Your questions are never to seek information but to lead to this threat?
Play your games if you must but you have so much to learn can you afford to?
Hi Nick,
You are always free to offer your greater opinion, but not
at the expense of refusing to answer defining questions.
Is your answer “No” because “I don’t know”, be clear.March 30, 2016 at 8:29 pm#811114Ed JParticipantHi Ed,
Clarifications are required.
Yes Nick,
My question was clearly defined, but your answer forces me to make assumptions.
And assumptions leads to arguing over misconceptions – something I will not do!So please be civil and answer my question clearly, OK?

If Jesus said this about John…
“Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist” (Luke 7:28)And John said this about Jesus…
“he that cometh after me is mightier than I”Would it not stand to reason that Jesus is greater that all the inhabitants of the world (a ref to Psalms 49:1-8)? y/n

Reason is not much use in interpreting scripture though many natural folk worship at her feet.
Please use spiritual language.

Quit with the speeches and answer the question.

You draw deductions from unrelated scriptures and form opinions.
Then you demand that we evaluate your opinions?
You may be a legend in your own mind.

If Jesus said this about John…
“Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist” (Luke 7:28)This is a misquote.
The whole sentence is:
Luke 7:28Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
Jesus was born of women but he is also next to the greatest in the kingdom of God. The later is more important than the earlier. John was not given the Spirit during his mortality.
Those with the Spirit are ordinary human beings.
1 Corinthians 1:26-29Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 that no flesh should glory in his presence.
Celebrate that God has taken an ordinary human and made him both Christ and King.

(2)John was not given the Spirit during his mortality.Hi Kerwin,
1) The bible says Jesus’ father was God(HolySpirit) and his mother – human. (ref. Matthew 1:18)
Jesus is “the spirit of Christ” born Human (Micah 5:2, Luke 1:35)
We are given Christ’s spirit at adoption. (Rom 8:15)
Born from the “Father of Spirits” (Heb.12:9)“WE will come unto him, and make OUR abode with him” (John 14:23, Rom.8:9)
Spirit of God – – – – – “Father of Spirits”
Spirit of Christ – – – – Jesus of Nazareth2) The bible says John was filled with the Holy Spirit from before birth. (ref. Luke 1:15)

Yes, Jesus is the Son of humanity as of his body and the Son of God as for the Spirit just as is testified in Romans 1:3-4.
Romans 1:3-4Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
3 concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
April 2, 2016 at 11:59 am#811218kerwinParticipantEd,
The Spirit only gave John the ability to speak the Word. It did not give him the ability to do the word for only Jesus has been given that ability without going through Jesus. All other human being must go through him to obtain the Spirit for he is the only way to God.

Hi Nick,
1) I just told you what it means: Jesus Christ is
“the spirit of Christ” born as a Human baby.

Ed JApril 2, 2016 at 10:34 pm#811236Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
I just told you what it means: Jesus Christ is
“the spirit of Christ” born as a Human baby.
(see references to Micah 5:2 & Luke 1:35)Hi Nick,
Since we have already examined Micah 5:2, which says this,
lets now examine Luke 1:35, which says this as well.“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost
shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:
therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35)I draw you attention to this part of the verse:
“that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God”The term here: “shall be” is a reference to – in due time he will be recognized as such.
NOT in thirty years from now he will become – that is a private interpretation of Prophecy.
(2Peter 1:20 warns us against making this type of an interpretation out of God’s prophetic word)________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Let me gives you eyes to see: I will paraphrase exactly what Luke’s words mean:
She was found with child of the HolySpirit, therefore the holy thing (the spirit of Christ)
which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. (–this is the context of Luke 1:35)For you to say: that he instead means 30 years down the road for this fellow, and also
the term “Son of God” also includes everyone else – is to take the verse OUT OF CONTEXT.
And worse yet, add your private interpretation of Prophecy to it. Is that point not clear to you?Is that point not clear to you? y/n
(remember “I don’t know” is also an acceptable answer)And as you see, you DON’T answer my questions, you just ignore them.
But never the less, they act as a laser beam focusing on your doctrinal belief.I hope I have made myself clear
