http://www.holycitybiblecode.orgNovember 29, 2012 at 7:30 am#322593Marlin1ParticipantBrothers, I can certainly see why Jesus said this.
I have added words in CAPS.
MAT 16:17 † And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed ,[TAUGHT], it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven, [HAS REVEALED IT TO YOU].God Himself became Flesh and dwelt among us. It seems that some of you think for God to become Flesh would require Him to no longer be SPIRIT.
God's own law required a blood sacrifice for sin. Yet God almighty could not die and shed blood, for He was and is a SPIRIT.
So God's Great Thoughts went out from Him as the LOGOS (the Word), that Word He called the Son of God.
That same LOGOS, (Word), God in His Son-ship became FLESH with the birth of Jesus.
This was not another God as some think, it was God projecting His self so as to become a saviour for mankind.
It was a revelation then who Christ was and it still has to be revealed by God today.
And Jesus went on to say, upon this revelation I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Brother Pierre,
If your master tells you to do something in remembrance of Him, Do you do it because it is a law or because you Love Him. Or do you just ignore Him
If you serve God because it is a law then you are still under the law.
Those that are His serve Him because they LOVE Him and OBEY what He ask them to do.If we don't then we prove we are not His at all.

m1but what about obeying these words of Christ ;
Jn 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
Jn 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”if you have the above you will practice the love in your heart,no doubts about it

PierreBrother Pierre,
Does it not prove that a man that will not obey His masters requests is NOT worshiping in SPIRIT or TRUTH.
Which then the Master says,
MAT 15:9 † But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. This means, that they TRULY WORSHIP HIM, but it is WASTED, because they do not keep HIS WORDS, but have their own words.
