Well the penny has finally dropped, but hasn’t hit the mark yet. Yes he came from above, had the nature of God, became flesh, was made Christ even as far back as the City of David. Is now in the glory he had with the Father before the universe that God created through and for him.

God made him Christ yes. I teach this. Am am I not the one who says he was Christ when he was born in the City of David? Whereas you say he became Christ at the Jordan.

This is English and it meaning is straight forward. Perhaps you could explain where our English translations erred with this verse. Certainly you do not believe this verse in English at least.

God created every thing through the channel of an act, for his purpose, not through a “preexisting ” being of somekind .

You have never heard me say Jesus is not the Christ,
Was Jesus the Christ in the City of David? If not, then that is one instance right there. The next question would be when he became the messiah according to you.

T8…..You have alway said Jesus preexisted as a being before Abraham , maybe not “born” as a human before him ,but prexisted before him. The only problem you don’t say in what way he did . Nick, there is one God who has always existed. Obviously, what I said is actually scripture that you can checkout for yourself. It also stands to reason that someone had to be first to be with God. Yes when I quote scripture it can be confusing. But scripture will renew the mind and will make things clearer. A good reason to not change scripture to suit own pet doctrines.

My guess is testing underwater simulates floating in zero gravity. Also, I imagine it prepares astronauts for existing in an environment that is life threatening and alien. I’m not sure pressure has anything to do with it.
