First let me say, the bible speaks clearly and directly of the truth of what we are to believe. The writers of the scriptures wrote through the Holy Spirit declaring the Gospel, so that people who had ears to hear would believe and be saved. Go read Acts 1, 2, 5, 10, and 13. You keep on insisting that the truth is your special interpretations, and the more you give me your special interpretations all the more you show yourself to be against God’s word.
Carmel, the genealogy in Luke goes all the way to Adam, and Isaac is specifically said to be Abraham’s seed, what you are trying to push is completely false.

Abraham had NO sons at all at this time, Abraham thought at that point someone not of his seed would take his inheritance. The LORD came and said that he would in fact have an heir of his seed.
13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy SEED shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

Ishmael and Isaac are the sons of Abraham they are BOTH of his seed his direct genes, one is a child from a bondwoman and one is a child from his wife. The son of the bondwoman came when his wife suggested that Abraham and the bondwoman procreate. The son of his wife came through God’s direct promise, where God took the barren womb of Abraham’s wife and healed it so that it could be fruitful, a son of Abraham is then born. Through Abraham’s seed (Isaac), his only son born of a direct promise from God, all nations would be blessed.
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. 19 Wherefore then serveth the law? Isaiah speaks the WORD, it is the LORD’S WORD of what would occur in the FUTURE, Isaiah speaks it because the LORD chose him as a prophet and he speaks through God’s Spirit that is upon him. That which he speaks is the LORD’S WORD that is MADE true later in the flesh of Jesus, the Son of Man, the son of David. Jesus is not a pre-existent Spirit known as THE WORD. In the beginning was this WORD of the LORD which the LORD later gave to Isaiah to speak. This WORD that was in the beginning, later became true in the flesh of Jesus.

Carmel, the “only begotten Son” is a reference TO JESUS of Nazareth, HE a mortal HUMAN of the fruit of David’s loins, is HE who IS called the “only begotten Son”. He is not called this because he pre-existed as a one of a kind spirit son. He is called this because he is the ONLY HUMAN who as Isaiah tells you in chapter 42 the LORD GAVE His GLORY to, the LORD called him, this human to righteousness for to direct all his ways so that he would be a LIGHT. There is no other mortal human who received that which was of the LORD’S WORD before the world even was, that Isaiah spoke. When the LORD was creating earth and man, ALONE by Himself as you are directly told, this WORD was WITH Him. When the LORD said, “let there be LIGHT”, the LORD KNEW of the LIGHT that would come which Isaiah spoke of. THAT LIGHT Carmel was WITH the LORD from the beginning. The LORD created all things through and for that LIGHT.
Carmel, people didn’t behold the glory of Jesus seeing him as a pre-existing spirit son, they beheld the glory of the man of Isaiah 11, 42, 45, and 61 who would fulfill Isaiah 53, a human who had the LORD’S Spirit bode upon him since the river Jordan, being filled with the Spirit and Power of the LORD who they witnessed him heal the sick, raise the dead, walk on water, turn water into wine, speak the LORD’S WORD with authority.

Carmel, Isaiah 53 is clear, a man lays down his life for his brethren, and the LORD resurrects him and gives him a portion with the great, and gives him dominion to divide the spoil with the strong. Jesus is resurrected and receives a PROMISE Carmel, that PROMISE was the LORD’S WORD before the world was. The LORD made heaven and earth through that promise Carmel. Jesus is resurrected given eternal life receiving the PROMISE of the Holy Spirit which he will have for all eternity, he is said directly to receive the sure mercies of David. Jesus is made an eternal king of kings. He is returning to earth where others will receive the promised Holy Spirit for all eternity, and they too will be perfect, for there ARE JOINT HEIRS with Christ.

This eyewitness further explains that the COMING is also according to the SURE WORD of prophecy, where he speaks of a LIGHT that shineth in a dark place. Isaiah 11, 42, 45, and 61 give us the account as to the coming of our lord Jesus Christ.
For those who are unlearned of scripture, they are those who are they that bring forth destruction, they bring forth the very fables mentioned by Peter, creating false doctrine as to the COMING of our lord Jesus the ANOINTED. They don’t speak of his coming according to the SURE WORD of PROPHECY they speak of his coming according to their own inventions.
Jesus himself quotes the sure word of his coming according to prophecy, he speaks to us of Isaiah 61 in Luke 4.

Nothing you quote Jodi disproves that his name is the Word of God and that God created all things through him.
Your whole argument using such verses has failed to disprove that he is in the glory that he had with the Father before the cosmos.

Carmel…..do you just dream this stuff up as you go along, why not just stick to clearly written scriptures, instead of trying to speritulize everything without any written scriptural proofs supporting your conclusions. Use the scriptures as your support like the Apostle Paul and others did. Be specific, be clear, and read what Jodi and others say. Remember what it Says in Titus , “you have not received the spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind”.

Where have I ever said that I am trying to disprove that his name is the Word of God?NEVER EVER have I, FAR FROM IT. What I have said below I have said before. Get the argument straight t8, it’s about the identity of WHO Jesus is that is up for debate, not whether or not one of his names is the Word of God.
JESUS IS called the Word of God, and WHY would the human whose origin/beginning comes from the seed of Abraham and David according to Matthew be called such a name later in Revelation?
According to scripture,
Point 1, JESUS, who IS the root and offspring of David, a son of Man returning to sit on his father David’s throne, IS the fulfilled WORD of God. We see Jesus as our light for God fulfilled His WORD spoken by the prophet Isaiah, where He called the son of Jesse to righteousness for TO BE a light even unto the Gentiles. By Jesus we know that God’s WORD is TRUE. Jesus himself reveals how he is God’s WORD made true in him when he quotes Isaiah 61. Isaiah 61 is God’s WORD and God made that WORD true in Jesus. Believing in Jesus means you believe God’s WORD is true in him.
Point 2, When Jesus quoted Isaiah 61 (God’s WORD) how it is true in him, that WORD was that he would be anointed and sent out to PREACH God’s WORD. Jesus did not speak his own words but he was anointed having the Spirit upon him so that he could speak that of God’s WORD. Hearing Jesus means your are listening to God’s appointed messenger, giving us God’s WORD.
Point 3, God’s WORD spoken by the prophet Isaiah was that Jesus would not fail, that he would be obedient to his death and by his wounds we would be healed. Jesus thus likewise fulfills God WORD.
God fulfilled His promised WORD in JESUS. God anointed JESUS with His Spirit to speak God’s WORD and so that He could fulfill God’s WORD. God raised JESUS from the dead giving him the promised Holy Spirit, and the promised mercies of David. He is the fulfillment of Psalms 2, 8, 89 and Isaiah 7, 11 and 42 where there is still more of God’s WORD remaining for him to fulfill.

Isaiah 42 and 45 tell me that your interpretation of Colossians 1 CANNOT BE TRUE, furthermore in Colossians the person identified being spoken of IS THE MAN WHO SHED HIS BLOOD, I apply the passages in that chapter to being speaking of HIM.

You want to accuse me of not sticking to the conversation, where I would say in my defense I am applying relevant scriptures to further my position as being true, I can’t help it if the LORD gives so many passages that proves my position. The fact that you don’t want to discuss it but just say I am going off conversation is your issue. You just don’t want to have to apply my expanding scriptural proof I give to my defense, it’s so much easier for you not to have to think about those passages and how they would actually apply.

God has the power through His Spirit to cause a woman to be pregnant WITH the seed of her husband or betrothed husband. It’s really that simple, unless you want to deny the power of God’s Spirit and direct scripture? Scripture clearly states that Isaac was Abraham’s son, of his seed, and likewise Jesus’s origin/beginning and genealogy is said to be OF Joseph.
If someone says that they are of the seed of Abraham through Benjamin, then Isaac is certainly of the SEED of Abraham.

Carmel, Matthew DIRECTLY TELLS YOU that JESUS was FATHERED by/OF the GENES OF Abraham and David, as was PROMISED by God, THROUGH the GENES OF JOSEPH. This occurred through the power of God’s Holy Spirit, and is the fulfillment of Isaiah 7, where God declared there to be a SIGN of a virgin birth so that the house of David would know that God keeps His promise, concerning David’s SEED.
What was that promise? The angel spoke of it in Luke 1 and likewise it was given in OT scriptures.

Carmel, APPLY the GIVEN WORD to the GIVEN WORD! BELIEVE in the PROMISES of GOD and don’t make them VOID, don’t wash them under the rug and speak against GOD with a false doctrine.
God PROMISED David that OF David’s SONS a seed of David would be born and God WOULD BE a Father unto him, and give him the throne of his father David forever.
Later we read in Isaiah 7 how the King of Judah Ahaz had FEAR that another tribe would take over the throne of David, and God declared that it would not be so, and God gave the house of David a SIGN so that they would know that God keeps His promise that He had given to David, that we read in 1 Chronicles 17. That SIGN was that the promised seed of David that would be for an eternal king over the throne of David and rule over the house of Jacob would be born of a virgin.
TO TURN and deny God’s WORD given in 1 Chronicles 17, Isaiah 7, Isaiah 11, Luke 1, and in Matthew 1, and speak of the virgin birth as NOT being a SIGN for the house of David so they would know that the promised seed was born by the direct hand of God, is of GREAT ERROR. Carmel you teach a false image of Jesus making him identical to that of historical false gods, a man born of a virgin being impregnated by a fasle god, being seen as a god himself.
JESUS whose BEGINNING comes from the GENES of Joseph making him of the seed of David and Abraham as was promised by God, and then affirmed by Matthew, is he who God had promised that He WOULD BE a Father to him, and God promised that He WOULD make him great. Jesus BECOMES GREAT at the river Jordan as the Spirit descends upon him, AN ANOINTING being CHRIO MADE into the CHRISTOS, the only MORTAL MAN BEGOTTEN of God’s Spirit without measure, the only MORTAL MAN to be CALLED to RIGHTEOUSNESS and have God direct all his ways, JUST EXACTLY as God had PROMISED. The VERY reason WHY at that moment the Spirit abodes upon him God declares “THIS is my Son“, fulfilling what the angel told Mary in Luke 1, fulfilling what God had promised to David, fulfilling the words of God from the prophet Isaiah. That WORD becoming true in the flesh of JESUS. The people beheld his glory not because he was born god, nor because he pre-existed but BECAUSE beginning in Galilee AFTER the baptism John preached when Jesus left the Jordan having been FILLED with the Spirit and Power of God he began to fulfill all that God demanded of him, heal the sick, raise the dead, preach the Gospel, go to the cross learning obedience for to deliver captives.
Isaiah 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. 13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
THIS is the one who was SENT by God Carmel, the only MORTAL MAN of the offspring of Jesse, to have been begotten of God’s Spirit without measure. JESUS IS God’s only begotten Son, not because he pre-existed, not because of being born of flesh but a god, but because he is the promised seed of David that God had said He would be a Father to and have him fulfill all His will.
Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. 23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
Carmel, God didn’t send down a one of a kind spirit son, God didn’t impregnate Mary with His seed making Jesus a Son of God, GOD SENT JESUS into the world where Jesus went into the world having been SENT directly FROM HEAVEN, FROM GOD, upon God resting His Spirit upon him without measure. The savior SENT is the son of David, the son of Jesse as GOD HAD PROMISED, fulfilling that which God had promised unto the son of Jesse, begetting his son with His Spirit, His Spirit of Wisdom, of Understanding, of Council and Might, of Knowledge and Fear of the LORD, and then SENDING him out to deliver captives, be for a LIGHT unto all nations.
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
THIS man is able to judge NOT because he pre-existed, not because he was born a human and a god, but BECAUSE he is the OFFSPRING of JESSE who God had PROMISED He would raise him up in righteousness and direct all his ways. He judges NOT by his own eyes and ears, but through God by God’s Spirit resting upon him. Otherwise he could do nothing of himself.
THIS was God’s WORD from the beginning, when He by himself created all things. God made man in His own image, and the Son of Man is returning in the glory of His Father to set up his father David’s throne to rule on it forever more. God did not make earth and man in vein, He made it to be inhabited. Romans 8 tells you WHO the Son of God IS, he IS the firstborn of the dead of many brethren, and we are to be made in the image of that Son, joint heirs with him, being an heir also of God, living on earth having God also direct all our ways, so that we too can dwell without sin, having the fullness of God’s Spirit as Jesus received at the river Jordan.
The Son as said to BE the firstborn of the dead, is also said in Acts to have been raised from the dead receiving the PROMISED Holy Spirit, to receive the promised sure mercies of David, to be the fulfillment of Psalms 2, where God promised David’s son to on a certain day beget him and be a Father unto him.
HOW many PROMISES of God do you want to deny Carmel? THESE PROMISES were established before the world was. God had promised eternal life before the world was. When God said by his mouth “let there be light“, He knew full well the calling He would bring forth to the son of Jesse, making him to be a light unto all nations, bringing forth eternal life. God made all things by reason of and for this LIGHT! As in this man IS LIFE, in this man thus all things consist, the man who SHED his blood for to bring that LIFE, who did so by learning obedience as he was a Son of Man being TAUGHT by God.

I ask anyone to bring forth a scripture that tells us that we are saved because Jesus pre-existed.
Jesus himself tells us that he could do nothing of himself. Jesus himself tells us that it is because of the Spirit of God resting upon him that he is sent to deliver captives.
I ask anyone to bring forth a scripture that tells us that Jesus received the Spirit of God resting upon him at the river Jordan because he pre-existed.
Scripture tells us that the ONE to receive the Spirit of God to rest upon him for to deliver captives, is to be of the offspring of Jesse.
I ask anyone to bring forth a scripture that tells us that the one to receive dominion over all the works of God’s hands was to be a pre-existing spirit son.
Scripture tells us that God who created the heavens and earth is mindful of a HUMAN, and visits that HUMAN, and crowns that HUMAN with glory and honor and gives this HUMAN dominion over all the works of His hands.
Recall how God gave Adam dominion overall the earth but he died. Jesus however, called the Last Adam, was raised in glory, in power, incorruptible, receiving the PROMISED Holy Spirit and the mercies promised to David, which was for him to be a king of kings and a lord of lords, having dominion overall the earth, including all the beasts of the land and sea.
Recall how God said that He did not make earth and man in vein, but made the earth to be inhabited. Recall how God made man in His own image, and how we are told that the MAN who Shed his blood, is he who is the image of the invisible God. Recall how God said that Jesus was delivered to be slain by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God. Recall how Jesus declares, after he ascended to heaven as the Son of Man to sit at God’s right hand, that he IS the root and offspring of David. Recall how the Son of God IS directly identified as being the firstborn of many brethren, and how he IS the Son of Man returning in GLORY to establish an eternal kingdom. Recall how God declared the END from the beginning.

THE WORD is how God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth WITH the Holy Spirit and Power.
Jesus was not a Messiah because he pre-existed. People didn’t behold the glory of Jesus because he pre-existed.
The people saw Jesus as the Messiah, filled with grace and truth, because he had been ANOINTED upon his baptism at the river Jordan being filled WITH the Holy Spirit and Power.
God ordained THIS MAN who HE raised from the dead RECEIVING the PROMISED Holy Spirit, to be the judge of the quick and the dead.
The ROOT and OFFSPRING of David, Jesus of Nazareth IS God’s OATH, he is GOD’S WORD fulfilled, GOD’S WORD that was FROM BEFORE the world began.
The anointed Jesus of Nazareth receiving from God the Holy Spirit and Power who was then sent out into the world to be wounded for our transgressions, is ACCORDING to God’s own PURPOSE and GRACE that God had established before the world began.
HEAR THE WORD of GOD that was according to His PURPOSE and GRACE before the world began,
Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my Spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. 5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
HERE the WORD, that was from the beginning according to God’s PURPOSE and Grace WHEN He alone created heaven, earth, and man,
Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Isaiah 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

THE WORD began in Galilee, AFTER the baptism John preached, HOW GOD had ANOINTED JESUS of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power who was then sent fulfilling God’s will as God was with him. This man begotten of the Spirit filled with Wisdom, Understanding, Council and Might, Knowledge and Fear of the LORD, was ANOINTED by the Spirit TO PREACH God’s WORD, perform signs and miracles, to heal, to deliver captives out of darkness. This man was called to righteousness for to be a LIGHT and bring forth LIFE according to the PURPOSE and Grace of God that God had established before the world began.
Now APPLY this TRUTH, do not be without UNDERSTANDING, do not be without God’s GIVEN WORD, when you read John 1. NOTICE how this passage leads up to John bearing witness to Jesus of Nazareth receiving the Holy Spirit and John declaring that this is the Son of God. Remember John also was spoken in God’s WORD in prophecy. Likewise John knew according to prophecy to be fulfilled that Jesus WAS to be called to righteousness for to be a LIGHT. John knew this was God’s WORD before the world was, that this man was IN God’s WORD from the beginning.

The WORD of Isaiah 11, 42, 45, and 61 MADE true in the flesh of Jesus. John is a witness for to declare that WORD made true, that it is Jesus of Nazareth who is the LIGHT of Isaiah 42, which WAS God’s WORD from the beginning. John is a witness to tell us that this Jesus is the Son of God, also according prophecy given in 1 Chronicles 17, where God had said He would be a Father unto David’s seed, raising him up to fulfill all His will and be for a savior.
THE WORD of God from the beginning spoken later by Isaiah, IS “HOW GOD had ANOINTED JESUS of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power..”
THIS is the beginning of the Gospel as you are directly told, why we see Mark 1 tell us this also, and as John likewise begins with it. The good news unto all nations is how God ANOINTED the MAN Jesus of Nazareth. THEN this man, the only mortal to receive such glory from God as according to Isaiah 42, the only man to have been begotten by God’s Spirit filled with grace and truth, he was sent out and PREACHED to us further that which was God’s WORD that was according to His purpose and grace before the world was.
Psalms 8, Isaiah 42 and 45 along with Jesus’s words, tells you that God himself created heaven, earth and man. You are directly told that Christ Jesus and the eternal life that he would bring as a man anointed, was according to God’s purpose and grace before the world was. A MAN SHED his blood and was raised from the dead being firstborn overall creation, given dominion over all things ACCORDING to Psalms 8, because he was a HUMAN who God was mindful of and visited, then crowned this human with glory and honor giving this human dominion over all God’s works.
God did not create earth and man in vein. God created man in His own image, and the man who SHED his blood erasing eternal death and receiving the promise of the Holy Spirit and eternal life, he is the image of the invisible God, and we are promised to be made into the image of the Son, and the image of the Son is directly told to you to be the man who is first according to an order that God had established before the world was, firstborn of the dead of many brethren.
God did declare the END from the beginning, and we are directly given that END, which is the ROOT and OFFSPRING of David sitting on David’s throne for evermore, with God being as a Father unto him, having fulfilled His WORD promised to David concerning David’s son in Psalms 2.
