Edj…..we have been through this before, the word freewill there means in Hebrew to ” Volunteer, there is no word in hebrew as “freewill” in the Hebrew language, it”s simply a person who out of their own desire does something. I do believe we have “freedom” to exercise our desires or Wills, but that is not talking about how the will “itself” works, within us, Another words what is “causing those desires in us?

Hilarious. Because if you believed there was no free will, then we wouldn’t have the choice to understand it or not. And you would not be perplexed about us. But obviously you do not rely even on your own theory as to the explanation. You appear to not have that much faith in it otherwise that would be your understanding as to why we do not believe or understand as you say it.

Carmel…..Isa 42 , is a prophetic statement about what God was going to do, not what he was already doing. How Can you “Behold” Something that hasn’t happened yet? I don’t kown anyone who doesn’t know that.
Like I said you seem unable to even give a single scripture without changing something about it. I really don’t see where you get off calling others CARNEL, when you don’t know a prophetic statement from a non prophetic one.

But here is one quote in Luke from Isa 61:1 that Jesus quoted and I also, believe backs up what I meant,
Luke 4:18, “the spirit of the LORD is “upon” me, ( why) , because he (God) has “anointed” me, to preach the Gospel to the poor, he sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to “the “CAPTIVES ” , and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are brused, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. ”
It might help you to read Isa 61:1 all the way through verse 11.

Gene. A beast has a nature and it does what that nature wants. But God ways are the highest and those born of him are obviously higher than any beast. We can choose, and this is no more exemplified than God putting two trees in the garden right at the beginning and then giving us instruction.
And as Adam and Eve were responsible for their decisions, so are we. Because we are not beasts.
God doesn’t hold a dog accountable for committing adultery. He doesn’t rebuke a lion for killing another lion.

Of course us receiving God’s divine nature doesn’t make us GOD,
