Talk about being between a rock and a hard place!
“For by Him [Jesus] were ALL things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible [unseen powers] , whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all things were created by Him, and for Him. And He is before all things and by Him all things consist [‘has its cohesion,’ ] “(Col. 1:16-17).
Since “by Jesus all things consist and have their cohesion,” why is it that only man and his fabled “free-moral-agency-will” is the only truly “free radical” in the universe? Nonsense! Even “free radicals” operate under law-God operates all that exists, by law. Jesus did not create the universe and all that in it is, and then goes off on a trip to let the universe fend for itself. God presently is “working-operating” all that exists, and that includes the “will” of all mankind. Here’s some more Scriptural proof:
“…God which works [‘operates’] all in all “ (I Cor. 12:6). God works all that there is in all that there are. Pretty neat, huh? When we have a God this great, we can expect nothing but perfect assured success. The Christian teaching that God only can “desire” great things, but He cannot actually “accomplish” great things is absurd.
Here is Christian theology at its best: God invents man. God desires for man to work a certain way. Man fails to work in the way that God desires. Out of uncontrollable frustration, God tortures his mal-functioning invention for all eternity. And no one sees a problem with this anti-scriptural heresy.
Who among us has not seen in real life or in the movies: A man invents a machine. He desires for his invention to work a certain way. The invention fails to work in the desired way. The inventor smashes the mal-functioning machine into a thousand pieces? We laugh at such stupid and juvenile behavior, yet we worship a god who supposedly acts a thousand times more stupid and evil than our carnal-minded inventor. Go figure.
What kind of insanity blames a “created machine” for any mal-functions? God created the human race; God is responsible for any and all activities of the human race. No one asked to be born! And yet… and YET, there are those evil-minded theologians and Christians who believe that God will not only torture most of His creatures, but that He actually knew in advance of their creation that He would torture most of them in literal fire for all eternity!
Not only would such an “Inventor” be stupid, but he would be evil beyond words to describe. Yet even all of this stupidity and evil of the human heart,“…is of God.” Most have not yet even conceived of the Judgment that will come on them for the heresy of their own hearts. This judgment of our hearts is also part of God’s plan. God has made man in this weakened spiritual state for a glorious destiny. Man is not yet created in God’s full spiritual Image, but that is the process, purpose, and destiny of the human race-to finally be the very Image of God Himself.
The Scriptures plainly show and state in many places, that the natural mind of man cannot love and obey God. Yet theologians tell us that unless man does, of his own free will, love and obey God, that God will torture them in fire for all eternity. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place!
“…Who works [‘operates’] ALL THINGS after the counsel of His own will” (Eph. 1:11).
“For OF Him, and THROUGH Him, and TO Him, are ALL THINGS…” (Rom. 11:36).
“And ALL THINGS are of God…”(II Cor. 5:;18).
“…calls those things which be NOT, as though they WERE” (Rom. 4:17).
“Declaring the END from the BEGINNING…” (Isa. 46:10).
“For in Him we LIVE, and MOVE, and have our BEING [Gk: ‘we ARE’- we exist] …” (Acts 17:28).
All energy, all matter, all creation, and all humans are in God. We can only“live and move… IN HIM.” And this is why:
“O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself. It is not in man that walks to direct his steps” (Jer. 10:23).
Well I’ll stop, I Just can’t see why people can’t believe in Universal Salvation. God knows what He started out to do, and I believe He will finish it. The creation of man,the fall of man, and the Redemption of man.

Getting back to you on sleep.
When does death mean “dead” and when does death mean “asleep”? The subject of our discussion was praying to the dead saints who in turn intercede for us with God in prayer. Thank you.
In order to understand this subject, we need to get a good definition of the Greek word that is translated “asleep”. The Greek word is “koimontai” (κοιμωνται) and is found 18 different times in the New Testament. This word means “to sleep, to be asleep” and is a figure of speech used to transmit the idea that a person has died, physically. Even though it is used 18 times in the New Testament, only 3 of those times refer to physical sleep. Here are the 3 which refer to physical sleep.
The next reference is of those who placed their faith in Christ and then later died physically. They had hope that Jesus would resurrect their bodies.
And if Christ is not raised, your faith is foolish; you are yet in your sins. Then also those that fell asleep (koimontai) in Christ were lost. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now Christ has risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruit of those who slept (koimontai). (I Corinthians 15:17-20)
The next text refers to Jesus’ coming to take the believers. There some believers who are “asleep” and they will be resurrected fist. Those who remain alive when Christ returns will be transformed without experiencing physical death.
Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not all fall asleep (koimontai), but we shall all be changed; (I Corinthians 15:51)
- The final text that we will analyze is First Thessalonians where Paul uses the word “sleep” or “asleep” twice. But I would not have you ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep (koimontai), that you be not grieved, even as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him all those who have fallen asleep (koimontai) through Jesus. For we say this to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall not go before those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall ever be with the Lord. (I Thessalonians 4:13-17). { There dead }

Fear God and seek His mercy which He revealed in the gift of His Son.

His mercy has a time limit.

Rev 1:18, Jesus said, “I am he that lives, and was “DEAD”.
( nek-ros’ ), from an apparently primary word (ve’kus, nekus) a corpuse ; dead (literally or figuratively; also as a noun:- DEAD.
Now how many here don’t believe Jesus was “truly” DEAD? and at the same time say they believe what Jesus says.

No it was the Roman Catholic Church Nick . St. Augustine He made the teaching about Hell and the Reformation keep it . Like they did with the Trinity doctrine.

When you give me the impression that you KNOW there is a hell, what you are saying is that you have seen the word “hell” in the bible and men have interpreted for you what that word hell means. You like the idea that you and others are special and will be saved, while the majority of men women, pregnant women, little boys and little girls by the billions and billions who have NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THIS JESUS YOU ARE SPEAKING OF THAT LOVES US SOOOOO MUCH, will be put into some fabled hellhole of real fire the have their eyeballs burned out without water, without mercy, without hope, for ALL ETERNITY!!!!! In Revelation 20:10, we find this phrase in the King James Bible:
“…and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever”
I’m not a scholars or a translator, use To be a painter I would have got alone good with Jesus Christ He was a carpenter. don’t know a lick of Hebrew or Greek, and struggle horribly with the English language, but bear with me for a few moments:
Here is what this phrase “ever and ever” looks like in the Greek when in English, word for word, and then with the word for word English translation underneath each Greek word:
“tous aionas ton aionon”
the eons of the eons[1] The article “the” (tous) has been completely LEFT OUT in the King James!
[2] The NOUN “eons” or “ages” (aionas) has been changed to an ADJECTIVE, “ever.”
[3] The PLURAL noun “eons” has ben changed to the SINGULAR adjective “ever.”
[4] The GENITIVE “of” has been changed into the CONJUNCTION, “and.”
[5] The NOUN :”eons” (aionon) has once more been changed to an ADJECTIVE, “ever.”
Three little words, “ever and ever”has been a hermeneutical NIGHTMARE! It has spawned visions of billions and billions of defenseless humans WRITHING IN UNSPEAKABLE TORTURE BY FIRE FOR ALL ETERNITY, God bless Nick

God is the Saviour and He sent His Son to die that we might live.
But most refuse His offer.
Nick….Most people never even heard the offer, much less had a chance to accept it, brother. ANTHONY IS RIGHT ON THIS, the language has been changed in our text, to read for ever and ever. Nick if God is not willing any parish, there is a good chance none will. Not because who we are , but because who he is. God himself creates us unto salvation. “For he (God) works in us both to will and do of his good pleasure”. We are “created unto good works Nicks.
