Hi t8,
Born without sin?
Can you show us where that is written
.
He calls himself an overcomer in rev 3 and scripture says he was tempted like us and never sinned.
James tells us temptation comes from within but you disagree and say he was born sinfree?
February 17, 2016 at 5:25 pm#809115NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
job 25 asks if anyone born of woman can be innocent.
Jesus was born of woman.
February 17, 2016 at 5:39 pm#809120ProclaimerParticipantWhile in the flesh, he never sinned Nick. That is what I a mean. He sinned not while in the flesh. In fact he never sinned before or after that. Sure he became sin for our sake, but he knew no sin himself.
2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.1 Peter 2:22
He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.1 John 3:5
You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.1 Peter 1:19
But with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.February 17, 2016 at 5:46 pm#809122NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
So another traditional teaching bites the dust.
Christmas is popular one.
February 17, 2016 at 5:48 pm#809125ProclaimerParticipantYes, Jesus was without sin.
You can start a topic about Christmas if there isn’t one already.
Put it in ‘Truth and Tradition’ I would say.
February 17, 2016 at 5:52 pm#809129NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Do you agree with him that he was an overcomer?
We can enjoy the benefits of his victory over sin without being too successful ourselves.
February 17, 2016 at 5:55 pm#809131ProclaimerParticipantNick, please stay on topic. This doesn’t seem to be on topic whatever it is you are getting at.
Thank you.
February 17, 2016 at 6:01 pm#809134NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Yes listening to the Spirit as Peter did is the priority for all who claim to be in the Church.
If you do not have the Spirit of Christ you are none of his.
February 17, 2016 at 6:11 pm#809137ProclaimerParticipantYes.
Next.
February 18, 2016 at 11:05 am#809210NickHassanParticipantHi ,
Jesus rejoiced that Peter had become like him, in touch with his Father and able to hear the Spirit.
That is the plan for everyone.
February 18, 2016 at 11:11 am#809211NickHassanParticipantHi,
Those that have ears that hear will also hear the Spirit in the scriptures.
February 19, 2016 at 4:55 am#809298GeneBalthropParticipantT8…WHAT NICK HAS SAID IS TRUE. GOD THE FATHERS “REAVEALING POWER”, IS THE “ROCK”, THAT JESUS BUILDES THE CHURCH ON, AND HE UNDERSTOOD THAT PETER HAD THAT REAVELING KNOWLEDGE FROM GOD THE FATHER IN HIM, THE SAME AS HE HAD, that is why Jesus said, “and i say “ALSO” unto you “Simon Barjona”, that you are “PETER”, THE “ALSO” meant Jesus had that same reavealing knowledge ABOUT Peter, that Peter had about him.
T8, go back and reread it, with that in mind, and you should clearly see it brother. If you have the spirit of truth abiding in you, it should show this to you clearly, IMO.
Peace and love to you and yours….gene
February 19, 2016 at 10:24 am#809311ProclaimerParticipantHi ,

True.
Hi,
Those that have ears that hear will also hear the Spirit in the scriptures.
True. And they won’t draw opposite conclusions to what the scripture says. Having the Spirit of God means you will be in agreement to the scriptures and messages of God. Not against them.
February 19, 2016 at 10:29 am#809312ProclaimerParticipantGOD THE FATHERS “REAVEALING POWER”, IS THE “ROCK”, THAT JESUS BUILDES THE CHURCH ON
You have already changed your mind at least once. You originally was saying that the Rock was God. But I pointed out that it doesn’t say THE Rock, but THIS Rock.
So now you have changed it to the ‘revealing power’ of God. Are you going to settle with that, or perhaps change the view again. Good to be open to change, I agree. But are there anymore changes in the pipeline? Possible or not?
February 20, 2016 at 1:08 pm#809379GeneBalthropParticipantT8…..The power of God to reaveal into our minds the truth about JESUS AND OTHER THINGS, IS THE POWER THAT JESUS USES TO BUILD THE CHURCH ON, IT’S STILL God the Father doing it. HOW DO YOU SEPERATE GOD FRON HIS SPIRITUAL POWERS. JESUS said that God was spirit, and you believe his power is seperate thing then he is. GOD THE FATHER HIMSELF IS THE ONLY ROCK THERE IS, There is NO OTHER ROCK ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES I HAVE QUOTED HERE ALREADY.
YOUR WORDS ARE AGAINST THOSE SCRIPTURES, why are you trying so hard to devide what i have written, hunting for straws T8, TO HINDER THE TRUTH? WHY CAN’T YOU JUST SIMPLY AGREE WITH THE TRUTH, WOULD BE MY QUESTION TO YOU?
peace and love to you and yours. …….gene
February 20, 2016 at 6:01 pm#809386Ed JParticipantT8….I know you do not realize it but you are doing eactly what you accuse us of. You seening this just like Satan wants you to, the way most all Christendom sees it.
Hi Gene,
Do you believe satan exists? …because you didn’t use to
February 23, 2016 at 7:11 am#809504NickHassanParticipantHi,
For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
So speaks the Spirit for those with ears that hear.
February 25, 2016 at 12:18 pm#809624ProclaimerParticipantT8…..The power of God to reaveal into our minds the truth about JESUS AND OTHER THINGS, IS THE POWER THAT JESUS USES TO BUILD THE CHURCH ON, IT’S STILL God the Father doing it.
So you have changed your mind from God to the power of God.
HOW DO YOU SEPERATE GOD FRON HIS SPIRITUAL POWERS.
One is of God, the other is God.
If there is no difference to you, then you would also accept that Jesus being the son of God and the messiah as that rock because that is the truth of God.
February 27, 2016 at 7:53 am#809735NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
You may find all sorts of rocks of truth in scripture.
But being true to the context it is hearing the Spirit that Jesus called the rock the church was to be built on.
And that is why it is true that if you do not have the Spirit of Christ you are none of his.
February 28, 2016 at 2:44 pm#809761ProclaimerParticipantAt least we can agree that it was not God himself that was being referred to in that context. Even Gene changed his mind which is good in the sense that he can change his mind. And Nick agreed with Gene in the end, as well as Lightenup on another matter. It may or may not be right, but in the least, some are in agreement.
God may be THE Rock, but was not THIS rock.
I think further debate on this will not accomplish much. We have all been given the information, and our shared our opinions, so what we draw from that is up to us.
Unless of course someone has something new to add that we may benefit from.
Otherwise we will just be repeating our conclusions for the rest of our days.
Like I said, further evidence would be good and look forward to it if you have it.
