, THE SON OF GOD and “THE WORD” THE SON OF MAN became

    ONE SUBSTANCE

    TWO IN ONE FLESH IN

    JESUS CHRIST

    THE TRUE

    GODMAN ON EARTH )

John17:2As thou hast given him power over all flesh,

that he (ONLY JESUS) may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.

3Now this is eternal life: (ONLY “THE WORD” JESUS THE SON OF MAN )

That they may know you, (FOR THE FIRST TIME OFFICIALLY ON EARTH)

the only true God, and Jesus Christ, (GODMAN ON EARTH)

whom thou hast sent. (PURPOSELY ON EARTH)

    Answer

    WHAT MAKES SOMETHING TRUE

    ON EARTH?

    NOW READ:

1 John5:20And we know that the Son of God is come.

And he hath given us understanding

    that we

    may know the true God

and may be in his true Son.

This is the true God and life eternal.(JESUS CHRIST)

    Hi Everyone,

Why should we believe The Ordinary Jesus Brigade, when
it goes completely against what Jesus clearly taught?

Jesus said: “I came out from God” (John 16:27)
and “I came down from heaven” (John 6:42 & 6:38)

“And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know?
how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?” (John 6:42)

Wow, that’s exactly what Gene and Jodi are saying here!
And that’s because they too believe Jesus’ father was Joseph.

    Just an ordinary fellow

Edj……we believe what Jesus himself said,  it was him who said he was the root and “offspring ” of King David.  Many others in scriptures called him the “son” of David,  me or Jodi are not saying he was not also son of God,  all those given the Spirit of God as an anointing Spirit from God as Jesus was are also Sons of God, exactly as he is.

The question here is not that we do not reconize Jesus as a Son of God, question is in what way is he the Son of God,  is he as you and others say a completely different being as we are ?  Did he “prexist” his life on this earth as some kind of “being” ?  We preach a fellow “human” brother who his God and our God, his Father and our Father, sent out into this world to preach the Gospel of the kingdom of God.

You preach Satan’s “doctrine of separation “,  we preach that “the man” Jesus who was from the  root and “offspring” of King David, as Jesus out of his own mouth said,  became a Son of the Living God exactly as we must also do,  by the Anointing Spirit of the Living God. God who said “the is day”,  I have begotten you,  not a time in the past, but “this” day.

Satan wants everyone to think Jesus was completely different then they are , why because they will then , never think they can come to the “full” stature and measure of Christ Jesus.  That’s what you and people like you believe, Satan’s “doctrine of Separation ” , has done it’s job “in” you,  the Job of “Seperating”  you from him and indeed you are seperate by believing the biggest “LIE” ever Fostered on humanity by Satan himself,  2ths2  .   Because you believe Jesus was and is nothing like you,  therefore,  you could never be like him either. He is more a God unto you, then a real human brother.

Our “DOCTRINES” , DO NOT “SEPERATE”  Jesus from our own human  existence,  your’s does,  Well did Jesus say “many would come in his name saying he is the Christ and “decieve many”.   He that has eyes to see let him see.

Peace and love to you and yours. ………gene

There are other Jesus’s. They are of this world, but only one is from Heaven.

The children of God listen to the one from Heaven.

If you do not believe Jesus is of Heaven, then obviously you are listening to one of the worldly ones.

    “My sheep hear my voice”.

    Amen.
