Hi
March 8, 2020 at 1:35 pm#850482carmelParticipantHi Jodi,
Let’s start with the phrase
CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS!
The very first post I posted regarding the above phrase and where I produced your posting regarding
Isaiah 42:6 is hereunder read:
YOU: Isaiah 42:6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness,
You simply produced the above piece of a particular scripture to justify your truth!
Please expand and be more clear what actually you understand with the above
piece of scripture especially the phrase:
CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS! Also
WHY DID GOD CALL JESUS FOR SUCH DEED?
WHERE WAS JESUS WHEN GOD CALLED HIM?
In the above, I expected that you expand and tell me what YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS
regarding the phrase CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS!
I also produced the definition of righteousness from Merriam-webster dictionary simply to make you aware of its meaning in general, and both of us establish and agree on its truth.
I DID SO TO VERIFY WHETHER YOU ARE ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND OR NOT WHAT YOU ARE TELLING AND ALSO CALLING IT THE TRUTH.
For a reason only you know, you ignored it completely and SIMPLY said:
YOU: I didn’t produce a piece of a particular scripture to justify my truth,…..
Then I answered and said:
What did you justify
WITH ALL YOUR POSTS YOU POSTED then
LIES?
Now back to my question:
Please expand and be more clear
what actually you understand with the phrase in
Isaiah 42:6 I the LORD haveCALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Notice Jodi in the above I posted NOT JUST the phrase
CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS! but the complete sentence which included :
I THE LORD HAVE …..
You posted back and AGAIN
IGNORED MY QUESTION REGARDING
ISAIAH 42:6 as a whole plus the bold type CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS and said:
YOU: Isaiah 6 is about Isaiah becoming a prophet.
“here am I, send me” is Isaiah speaking.
I THEN POSTED BACK AND SAID:
IS THAT ALL?
In the above I meant to ask :
WHAT ABOUT
ISAIAH 42:6 and my question regarding the phrase CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS?
Then I commented on your post and said
You posted from Isaiah6:1 to 6:10 but it seems to me it is of no use at all to you.
Then AGAIN I insisted and said:
Now back to my question:
Please expand and be more clear
what actually you understand with the phrase in
Isaiah 42:6 I the LORD
HAVE CALLED YOU ( PRESENT PERFECT JODI! )
IN RIGHTEOUSNESS!
As you can see in bold type this time I wrote the whole body of the sentence plus that I included within the brackets
(PRESENT PERFECT JODI)
and asked you:
WHY DID GOD CALL JESUS FOR SUCH DEED? AND
WHERE WAS JESUS WHEN GOD CALLED HIM?
Since the present perfect is to express an action that was
COMPLETED IN THE PAST?
Now we come to your last post regarding RIGHTEOUSNESS AND
YOU AGAIN IGNORED TO COMMENT, AND ALSO YOU DID NOT POST MY LAST POST WHICH IS
THE MOST IMPORTANT
REGARDING ISAIAH 42:6
BUT THE VERY FIRST POST I POSTED
WHERE FROM ISAIAH 42:6 I SIMPLY PRODUCED ONLY THE PHRASE:
CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
READ YOUR LAST POST HEREUNDER:
YOU: Please expand and be more clear what actually you understand with the above
piece of scripture especially the phrase:
CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS! …
AGAIN YOU DIDN’T COMMENT REGARDING YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORD
RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Now Jodi read again
Isaiah 42:6 I the Lord
have called thee in
justice,
and taken thee by the hand, and preserved thee.
And I have given thee
for a covenant of the people,
for a light of the Gentiles:
Now let’s read
Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, ( “THE WORD” Jesus, THE SON OF MAN TO BE, STILL A SPIRIT)
I (THE FATHER) will uphold (FUTURE)
him:( “THE WORD” Jesus, THE SON OF MAN TO BE)
my elect, my soul (THE HOLY GHOST in Jesus’ soul) delighteth (SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE, A REFERENCE TO THE PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE, ETERNAL,)
in him: ( THE SON)
In the above, the first part of the sentence, is a clear reference to
THE HOLY GHOST AND “THE WORD” THE SOUL AND THE FLESH of Jesus, THE SON, STILL A SPIRIT.
THE TWO NATURES OF JESUS.
Now to the second part:
I(THE FATHER) have given (present perfect, an action in the past )
my spirit( THE HOLY GHOST the Son of God) upon
him, (“THE WORD” the Son of Man STILL a spirit).
WHEN JODI, HAS GOD GIVEN JESUS
HIS SPIRIT UPON HIM?
THE FATHER, “THE WORD” and THE HOLY GHOST, are
Mentioned in
1 John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, (SOUL/SPIRIT and FLESH) Jesus Christ: not by water (SPIRIT) only but by water and blood. And it is the SPIRIT which testifieth that Christ is the truth. 7 And there are Three who give testimony in heaven,
the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost.
And these three are one.
( ALL IN JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD,
THE EMBODIMENT OF GODMAN)
8And there are three that give testimony on earth:
the spirit (CHRIST, and in all those WHO LIVE IN CHRIST) and the water ( THE HOLY GHOST IN THE BAPTISM OF THE WATER) and the blood. (“THE WORD” made flesh, THE SON OF MAN IN THE ENTIRE HUMANITY.)
And these three are one.
IN THE SPIRIT OF THE SON!
Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God hath sent the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying: Abba, Father.
Also pinpointed out by Jesus in
John4:36 And
he ( THE HOLY GHOST,) that reapeth, receiveth wages and gathereth (SIMPLE PRESENT, past, present, and future,)
fruit unto life everlasting: that both
he(“THE WORD”) that soweth and he (THE HOLY GHOST) that reapeth may rejoice
together. (GLORIFY ON THE CROSS in JESUS CHRIST)
37For in this is the saying true: That it is one man (“THE WORD” )that soweth, and it is another (THE HOLY GHOST) that reapeth. (SIMPLE PRESENT) 38I have sent you to reap that in which you did not labour. Others have laboured:
(THE HOLY GHOST and THE WORD” in the entire process of HUMANITY, in THE SOULS and THE FLESH RESPECTIVELY.) and you have entered into their labours.
Peace and love in Jesus Christ
March 11, 2020 at 4:41 pm#850541JodiParticipantHi Carmel,
YOU: CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS! Also
WHY DID GOD CALL JESUS FOR SUCH DEED?
WHERE WAS JESUS WHEN GOD CALLED HIM?
In the above, I expected that you expand and tell me what YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS
regarding the phrase CALLED YOU IN RIGHTEOUSNESS!
ME: I have a long post with many many scriptures, but I think it’s best to keep my initial response simple.
One thing we need to establish again is that I don’t want to debate your special interpretations where you tell me you have received God’s Spirit to decode secret meanings to passages and I am suppose to believe you. I will not converse with you if you cannot take your belief and back it up with what the scripture directly says, NOT what you say it means by your decoding. If you translate a passage like you did with Isaiah 42:1 it needs to be backed up with other scriptures to show that translation fits. Your translation cannot be based on your private interpretation, otherwise debating with you is a complete waste of my time.
God’s word is that one man brought sin and death and another man would bring righteousness and life. God promised unto His servant David that He would be a Father to one of his sons and beget him on a certain day. First you have a human of the seed of David and THEN you have God make him into His Son and promise to give him an eternal throne (1 Chronicles 17).
God promised that He would rest His Spirit upon the son of Jesse, FOR the purpose to SEND him out among his brethren TO preach God’s word and deliver captives from darkness (Isaiah 11, 42, 61). God promised David that one of his son’s would be raised up to be a savior (Acts 13) and he would receive an eternal throne (1 Chronicles 17) and be God’s firstborn, made higher than all the kings (Psalms 89).
The son of Jesse who God promised to rest His Spirit upon would be a judge NOT by his own eyes and ears (Isaiah 11). Jesus said that he can do nothing of himself, he does what His Father teaches him, what his God directs him to do, and by that Jesus is a righteous judge. According to the Spirit the son of David is a Son of God (Romans 1). According to Jesus having received the Spirit not by measure he was sent to speak God’s word (John 3), and we are told that those who are LED by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God (Romans 8).
Righteousness – transliterated word – Tsedeq
justice, rightness, righteousness
what is right or just or normal, rightness, justness (of weights and measures)
righteousness (in government)
of judges, rulers, kings
of law
of Davidic king, Messiah
of Jerusalem as seat of just government
of God’s attributeMarch 13, 2020 at 1:30 pm#850564carmelParticipantHI, Jodi,

YOU: where you tell me you have received God’s Spirit to decode secret meanings to passages and I am suppose to believe you.
I never, never and NEVER meant that you are supposed to believe me. DON’T BELIEVE ME!
But my saying is there NOT JUST FOR YOU, Jodi
BUT FOR ALL THOSE WHO READ IT AND THEY HAVE THE SAME
SPIRIT BY WHICH THEY CAN REFLECT, MEDITATE, and PRAY THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR
THE TRUTH!
WORLDLY WISDOM IS ONLY GOOD FOR THE WORLD, AND TO UNDERSTAND THE THINGS OF THE WORLD!
HEAVENLY WISDOM COMES ONLY FROM GOD!
James 1:5 But if any of you want wisdom,
let him ask of God who giveth to ALL MEN abundantly and upbraideth not.
And it shall be given him.
6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.
For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, which is moved and carried about by the wind.
7Therefore let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.
8 A double-minded man is inconstant in all his ways.
YOU: Your translation cannot be based on your private interpretation, otherwise debating with you is a complete waste of my time.
Let’s start with
Isaiah 42:1 I the Lord
have called thee in justice, (CLARIFY JODI)

and preserved thee. (CLARIFY JODI)
And I have given thee (CLARIFY JODI)
for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles:
Jodi the above isAS CLEAR AS CRYSTAL
WORLDLY WISDOM!
Which you are supposed to ACCEPT AS TRUTH!
ANSWER:
Do you accept the PURE fact that the above is in
THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE?
Now read and LEARN!
WORLDLY WISDOM AT LEAST!

Present Perfect Tense
Grammarly
BASICSThe present perfect tense refers to an action or state that either occurred at an indefinite time in the past
(e.g., we have talked before) or
began in the past and continued to the present time
(e.g., he has grown impatient over the last hour). This tense is formed by have/has + the past participle.
NOW IF YOU ACCEPT THE ABOVE LESSON,
Isn’t it THE GENUINE TRUTH that
JESUS AS A SPIRIT PREEXISTED ???

March 15, 2020 at 5:27 am#850578carmelParticipantHi,Jodi
YOU: God promised that He would rest His Spirit upon the son of Jesse,
WHERE IN SCRIPTURE CLEARLY and SPECIFICALLY SAYS THAT
GOD PROMISED THAT
HE WOULD REST HIS SPIRIT UPON JESUS?
Peace and love in Jesus Christ/
March 15, 2020 at 8:12 am#850583carmelParticipantGod promised that He would rest His Spirit upon the son of Jesse, FOR the purpose
to SEND him out among his brethren
TO preach God’s word and deliver captives from darkness (Isaiah 11, 42, 61).
FIRST AND FOREMOST Jodi
JESUS WAS NEVER SENT AMONG HIS BRETHREN!
Produce scriptures Jodi which affirm your sayings above.
Also NONE of Isaiah’s 11,42, and 61 mentions the phrase:
AMONG HIS BRETHREN!
Now read Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore,
it behoved him in all things
to be made ( AS CLEAR AS CRYSTAL Jodi, Jesus was not ONE OF HIS BRETHREN instead
JESUS, it behooved HIM TO BE MADE..)
like unto his brethren,
AT ONE STAGE JESUS WAS DEFINITELY A PREEXISTED SPIRIT.
IF HE WASN’T, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN
ONE OF THEM NOT MADE
LIKE
UNTO HIS BRETHREN.
Now to Isaiah 61:1 The spirit of the Lord IS upon me, (PRESENT TENSE Jodi, a reference to the PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE)
BECAUSE ( NOTICE: WHEN ISAIAH SPOKE THOSE WORDS HE SAID, the spirit IS upon Jesus, and it is upon Jesus BECAUSE THE LORD HATH ANOINTED HIM… GOD ALL KNOWING, ALL IN THE PAST ALREADY OCCURRED,)
the Lord hath anointed me:
he hath sent me….
Jodi the above TWO PHRASES are in THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
the present perfect is to express an action that was
COMPLETED IN THE PAST?
ANSWER PLEASE:
When in actual fact hath the Lord
ANOINTED JESUS?
One more question Jodi,
The above scripture verses are the
PRECISE WORDS BY ISAIAH.
HOW DID YOU CONCLUDE THAT IN ACTUAL FACT THEY ARE REFERENCES TO JESUS? A PROPHECY?
Isaiah was anointed, he had the spirit of the Lord upon him to preach, and to prophecy and so on.
Peace and love in Jesus Christ
March 16, 2020 at 10:19 am#850592carmelParticipantHi Jodi,
YOU: Isaiah 42 and 45 give you direct proof that Jesus did not pre-exist as God’s Word.
Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant,
I will uphold him:
my elect, my soul delighteth in him:
Jodi IN THE ABOVE GOD’S SOUL
DELIGHTS
IN JESUS, THE SON OF MAN.
THE WORD DELIGHTS IS IN THE PRESENT TENSE! A REFERENCE TO THE
PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE,
WHICH MEANS THAT GOD’S SOUL WAS IN JESUS,
“THE WORD” MADE FLESH, THE SON OF MAN,
BEFORE HE WAS BORN, PRE-EXISTED. HE WAS IN JESUS
WHEN HE WAS BORN, OBVIOUS OF THE HOLY GHOST, AND HE IS ALSO IN JESUS
ETERNALLY GLORIFIED IN JESUS’ FLESH BODY IN
JESUS CHRIST. JOHN 13:31-32. Now read:
Acts 20:28 Take heed to yourselves and to the whole flock, wherein
the Holy Ghost hath placed you bishops, to rule the Church of God which
he hath purchased with his own blood
The above is without a doubt a clear reference to
THE HOLY GHOST, attributed to
THE SON OF GOD,
GOD’S ELECT, GLORIFIED PRECISELY IN ONE SUBSTANCE WITH
“THE WORD” MADE FLESH,
JESUS THE SON OF MAN. JOHN 13:31-32, John 4:36-37.
I have given my spirit upon him,….
The above is in the PRESENT PERFECT TENSE!
the present perfect is to express an action that was
COMPLETED IN THE PAST?
Jodi, WHEN DID GOD GIVE JESUS HIS SPIRIT UPON HIM?
WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT:
JESUS PRE-EXISTED
Now to
Isaiah 45:13I have raised him up to justice,…
Again the above is in the PRESENT PERFECT TENSE! Thus it is
an action that was
COMPLETED IN THE PAST?
Jesus PRE-EXISTED Jodi!
Peace and love in Jesus Christ
March 17, 2020 at 10:01 am#850614JodiParticipantHi Carmel,
YOU:HEAVENLY WISDOM COMES ONLY FROM GOD!
ME: Yes in deed heavenly wisdom comes ONLY from God and the scriptures give us God’s wisdom. God gave wisdom to certain men to share with others. God gave His future promises, to certain men to share with others. They were of the Holy Spirit giving us God’s word to believe.
You however believe they wrote in codes and one then needs to have God’s Spirit to be able to decode what they wrote.
Truth of God and the wisdom therein, comes from applying His given WORD in scripture with His other given WORDS of scripture.
One can only know how a doctrine spoken by a man is true or false is by testing it with what the Word of God says directly in scripture, where there are no contradictions.
HEAR THESE WORDS, NOT decode these word,
Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.
ACCORDING AS IT IS WRITTEN
I believe that the writers of the bible had the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the very word of God that God calls those that are His to believe in that very word. God gives His wisdom to the ones He calls so they can search all things written, apply scripture with scripture to see the truth that He gave and also be able to discern against false teachers.
March 17, 2020 at 11:23 am#850616JodiParticipantCarmel,
Isaiah 1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah,Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah…27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness. 28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
….Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
The passage below is NOT present tense, it is of the vision Isaiah spoke giving the future words that the son of Jesse would speak, of which we read Jesus quote speaking of himself in Luke 4.
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
The below passage is not present tense, it is Isaiah revealing the future truth of what God says concerning the son of Jesse and what God is going to accomplish through him.
Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my Spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
This is quoted in Matthew 12 as fulfilled in the man JESUS! 15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; 16 And charged them that they should not make him known: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, 18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. 19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. 20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. 21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
The son of Jesse is exalted, JESUS is God’s ELECT/CHOSEN from out of the people.
Psalm 89:19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. 20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: 21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. 22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. 23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. 24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
Acts 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. 22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
Jesus did not pre-exist as the word of God, he was IN God’s word since the world began where the prophets spoke of him, a Son of Man ELECTED/CHOSEN from among the people who God rests His Spirit upon so that he can be a prophet like Moses and speak God’s WORD.
Jesus was chosen from among the people and God’s Spirit descended upon him like a dove and God declared at that moment that THIS JESUS is His Son, fulfilling God’s word spoken by the prophet Nathan unto David, that God would be a Father unto David’s son and God would settle him in His house and give this son of David an eternal throne. Jesus had God’s Spirit rest upon him, an anointing/set apart TO be SENT out TO PREACH God’s WORD.
Carmel, scripture directly teaches you 3 things about God’s WORD that has to do with Jesus of Nazareth the son of David and Jesse.
#1. God SPOKE giving His WORD since the world began speaking of a man chosen from among his brethren. Many prophecies speak of this man and Jesus is this man where God’s word from ancient of days is fulfilled in him.
#2. Jesus has God’s Spirit come to rest upon him without measure for him to be SENT out into the world and be able to SPEAK God’s WORD, for God is directing all his ways and Jesus speaks that which God tells him to speak, thus the Son of Man Jesus becomes a messenger of God’s WORD, a prophet.
#3. Jesus not only speaks God’s WORD but he is sent out to complete God’s word, fulfill all of God’s will that God had established before the world even began. He is returning to fulfill all of God’s promises, all of God’s WORD.
In Jesus the son of David and Jesse we see God’s WORD, God’s word fulfilled in him, God’s word spoken by him, and God’s word fulfilled by him.
March 17, 2020 at 12:06 pm#850617carmelParticipantHi Jodi,
YOU:
The below passage is not present tense, it is Isaiah revealing the future truth of what God says concerning the son of Jesse and what God is going to accomplish through him.
Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect,
in whom my soul delighteth; THE WORD “DELIGHTS” IS IN THE PRESENT TENSE. Jodi!
I have put my Spirit upon him: I HAVE PUT IS IN THE ” PRESENT PERFECT TENSE” Jodi!
Now read what I said:
Jodi IN THE ABOVE GOD’S SOUL
DELIGHTS
IN JESUS, THE SON OF MAN.
THE WORD DELIGHTS IS IN THE PRESENT TENSE! A REFERENCE TO THE
PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE,
WHICH MEANS THAT GOD’S SOUL WAS IN JESUS,
“THE WORD” MADE FLESH, THE SON OF MAN,
BEFORE HE WAS BORN, PRE-EXISTED. HE WAS IN JESUS
WHEN HE WAS BORN, OBVIOUS OF THE HOLY GHOST, AND HE IS ALSO IN JESUS
ETERNALLY GLORIFIED IN JESUS’ FLESH BODY IN
JESUS CHRIST. JOHN 13:31-32.
I also said:
I have given my spirit upon him,….
The above is in the PRESENT PERFECT TENSE!
the present perfect is to express an action that was
COMPLETED IN THE PAST.
YOU:Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me;
IS UPON ME IS IN THE PRESENT TENSE A REFERENCE TO THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE! ETERNAL!
because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;
HATH ANOINTED ME IS IN THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE,
AN ACTION COMPLETED IN THE PAST!
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
HE HATH SENT ME IS IN THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE,
AN ACTION COMPLETED IN THE PAST!
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
ALL THE ABOVE IS COMPLETED IN THE PAST!
JESUS PRE-EXISTED Jodi!
Jodi the above
IT IS ALL HOW IT IS WRITTEN.
Peace and love in Jesus Christ
March 17, 2020 at 12:23 pm#850618JodiParticipantHi Berean,
YOU:
JESUS IS THE DIVINE SON OF GOD MADE MAN
BY HIM GOD CREATED EVERYTHING.Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
ME: Jesus is the son of David who God promised He would be a Father to,
1 Chronicles 17:11 And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. 12 He shall build me an house, and I will establish his throne for ever. 13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: 14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore. 15 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
Luke 1: 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
God created all things for THIS JESUS, the son of David who God promised He would be a Father to and settle him in His house and give him an eternal throne.
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Jesus was the only mortal man to have been begotten of God’s Spirit without measure, upon this anointing/being set apart from among his brethren God SENT him out to fulfill all His will.
Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. 23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: 24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
There was no Son, no Anointed One until Jesus was baptized and the Spirit descended like a dove and begat Jesus in full measure with that Spirit. Jesus went to the cross in obedience to God being made perfect through suffering, where he condemned sin in the flesh not giving into temptation where all men fear death, he instead displayed his unrelenting faith in God, he believed in God’s word of Isaiah 53, Psalms 8, and Psalms 89. Jesus DIED, but God as promised raised him from the dead before his flesh saw decay, and upon rising from the dead God gave him the promised Holy Spirit and the mercies God promised unto David. The man crucified was raised and God made him our eternal lord and Christ.
Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
READ Isaiah 45 it is clear that Jesus did not pre-exist, he was not God’s WORD, Jesus of Nazareth was IN God’s word before the world was. In Isaiah 45 you are directly told that God made heaven, earth, and man ALONE, by himself, there was no other. In Isaiah 45 there is a man God promises to raise up in righteousness and direct all his ways so he will deliver captives. God also says in this chapter that He did not make earth in vain, but for it to be inhabited, and God before the world began promised eternal life unto mankind. We are also told by Isaiah that God declared the END from the beginning. JESUS, the son of David who God promised to be a Father to was IN God’s WORD from the beginning, God made all things by reason of (through) and for him. Jesus didn’t pre-exist and make everything for himself.
God promised He was going to be mindful of a man and crown that man giving him dominion over all the earth. God made all things by reason of and for THIS MAN. Jesus says in Revelation that he IS the root and offspring of David, and you are directly told that it is the Son of Man that is returning. God’s WORD from the beginning He had declared the END, Jesus according to the flesh sitting on his father David’s throne, where God is a Father unto him according to His Spirit, having been raised from the dead, receiving the PROMISE of the Spirit. We are likewise promised to be heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ. For the Son of God you are told IS the firstborn of many brethren and those who are LED by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God.

March 18, 2020 at 8:50 am#850646JodiParticipantHi Berean and All,
Berean how about we talk about God’s word in 1 Chronicles 17 and what is written in Acts where Psalms is quoted as being fulfilled?
PLEASE when reading the scriptures I post keep in mind these passages.
Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
Titus 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; 3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
I DO NOT see Jesus as God’s pre-existing WORD, I see Jesus IN God’s WORD of prophecy, which would be God’s promises He declared from the beginning, even before the world was.
Now below we are not given the NAME of David’s son who God promises He WILL BE a Father to, the name of David’s son is not revealed until an angel of the LORD comes to Joseph and also an angel comes to Mary and tells them each what his name shall be, When the angel speaks giving his name to Joseph and to Mary both in Matthew and in Luke Jesus is immediately referenced as the one in whom prophecy is fulfilled, prophecy that he is the one who will save his people from their sins, prophecy that he is the one who was promised to be born of a virgin unto the house of David which was a sign that David’s descendant would rule over David’s kingdom, and as well the very prophecy of 1 Chronicles 17 below is given in Luke 1 to Mary.
Biblical FACT, JESUS is God’s SON according to a promise given unto David concerning his son, and the child to be born to be named Jesus it is said that he WILL be called the Son of the Highest.
Acts 2:22-38 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. 23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: 24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. 25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose. 26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent. 27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him. 28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain. 29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre. 30 But God raised him from the dead: 31 And he was seen many* days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people. And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; AS IT IS also written in the second psalm, “Thou art my Son, THIS DAY have I begotten thee”. And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: 37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. 38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Jesus is God’s WORD of Psalms fulfilled, on the DAY Jesus rose from the dead he was BEGOTTEN by God declared to be God’s Son where he received the PROMISE of the Holy Spirit and the promised mercies of David. Those mercies/ God’s goodness would never be taken away, Jesus was begotten of God’s Spirit for all eternity.
Prior before Jesus’s death, God also declared Jesus to be His Son, this declaration was made upon the son of David rising out of the water and the Spirit of God descended like a dove and came to abode upon him. He left the river Jordan it says having been filled with the Spirit.
John 3:5 Jesus answered,Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again….33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
The one who speaks God’s WORD does so because he received the Spirit not by measure. Jesus the son of David became God’s Son, he was begotten by God Spirit without measure and God sent him out into the world TO preach God’s word.
Isaiah’s prophecy fulfilled,
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
JESUS the son of David who God begat him with the full measure of His Spirit was he that was SENT out into the WORLD. This Son was sent where he would learn obedience through suffering being made perfect going to the cross being as a lamb without spot or blemish for to be our savior. The son of David as we read in Acts was raised up to be a savior. He was crucified according to God’s word before the world was, according to God’s determined purpose and foreknowledge. THIS Jesus having been IN God’s word even before the world was.
In Acts and elsewhere scripture speaks of him not of having come until AFTER the baptism John preached. There was no Son sent, there was no Christ sent, until Jesus was baptized and began bringing good tidings starting in Galilee. Jesus came unto the people directly from heaven/from God, being the bread from heaven, that bread being his anointed flesh, God’s word of Isaiah made true in the flesh. By him having received the full measure of the Spirit he was sent to perform God’s will, perform God’s deeds and speak God’s words, he came to the people being in the absolute form of God, he did not use any of the powers of the Spirit for himself, he was God’s humble servant never following his own will only that of God’s.
We are told in Acts,
By this son of David “all that believe are justified from all things“, therefore through this man do all things consist, as God through him brings unto us LIFE again, God fulfilling HIS WORD before the world began, eternal life.
Jesus was not God’s WORD before the world began, JESUS the name given to the son of David who God promised He would be a Father to, was IN God’s WORD before the world began. All of God’s pleasure, the END that He declared from the beginning all consisted through ONE MAN who would bring righteousness and life.
God made the world by reason of and for this MAN, who is said in Romans 8 to be God’s Son as being the firstborn of many brethren, a man who was raised from the dead receiving the promised Holy Spirit and promised to receive an eternal throne.
A pre-existing anointed son coming to earth to be our savior is VANITY/EMPTINESS, created through people ignoring the actual WORD of God that God declared from the beginning. Jesus could do nothing of himself, all things he did was through him having been begotten of God’s Spirit without measure at the river Jordan. God SENT the Son of Man to save that which was lost, the son of David who God raised up to be a savior. The one who was SENT was the man God anointed TO PREACH and TO DELIVER CAPTIVES.
The one who God is sending from heaven IS the Son of Man, the offspring of Jesse, the root and offspring of David, of whom God’s Spirit rests upon for all eternity, and through that Spirit Jesus will judge the earth NOT by his own eyes and ears but through God directing all His ways, as those that are LED by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God.
