The GLORY of Jesus is that of which a SON of Man, of the fruit of David’s loins RECEIVED
Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them,Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Acts 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. 9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
It could not be MORE CLEAR by the prophet Isaiah,
Jesus did not create heaven and earth.
Jesus is of the people who God created giving them the breath of life and a spirit to walk therein.
Jesus was CALLED to righteousness to be a covenant for his brethren and God would not give of His GLORY to any other of the people.
This was God’s WORD to be fulfilled in the future being made flesh in one who is of the people.
April 7, 2019 at 3:38 pm#844653JodiParticipantThe GLORY of Jesus was spoken by the prophets, a man to suffer and die but then be resurrected and receive a portion with the great.
Luke 2425 Then he said unto them,O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; BECAUSE he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
April 7, 2019 at 4:29 pm#844654JodiParticipantHi Carmel,
Gene: the words I am telling you are “not my words”, but the words of him who sent me.
John 14:24 ….. The word which you hear, is “NOT” mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
YOU: Now can you see the difference, between the two?
ME: There is NO difference,
The words that Jesus said that they HEAR, is the SAME as the words that Jesus was TELLING them, and they are NOT his words, but the Father’s.
READ carefully Carmel,
John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him,Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God:
John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them,Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
Carmel, Jesus is the Son of Man an offspring of David, a Son of God ACCORDING TO the Holy Spirit that God rested upon him at the river Jordan, and then again when He resurrected him from the dead and made him an ETERNAL Son of God raising him incorruptible having his flesh not see decay but have it given life again.
He is your judge because God Spirit is upon him, otherwise he could do nothing himself. He does NOT SEEK his OWN will. When the Son of Man returns among the clouds he is returning to continue fulfilling God’s will. He is returning to fulfill God’s WORD that had been WITH God before God made the world by HIS OWN HANDS.
1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, BY MAN came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Psalms 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
SEE Carmel, Jesus is NOTHING without his God, without God’s Spirit he would be an ordinary man, with God’s Spirit he is a Son of God who had been made perfect, and by such he became the firstborn of the dead of many brethren.
Such was God’s word given to David, “26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.” “O LORD God, turn not away the face of thine anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant.” “And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.”

You demand answers and you go off on rants.
Communication is difficult for both you and Jodi.It is because you will not allow me to examine your view
from my perspective. I’m selective where my pearls go.
If you refuse to seek reconciliation, you get no pearls.“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine,
lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” (Matthew 7:6)I will not allow either of you to trample me! Stay fixated in your pride
if you must. Or discuss the matter with me if you choose. Your choice.Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD” (Isaiah 1:18)
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword:
for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” (Isaiah 1:19-20)____________

I come back and still see you still can’t take the truth you should listen to what TC and Carmel are tell you.you really can’t see truth on this matter, it’s like you speak scripture backwards. It just not your time, you just not the call and few. He hasn’t taken the blinders off yet.

Stick around Anthony, you are not done here
April 7, 2019 at 8:30 pm#844658Ed JParticipantT8 has learned a lot from me here. It is not that he has learned a lot of Theology from me.
As most of what he believes I agree with. But instead he has learned how to fight,
as he is a warrior. That is what I have taught him. How to fight the enemy.
The enemy pops up a lot, sometimes he even comes in your friends.“Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle?
I would go through them, I would burn them together. 5 Or let him take hold of
my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.”

Ed JApril 7, 2019 at 8:34 pm#844659carmelParticipantHi Jodi:
YOU: Hi Carmel,
Gene: the words I am telling you are “not my words”, but the words of him who sent me.
John 14:24 ….. The word which you hear, is “NOT” mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
YOU: Now can you see the difference, between the two?
ME: There is NO difference,
Now, Jodi, I RPEPAT what I said to Gene So: to my point!
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him: If anyone love me, he will keep
MY WORD ( SINGULAR with the possessive pronoun)……
24He that loveth me not keepeth not
MY WORDS.(PLURAL with the possessive pronoun)……
THE WORD ( SINGULAR with the article) which you have heard is NOT MINE, but the FATHER’S who sent me.
John15:7 If you abide in me and
MY WORDS( PLURAL with the possessive pronoun)abide in you, …….
John 15:20 Remember MY WORD (SINGULAR with the possessive pronoun) that I said to you: ……If they have kept
MY WORD, (SINGULAR with the possessive pronoun) they will keep yours also.
Jodi, As you can read Jesus used the singular, plural, the article THE, and the possessive pronoun MY, as He seems FIT in relation to His different messages! NO? I don’t believe that John wrote this particular and vital scripture related to “THE WORD” in such MODE for nothing? DO YOU?
Have a go Jodi, and explain in your own understanding what are the actual different messages Jesus had in mind. ESPECIALLY the one which Gene produced corrupted.
Peace and Love in Jesus Christ

They will not understand your speech. They are of a different spirit.April 7, 2019 at 11:52 pm#844666TruthcomberParticipantHey Ed, I feel the same way you do—giving our pearls to swine, namely the gold dust twins.
April 7, 2019 at 11:53 pm#844667TruthcomberParticipantJodi,
We went all over this before. You present a lot of smoke but no fire.April 8, 2019 at 12:04 am#844668TruthcomberParticipantJohn 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Matt 23:8 (NKJV) But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, ]the Christ, and you are all brethren. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for ONE is your Teacher, the Christ.
Me: So let us see. Let the scriptures interpret the scriptures.
Luke 24:39 (NKJV) “Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.
Me: At this point Christ had not ascended into heaven to be glorified by his father.
1 Cor 15:45 (NKJV) And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit…49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
Me: At this point Christ is a spirit that reveals himself in a body of the spirit.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Me: The Word is the spirit of truth.
John 14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Me: Who is this spirit? It is the spirit of God. And Christ is that spirit and teacher.
Matt 23:10 do not be called teachers; for ONE is your Teacher, the Christ.
Me: We have only one teacher. The Word without the seed of David was that teacher in the OT.
John 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Me: God gives his words to the Word of God, who is Christ, who then shows it to us. Notice, it is WE will come.

You: Truthcomber. ….you couldn’t be more wrong even if you tried , Jesus had a God and it was not himself. He clearly said, I am going to “my” God and “your” God, “my Father, and “your” Father, even a simpleton should know he was not the “only” God he was going to. You make all kinds of word studies , but are unable to understand what ” my” and “your” or “you ” mean. why not go and learn what those words mean before you take them out of your renditions. Really I believe I am debating with completely blinded people, that can L t even get simple thing straight, much less defficult ones.
Me: Gene, you are true to your MO. You present one scripture and do not let other scriptures into view. You disregard and do not answer the scriptures I and others presented. Then you bring up the same error as if it was not discussed as if this is the first time it is discussed. Thus, you disregard all the scriptures and thoughts that were presented to you.
For example,
Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. 7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. 8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God (the Messiah) even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.Me: You presented the doctrine that Christ was made a little lower than angels. Christ was resurrected from the dead and then glorified as the Son of God so much higher than the angels. The original Hebrew in Psalm 8:5 shows that he was made “a little lower than God” after his ascension into heaven. So too will we. Yes, Christ had his father as his God. That doesn’t mean he is not God as Heb 1:5-8 above attests to.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name (Judges 13:8 unknown now) shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Me: The Father and Son have the same name that is unknown now because we cannot comprehend it now. A name characterizes a person.
April 8, 2019 at 12:13 am#844670TruthcomberParticipantHi All,
I will take a little hiatus now–maybe a long one. I have a lot of interesting biblical things I want to investigate and have no time to answer Gene’s and Jodi’s nonsense.
April 8, 2019 at 3:08 am#844673GeneBalthropParticipantJodi…..they simply are unable to understand it, they come up with all these thing to circumvent the simple truth, using all kinds of so-called “SpicaL knowledge” that changes and corrupts even simple scriptures forcing text to say what in fact the do not say, or even hint at, trying to pass themselves of as enlightened ones, when in fact they are blind and have all fallen into the ditch.
Anyway that not our problem we have testified to them the truth of God as we see it, and I believe our way is the true way even though the “many” believe their way. They are definitely in the majority of all christendom.
Peace and love to you and yours. ………gene
April 8, 2019 at 4:04 am#844674carmelParticipantYOU: READ carefully Carmel,
John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
Jodi, It’s your turn to READ carefully NOW!
Jodi, You produced two verses from the last paragrph in John 3:31:36 but in your blindness, unless you deliberately left out the specific paragraph, you didn’t realized that it CLEARLY declares that Jesus pr-existed, and He was from ABOVE and defintiely
NOT AN ORDINARY MAN OF THE EARTH, despite He was born A son of David, Thus he definitely was AN EXTRAORDINARY MAN DIVINE AND PRE-EXISTED AS ETERNAL LIFE ITSELF, PRECISELY FROM THE VERY BEGINNING IN LUCIFER’S HEART, THE LIGHT BRINGER, THE MORNING STAR.
Now Read:
John 3:31 He that cometh from
ABOVE IS ABOVE ALL. He that is of the earth, of the earth he is, and of the earth he SPEAKETH. He that cometh from
HEAVEN IS ABOVE ALL. 32And what he
HATH SEEN AND HEARD , ( DEFINITELY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF THE WORLD, slain like a lamb from the beginning of the world. Rev.13:8 )THAT HE TESTIFIETH: and no man receiveth his testimony. ( Like you Jodi and Gen I’m afraid, though you are in my prayers)
33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 34For he whom God hath sent
speaketh the words of God: for God
DOTH NOT GIVE THE SPIRIT BY MEASURE.
MAY I ASK. WHY God does not give THE SPIRIT by measure? OBVIOUS FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT :
THE WORDS OF GOD SPOKEN BY JESUS, AT THE SAME INSTANT ARE JESUS HIMSELF
“THE WORD” MADE FLESH. BUT AS SPIRIT! Confirmed by Jesus in
John 6:63 …….The WORDS that I have spoken to you are SPIRIT and LIFE. 64 But there are some of you that believe not…..(Like you Jodi and Gene I’m afaraid, though you are in my prayers)
35The Father loveth the Son: and he hath given all things into his hand. ( from the very beginning, SINCE ALL IN HIM, ALL BY HIM…NO? PRE-EXISTED)
36He that believeth in the Son hath life everlasting:( JESUS is ETERNAL LIFE ITSELF, AS A SPIRIT, THE FACT THAT IT’S
ALL IN HIM FROM THE VERY BEGINNING) but he that believeth not the Son ( NOT THE SON OF DAVID FOR SURE) shall not see life: but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Why, not the Son of David FOR SURE?
Read 1 Samuel 13:14…… The Lord hath sought him a man according to his OWN HEART:
Notice: A MAN according to GOD’S HEART.
The above is not a reference to David though it is. but A DIRECT REFERENCE TO “THE WORD” Jesus TO BE, precisely in David’s HEART, Jesus , THE MAN as a SPIRIT, embodied in David. The fact that David, Jesus TO BE, killed the giant Goliath symbolically Satan, although they were both so in the truth hidden as spirits)
Psalm 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5{6}Thou hast made him a little less than the angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour:
( THE FACT THAT FOR THE PLEASURE OF THE FATHER HE LOWERED HIMSELF FROM THE VERY BEGINNING IN LUCIFER’S HEART)
John1:1 In the beginning was the word:
In LUCIFER was “THE WORD”, Jesus TO BE

23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
THEN JESUS SAYS in the very next verse,
24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.
THEY are NOT his WORDS they are His Father’s words. Jesus is called a prophet for a reason Carmel, he is a messenger of God. Jesus says that the Spirit of God is upon him, that he has been anointed and he is SENT to preach God’s Gospel. Jesus not only speaks the Gospel, which was a covenant that Isaiah prophesied about, but he is also the word of the Gospel made flesh. He speaks of it and he is the one God ELECTED from the people to fulfill it.
All of you are so delusional, you refuse to believe Jesus’s own words and you clearly deny the prophets.
1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. 5 For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?
The person appointed heir of all things, receiving an inheritance is a Son of Man, go READ Psalm 8 and Isaiah 53 and APPLY it.
The Son of Man who remained without sin even unto his death is the brightness of God’s glory and is the image of God. Recall in Genesis God made man in His own image, such was God’s word of which He created heaven and earth through, it was a promise, an everlasting covenant of which would occur through a Son of Man named Jesus. The END was established before the beginning, the first Adam was the beginning of which we all are of, the END is the Last Adam, a perfected man given eternal life, of which we are all to be of.
In these last days spoken to us by His Son, WHO spoke to them, who performed signs and miracles, and how was it he was able to speak God’s word and perform such signs and miracles. go READ Acts 10, Luke 4, John 3: 34, Isaiah 11, 42, and 61.
Who is said to sit at God’s right hand? The Son of Man does.
THEN in VERSE 5 we read what was a prophecy given to David concerning his own flesh and blood, his SPERMA. Jesus is the Son of God according to a PROMISE given to David, he is a Son of God ACCORDING to the Holy Spirit, an eternal Son of God by him being raised from the dead made incorruptible. A Son of Man had been BORN of God’s Spirit, first you have the son of David, THEN you have him being BORN of God. Then you have him being SENT out into the world, having received God’s Spirit resting upon him he is able by such to speak God’s word and fulfill God’s word as God had called him to righteousness and would hold his hand and keep him for a covenant, where he would be perfected and die for our sins. Then he is DEAD, he ceases to exist. Then he is resurrected from the dead given LIFE again, made an eternal Son of God, according to God’s Holy Spirit. Such is exactly what God promised David’s son, and we are then told directly in Acts, Romans, and in Ephesians just exactly who the Son of God is,
13:33 God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.‘ 34 And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: ‘I will give you the sure mercies of David.’
2:30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,
1:1 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God 2 which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
Jesus is NOT a Son of God by any other reason than he was of a PROMISE given to David concerning David’s own offspring.
Jesus is NOT a Son of God by any other reason in that he was a Son of Man BORN of God’s Holy Spirit, and because he was resurrected from the dead made incorruptible he is an eternal Son of God.
The VERY UNITY of our FAITH is to know that the Son of God equates to a PERFECT HUMAN BEING established through the fullness of being ANOINTED with God’s Spirit. ANYTHING said against this simple truth is PURE ANTICHRIST.
CHRIST is the Son of Man BORN of God’s Spirit, the Spirit of Christ is God’s Spirit dwelling in the spirit of a man, making him into an eternal perfect man, ALSO known as a LAST ADAM, of which we too are to be of.
April 8, 2019 at 5:22 am#844677JodiParticipantCarmel,
You only responded to that one verse, of which I just showed you that you are in major error, you ignore the verse right after where Jesus tells you directly where HIS WORDS are coming from, which is not from himself but from his Father. You did not respond to my scriptures that tell you that Jesus says ONLY God is GOOD, and Jesus can do nothing of himself, he does that which the Father teaches him. Jesus knew that without God’s Spirit having visited him and remaining in him, resting on him, being upon him, that he would be nothing but an ORDINARY MAN.
Why don’t you discuss Isaiah, tell me what Isaiah 11, 42, and 61 says.
Carmel, READ Luke 4 and Acts 10, Jesus was anointed and sent out speaking God’s word BEGINNING in Galilee, he said he was the BREAD from heaven and that bread was his FLESH. Jesus was the anointed flesh sent out into the world preaching God’s Gospel, the covenant of God’s word given to Isaiah concerning human flesh of the seed of David.
You DENY that Jesus said that he came NOT of his OWN will. When Jesus was SENT, and by me saying that I am speaking according to Jesus’s OWN words of WHEN he says that he was SENT, which was after the Spirit descended upon him like a dove, and then he was tested to prove his faith in following God’s will, he was then SENT from heaven meaning FROM GOD to perform not his own will but God’s will.
It is just sickening when people take verses that apply directly to Jesus of Nazareth, the son of David and say they apply not to him, but to him before he was born, such is pure antichrist. If you are going to apply something prior to the life of Jesus on earth APPLY the prophecies that were written about him.
Carmel, VERY SIMPLE,
If Jesus, and when I say Jesus I am speaking specifically of JESUS born of Mary according to WHEN Jesus says he was SENT, did not COME to the people by his OWN WILL, but HE CAME OF God’s will, then JESUS CAME to the people from God from heaven.
CAN YOU COMPREHEND THAT?????????????????
You twist the scripture as if you have NO KNOWLEDGE of God’s word in so many passages.
31 He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.
Carmel, when Jesus spoke in Luke 4 quoting Isaiah and saying the Spirit was upon him, that he had been anointed to preach God’s word, to be SENT out to perform signs and miracles, it is he that was from above, he (the anointed with God’s Spirit JESUS OF NAZARETH) came to the people being SENT according to God’s will. Such is how he (the anointed with God’s Spirit JESUS OF NAZARETH) is said to have come FROM above and is above all, as he is the bread of heaven which was his anointed flesh, that would be perfected giving us eternal life through his shed blood on the cross.
EXACTLY WHY John says after verse 31,
34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.
WHOSE hands? The Son of Man, just as was prophesied. WHOSE hands? Jesus of Nazareth who God’s Spirit rested upon him like no other man, WITHOUT MEASURE, just as was prophesied where God had said that He would not give His glory to any other.
You have a MAJOR problem Carmel, you don’t give understanding to a passage according to another passage even in the same chapter, let alone other verses from other chapters, you even disregard entire chapters of the words from the prophets.
You have a MAJOR problem as do others, where you take passages specifically speaking of Jesus and say it applies NOT to him, but to who you believe he was before. Gene and I are not in error when we apply a verse specifically to who it says it is speaking of. Then we use prophecy to PROVE it, we likewise declare that the END was established before the beginning just as God tells us, which also PROVES that which we say is TRUE.
You do not acknowledge the clear END that we are given, which is that Jesus is the Last Adam, he is the Son of Man sitting at God’s right hand who God gave dominion over all the works of His hands to, He gave him the mercies of David as was promised, and he is the Son of Man returning to make us of the Last Adam as he is, being raised up/changed receiving a body of glory, of power, that is incorruptible just as he was raised up into. This END was established BEFORE the beginning, all things were made through and for this END, God would not have made anything if it were not for THIS END where God will be all in all.
April 8, 2019 at 6:53 am#844678JodiParticipantHi Carmel,
In John 6 Jesus is speaking of his sacrifice, his death. He is going to die and then ascend from the grave and appear on earth where he was before, where he reveals himself in his glory having been raised from the dead with power and incorruptible flesh, showing them that he is of flesh and bones. He is raised up to life by God through God’s Spirit, and he is GIVEN of God’s Spirit once again, this TIME to never see death again, which was a promise given to David.
John 6:62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Acts 2:30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
Romans 1:1 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God 2 which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
YOU:
MAY I ASK. WHY God does not give THE SPIRIT by measure? OBVIOUS FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT :
THE WORDS OF GOD SPOKEN BY JESUS, AT THE SAME INSTANT ARE JESUS HIMSELF
“THE WORD” MADE FLESH. BUT AS SPIRIT!
ME: I see you are using your own reasoning instead of God’s word spoken by the prophet Isaiah. TRULY BAD FORM CARMEL!! Your words above show that you truly know NOTHING. You have absolutely NO idea who the anointed one is.
WHY does God GIVE Jesus the Spirit without measure? GO READ Isaiah 11, 42, and 61. It was a CALL to righteousness where God would hold his hand and KEEP him for a covenant for the people, even a light for the Gentiles. Jesus receives The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. 3 His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; 4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
God gave Jesus the Spirit without measure because that was necessary for Jesus to be able to fulfill the covenant. If he didn’t receive of the Spirit he would not have been perfected and thus able to die for our sins.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
FACT what Isaiah prophesied in chapters 11, 42, and 61 God’s Word BECAME FLESH in Jesus of Nazareth, God’s word existed in the flesh of Jesus, just as was promised, where God would hold Jesus’s hands and keep his FLESH from sin, making him a covenant for the people. When the Spirit rested upon Jesus the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, of Knowledge, of Council and Might, of fear of the LORD, Jesus was SENT out and the people beheld his glory, he was FULL of grace and truth having been made FULL of God’s Spirit, he was the ONLY mortal to have been BORN of God’s Spirit without measure.
I am applying God’s word, God’s promises, I believe in the covenant that God established before the world was, of which He created the world through, which was according to a Son of Man of the offspring of Jesse who God would CALL to righteousness resting His Spirit upon him.
YOU:
“THE WORD” MADE FLESH. BUT AS SPIRIT! Confirmed by Jesus in
John 6:63 …….The WORDS that I have spoken to you are SPIRIT and LIFE. 64 But there are some of you that believe not…..(Like you Jodi and Gene I’m afaraid, though you are in my prayers)
ME: The words that Jesus spoke in John 6 are of the covenant, FLESH being anointed with God’s Spirit, being perfected to be a sacrifice for the people.
Matthew 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.”
There was no sending of a pre-existing son of God. The Son of Man who was anointed with God’s spirit had come to the people to serve and give his life for a ransom.
What does Jesus say prior in John 6 BEFORE verse 63 Carmel,
27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”
What was that SEAL God the Father set on the Son of Man???
The promises spoken by the prophet Isaiah of course, which was that God CALLED the root of Jesse (a Son of Man) to righteousness where He would hold his hand and keep him for a covenant for the people, sacrifice him and then raise him from the dead giving him as Isaiah says in chapter 53, a portion among the great, as David says in Psalms 8, dominion over all the works of God’s hands.
It’s like you have no clue Carmel, you do not need to pray for me, lol. YOU are NOT a MINISTER of the new covenant, your are clueless of it.
2 Corinthians 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death….5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. ..9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Jesus was anointed with God’s Spirit, GO READ Isaiah 11, 42, 61, it was a calling to righteousness. Only God is good remember Carmel, Jesus needed a calling, he needed God’s Spirit in him to do the works of God, to deny his own will and his own weak mortal flesh. The Spirit brought Jesus into being a perfected man, he was righteous, he never failed God. We are counted as righteous through our faith in the anointing of Jesus that made him perfect, if we believe that God through His Spirit perfected Jesus, we too are promised to receive the Spirit that makes us perfect, no longer able to sin, and thus also death is destroyed for us and we too have eternal life.
John 10: 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall He not with him also freely give us all things?
The IMAGE of God’s Son Carmel is the Son of Man who was perfected and given eternal life. The IMAGE of God’s Son is that of a firstborn just as God promised to David.
Psalms 89:27 Also I will make him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth.
