The scripture also says,

GEN 3:15 † And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Don't take my word for it.  Check out all the bible interpretations.
Use your concordance and look these words up.  enmity (Hatred),  seed (offspring, children)

You think you are fighting against me, you are not.  This is His Word and it is 'Thus Saith The Lord'

This is just one of the minor truths that has been revealed in this last day to make His people one with Him.

Marlin1…….They do not understand that Satan is a Adveserial “Spiirit”, they think Satan is a Person. They do not understand the metaphoric language used in scripture. Some actually think Wisdom is a real women becasue it is called a She in scripture and even some think wisdom is Jesus. Some even believe where Jesus said they were of their father the devil the actually believe Satan Fathered them. Perdonification of Sprits in scripture is used all over the place as a Mataphoric expression. In fact not understand this is the source of much confusion with reuards to scriptures. IMO

WHY BRING SCRIPTURES INTO THE SUBJECT THAT DOES NOT FIT???

Gen 4:1 And Adam KNEW Eve his wife; and she CONCEIVED, and bare Cain, and said, “I have gotten a man from the LORD”

She conceived when she knew Adam, not the serpent, she got a man from the LORD, not the serpent.

If you are going to look at any other scriptures then look at when Jesus told the people of His day that they were of their father, (as stated before, but ignored) the devil.

You really don't have a handle on the seed issue. You have been taught something that you have to insert scriptures that don't agree, or support what you believe, and other scriptures that do agree and support that which you don't believe will support it and confuses the whole thing for you.

In Revelations serpent seems to be use as meaning the same as satan.

But most passages of scripture use the word serpent to refer to a SNAKE, which is what he was turned into after the curse (3:14)  
This serpent in Genesis is a beast of the field before the curse.(3:14) and this serpent had a SEED (offspring) 3:15.  
This serpent had legs and God toke them with the curse. 3:14. And it became a snake.  

It was still not the satan, it was satan's wisdom in this serpent.  
satan is not a creater, the only way he had to come into mankind was through the serpent.

You tell me that I don't have a handle on the seed issue,  when I gave you the scriptures and you just won't accept them.

Before Adam knew Eve, the serpent new Eve.  That is what the forbidden fruit is.  

If you want to ignore the scriptures for what you have been taught, that is up to you.  Don't just say that I am wrong and I don't have a handle on it.

I gave you a lot of scriptures and the evidence is overwhelming.

All you keep saying is Gen 4, that Adam knew his wife and she had Cain, a man from the Lord.
Before Adam knew his wife, the serpent knew his wife.  And of course she got a man from the Lord, ALL LIFE COMES FROM THE LORD.  

When a man makes a woman pregnant, Is the man the creator or is it the LORD?

Marlin, Genesis 3:14 does not say that.  You are not being clear.  Who was turned into a snake, are you suggesting the serpent?  Serpent and snake mean the same thing.  How can a snake turn into a snake?  

This is what genesis says.

You cannot twist Genesis 3:14 to say what they have taught you. Their doctrine has holes in it.  I can read for myself Marlin, and you should be able to discern as well. You cannot use this scripture as proof. It does not say what you are saying. You are adding extra. You can give other scriptures to make your point, yes, but not this one. It is not evidence, and has to be thrown out of court.

Look at this scripture.

God is talking to the King of Tyre.  Satan was in him.  God is speaking directly to Satan.

Paul told us that we should rightly divide the Word to truth. Rightly dividing would surely include knowing what scriptures fit into a particular subject or not. He also told Timothy to “consider what I say and the Lord will give you understanding in all things”.

When the scriptures don't give you understanding, just a lot of wisdom then you can get puffed up with knowledge but not understand what you know.

Sometimes we need a foundation in order to build other subjects, thoughts and knowledge upon. Sometimes we get an understanding on a subject and it will enforce the foundation.
So knowledge can build a foundation or it can only be supported by the foundation if it is with understanding. It can go either way, but they must agree and fit with understanding.

I have been in airplanes, but do not understand how to fly one. I know how they get off the ground and stay afloat, but you need some one with understand how to fly and control it when it goes wrong.
In other words you can't control and operate in anything that you don't have an understanding in. You might fake it for a while, but sooner or later you knowledge will fail you because you have no understanding.

That is true what you say, but now you have to give more reasons why you say this. You are generalising, and you could be referring to anyone, even myself.

Give your reasons please why you state what you state, and please rebuke if you do not agree with anything, and give scriptures and explanations why just to make yourself clear.

Many have been in the dark now for too long, and many should know these things. Eg, who Zion is? Why God calls her his woman. Why was she travailing in labour, who is this man child that she gave birth to? Who is the remnant of her seed? Why is the dragon making war with that seed?
Who is the dragon?, and why is he mentioned as that old serpent and called The Devil and Satan?
Who was Satan originally?
and who was this cherub walking in the garden of eden with every precious stone as his covering?

Having knowledge is not being puffed up. We should all desire it, if we are interested in discerning the truth, we should never be ashamed but speak confidently to glorify our heavenly father, and his magnificence on how he plans and works so wonderfully.

The above is not entirely correct the way it is written.  Many today believe that they just need to follow Christ, the best they can.  Jesus said,

“MAT 7:22 † Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 † And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Unless a person is born again with the Spirit of God dwelling in their heart, they will NEVER EVEN see the kingdom of heaven.

Scripture is always correct, but our understanding is a lot of the time wrong.

It was not just a spiritual sin, our flesh is fallen.

All the scripture, from beginning to end is correct and must line up.

The scripture says, the sins of the father do not transfer to the son.  Adam and Eve's sin of unbelief would not transfer to the sons.  Yet we everyone are born sinners, because of the blood sin in the garden.

We have been talking about the flesh of man and now you have taken it to a spiritual side and are trying to show that is man. There is a spiritual side to everything, but you are trying to mix them.  Jesus was GOD, born a FLESH man and His mother was Mary.  And He was the seed of the woman spoken of in Genesis, the FLESH MAN JESUS.  Just like the seed of the serpent was a FLESH MAN (CAIN).

You want to make this all spiritual, but that in no way would cause man's flesh to be rotten.

The Seed of the woman was a man-child, (Jesus), apart from the man, then the seed of the serpent will have to be in the same pattern, and that is another male must be born apart from human male instrumentality.  The Christ, who came by the instrumentality of God, apart from human male.  And Cain, the seed of the serpent came the same way, apart from human male.

Revelation is written in symbolism and these scriptures you are trying to use as spiritual are also real events.  It was Rome that tried to kill Jesus, King Herod.  Pagan Romes fatal injury was healed and we got Papal Rome.

If you can see this it would make my heart rejoice. This is a prophecy of what was to come.   The WOMAN mentioned here is not EVE, but this woman here. Rev 12:1   And there appeared a great wonder IN HEAVEN,….A WOMAN clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. Rev 12:5   And she (the woman) brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. (…This is God's WOMAN, … ZION, God's Holy City, his kingdom, because it comes from HEAVEN, not earth. This woman gave birth.  Her first child was Jesus. Jesus is born of Zion. The WOMAN IS CARRYING OTHER CHILDREN, AND THEY WILL BE BORN IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION, BUT FIRST THE LABOUR PAINS MUST START BEFORE THEY ARE BORN….tribulation.).   Rev 12:17   And the DRAGON was wroth with THE WOMAN and went to make WAR with THE REMNANT OF HER SEED which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. This is THE WOMAN, prophesied about in Genesis. ZION,  God's spiritual City. (Satan's spiritual city is called Babylon the Great) God depicts Zion as a WOMAN, because a woman multiplies, and produces children.  Zion will produce many children, when she gives birth again (the First resurrection of the saints) God has put emnity between the Serpent (Satan), and the WOMANS SEED (followers of Jesus Christ) These two will never gel, they are always at spiritual war against each other.  One holy, belonging to God,  and the other in darkness, belonging to Satan's kingdom.  They not supposed to meld together, but against what the other believes and practises.. Gen 3:15  ……it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. The WOMAN shall bruise thy head….Satan's head was not destroyed, but BRUISED, when he was cast out of heaven after the resurrection, (shamed, demoted) …”and thou shalt bruise his heel”……Satan bruised Jesus heel when he caused him to be crucified.  This is a fact. This is obviously not talking about EVE, as the WOMAN.  This is prophecy.  Already fulfilled. Please come out of the darkness brother, for there is enough light for everybody while it still shines. Hi Richturner That is true what you say, but now you have to give more reasons why you say this.  You are generalising, and you could be referring to anyone, even myself. Give your reasons please why you state what you state, and please rebuke if you do not agree with anything, and give scriptures and explanations why just to make yourself clear. Many have been in the dark now for too long, and many should know these things.  Eg, who Zion is?  Why God calls her his woman.  Why was she travailing in labour, who is this man child that she gave birth to?  Who is the remnant of her seed?  Why is the dragon making war with that seed? Who is the dragon?, and why is he mentioned as that old serpent and called The Devil and Satan? Who was Satan originally? and who was this cherub walking in the garden of eden with every precious stone as his covering? Having knowledge is not being puffed up.  We should all desire it, if we are interested in discerning the truth, we should never be ashamed but speak confidently to glorify our heavenly father, and his magnificence on how he plans and works so wonderfully.
