Terricca…………It does not say “LIKE” me there , it simply say there is NO other God Period. It even say he looked for one and found “NONE”. If he found none then there can't be another, true God, so All other gods are False God if there is only one “TRUE” God right? Anything can be a God to a person even there car they can worship but does that make it a true God? no it doesn't , except to the person who believe it is, but we know it is not a true god at all, just a figment of that person imagination.
There are millions of these So_called Gods, but none of them are true Gods at all, they are false gods made up in the minds of false teachers who teach and preach them. Jesus said “for you are the “ONLY” “TRUE” GOD now saying ONLY TRUE, that means there are NO OTHER “TRUE” GOD'S, so all other have to be “FALSE” Gods. Just that simple. IMO

It is true that our understanding changes as we become more and more into the truth of God's word ,this should be a natural way ,providing we make the truth of God the prime target of our life,
and so understand that ;the truth in a verse ,may not be the truth in the chapter ,and in return it could not be the truth in view of the whole scriptures what is the full truth ; Jn 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
so the truth are the words of God ,but all written text are they not the words of God ,I do not think so because their history ,of event and those are records taken by man ,of God ,for future generations,
so we have to look and understand which are the words of God and so understand the will of God
ISA 55:11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;

Remember the former things, of old: for I am “GOD”, and “THERE IS “NONE ELSE”; I AM God, and there is none LIKE ME. Notice it does “NOT” say, ” I Am ( A) God , meaning there are more Gods, but it say I am GOD “AND” THERE IS “NONE ELSE”. Now would like me to quote all the others we have quoted directly over and over here for you that back that up? Like these
Isa 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else there is “NO” God BESIDES ME: I girded you, though you have not known me.
Here is some more for you to read, Isa 45:14 notice how he end that verse saying surely God is in you;and there is none else, there is NO God. Also read Isa 45:21,22. I could go on and on but it is a waste of my time to even try to deal with you or Mikes ignorance of clear written scriptures , you are here for only one reason Pierre and that is to cause “confusion and division ” You have absolutely no desire for the truth of Gods words at all. so you are not to refuse truth from scriptures ,or be selective believer, this type of faith is like being not cold nor hot ,
