Nick, what did I say about having to debate something that the Scrioture is clear about? I don’t need to.
John 8:56-58 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.”
October 26, 2018 at 3:45 am#835155GeneBalthropParticipantDig4truth. ….Father Abraham indeed did look forward to see the day of His seed Jesus the anointed man of God his prophesied seed, the messiah. He also looked for a city whose builder and maker was GOD. JESUS WAS THE PROPHESIED SEED THAT WOULD BE THE ONE TO BLESS THE WHOLE WORLD. Your are looking at what Jesus said like the blind Pharisies did, they also thought what you are saying. But jesus is before all in human importance. Because it was through him the death penalty the whole world is removed.
You people force the text to say what in fact it does not “specifically” say, but where there are specific scriptures that deny what you people say you completely ignore them. Show us one place where Jesus told them he was “ALIVE” , BEFORE ABRAHAM. Infact produce one scripture where Jesus ever said he was alive before his berth on this earth. Jesus never existed before his berth on this earth. He is a prophesied human being, who God perfected, a prototype of the perfected human , that GOD THE FATHER PERFECTS. HE SHOWS US WHAT GOD THE FATHER CAN DO WITH US ALL. HE IS THE EXACT FULFILLMENT OF GOD’S PLAN FOR HUMANITY. THE FIRST BORN OF ALL HUMAN KIND INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AS SONS OF GOD, INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD.
Peace and love to you and yours. …….gene
October 26, 2018 at 4:55 am#835158NickHassanParticipantHi Dig4,
Did you doubt that the Holy Spirit that spoke through Jesus Christ was before Abraham?
October 26, 2018 at 7:06 am#835160Dig4truthParticipantGene, there is no need to debate what the scriptures clearly teach.
October 26, 2018 at 8:21 am#835162NickHassanParticipantHi Dig4,
Yes the scriptures clearly teach that ‘in these last days God has spoken to us through His Son.’
and that ‘he whom God has sent speaks the words of God.’
Do you not understand these things or do you not yet know the voice of the Spirit?
October 26, 2018 at 11:54 am#835165ProclaimerParticipantDid you doubt that the Holy Spirit that spoke through Jesus Christ was before Abraham?
Did you doubt that it was Jesus Christ speaking only that which was in accordance with God’s will? It seems you doubt. You also doubt that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. You say Jesus was not born the Christ. Your teaching is your own and comes from your own understanding. We believe the scriptures Nick.
October 26, 2018 at 12:52 pm#835167NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
So you say.
But you block your ears.
October 26, 2018 at 7:44 pm#835173NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
So anxious.
So much needing to be in control.
So frightened of change but then how can we hear the Spirit?
If we live in the Spirit let us also walk in the Spirit.gal5.25
October 27, 2018 at 10:30 am#835179AnthonyParticipantHi Jodi . You said;
The Word of God that contained Jesus the CHRIST and eternal life did exist.
How can a Word cntaine Jesus Christ? The Word is this the voice of the Father? So the voice of the Fathr’s words became Jesus Christ? Was still all things created through the Son before the world was?being the firstborn of all creation. God bless.
October 27, 2018 at 3:52 pm#835182ProclaimerParticipantBut you block your ears.
I understand what you are saying, but scripture says otherwise. Thus I discount what you teach, rather than block my ears.
Your leaven is opposite and not what scripture teaches us. Jesus was born the Christ, thus Jesus Christ came in the flesh. Your confession is to deny Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
October 27, 2018 at 3:55 pm#835183ProclaimerParticipantHi T8,

This message is for you Nick. Apply it to yourself because you can change yourself. When you have changed, then you will be able to help others to change too. That would be a win win situation.
October 27, 2018 at 4:28 pm#835184NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
Literal understanding has never been the key to understanding the spiritual Word.
But dig yourself in and defend your shallow views though few believe you.
October 27, 2018 at 5:14 pm#835185NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
Jesus Christ has come in the flesh.
Yes the long promised messiah has come.
But you should not apply rudimentary logic and say this implies an anointed man existed before being born.
October 27, 2018 at 5:47 pm#835186ProclaimerParticipantBut when Jesus came in the flesh, you deny he was the Christ.
October 27, 2018 at 6:28 pm#835187NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Again you presume scripture to mean he was already anointed before he was born.
PRESUMPTION is an alternative to faith.
October 27, 2018 at 8:49 pm#835188ProclaimerParticipantI don’t presume anything from my own understanding. I simply believe this to be true and it drives you nuts.
Luke 2:11
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.Matthew 1:18
This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph,2 John 1:7
I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. You deny all three scriptures as they are written. Instead you contend that you have this spirit that helps you to see that Jesus was not born the messiah, that Jesus the messiah was not born in Bethlehem when Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, and that you not believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh because you teach that Jesus was born in the flesh, but Jesus Christ was not born the day he came in the flesh. Thus, when he came in the flesh, he was not Jesus Christ in your view.
I don’t think anyone is convinced so it is only yourself you are hurting. Although, I think Gene pretty much aligns with you on this already. You and Gene seem to believe a lot in common. He has taught you many things?
October 27, 2018 at 8:54 pm#835189NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
No your misunderstood scriptures do not upset me.
But it is sad to see someone with your experience still walking in your own lights.
Dig deeper
October 27, 2018 at 9:00 pm#835190ProclaimerParticipantSo if I dig deeper, then this becomes that?
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
When Jesus died, a Savior was born to you, and when Jesus was 30 or so, he became the Messiah, at the Jordan? And he became Lord too, but too hard to pin an exact date on that, but definitely not when he came in the flesh in Bethlehem when he was born.
Um, no Nick. It doesn’t become that when you dig deeper. Who are you trying to kid? You are just plain wrong and pride is blocking the way for you to see clearly.
This digging in your heels and denying what is clearly written is folly.
October 27, 2018 at 9:14 pm#835191NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
The Spirit wrote it through men.
You do need the Spirit to understand it.
Using literal thinking with logic leads to confusion.
Some even come to think Jesus is a god who came to earth.
Or, like the Jehovah’s Witness idea, that the Son of God was an angel.
Imagine such folly?
October 27, 2018 at 9:17 pm#835192NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
Since you can judge others for pride you must be awash with humility.
Good for you.
