You: Not really sure what you are driving at, but Jesus to me is not God, nor is he God’s word, even though he does speak GOD’S THE FATHER’S WORDS TO US.
Me: Jesus together with his Father is one God.
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me:…
John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Me: We are one with Christ who is one with God. We become one with God only through Christ and only through Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

You: Are you trying to turn Jesus into a deity or a God, OF SOMEKIND? The word messiah simply means anointed one, nothing more or less, to me, Moses and the seventy elders, and other leaders like King David and the prophets were also anointed ones. What makes you think the word messiah has any different meaning?
Me: And don’t forget that “Jesus” means salvation. You left this out.
Matt 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Isa 43:11 I, even I, am YHWH and beside me there is no saviour.
May 9, 2019 at 10:38 pm#845273TruthcomberParticipantHi All,
Here is the litmus test:
Jubilee Bible 2000
1 John 4:2 In this know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus (me:salvation) Christ (me:anointed), is come in flesh is of God:Matt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
Me: So, the point is that Jesus is divine. He is the only true offspring of God through which salvation comes. We becomes sons of God through adoption by putting on Christ.

Many god’s and Lord’s.
There are, however, other beings in heavens (other than the Father, Christ Jesus and the “Sons of God”) that people on earth also recognize to be “gods” and “lords” and they are inferior in power and authority when compared to those in the single Godhead. Paul called attention to them in First Corinthians 8:5,6. He said:
“For though there be[authorities] that are called gods whether in heaven or on earth (as there be gods many, and lords many), but to us [to us Christians] there is but one God, the Father [whom we recognize], of whom are all things, and we in him; and[we also recognize] one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom[through the work of Christ] are all things [that is, Christ created “all things” in the universe], and we [were created] by him [Christ created us humans].”
Although there are “Sons of God” in heaven alongside the Father and Christ, we Christians do NOT reckon them as a part of the Godhead for us to petition. Beyond these “Sons,” there are other high dignitaries in heaven. The apostle Paul referred to these authorities when he mentioned the principalities and powers that God allows to exist in the heavens and on the earth (Ephesians 1:21; 3:10; 6:12; Colossians 1:16; 2:10,15). These were created directly by Jesus Christ under the auspices of the Father.“For by him [through the work of Christ Jesus] were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him [by and through Christ Jesus]: and he [Christ] is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
Colossians 1:16,17
These powerful spiritual personalities occupying thrones and ruling over dominions are NOT a part of the single Family of God. The generic name that denotes them is angelsMay 10, 2019 at 1:59 am#845279GeneBalthropParticipantAnthony…..There is no “true” God except “one” unto those who truly believe. May 10, 2019 at 2:51 am#845280JodiParticipantGood Morning Anthony and All,
What separated Jesus from all other mortal humans is that he was set apart called to righteousness to be made perfect, to die for our sins. Recall Paul’s words where YHWH’s plan all along, before time even began, was one man bringing sin and death and another man bringing righteousness and life. Adam nor any other man received the measures of YHWH’s Spirit as Jesus did.
Jeremiah 10:6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD (YHWH); thou art great, and thy name is great in might. 7 Who would not FEAR thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.
Isaiah 42:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the LORD (YHWH) shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the FEAR of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD (YHWH): and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
There is NONE like YHWH, his NAME is GREAT in might. Jesus, the son of Jesse is only great, a mighty one, because YHWH (the Father of Jesus, the Father of you, the God of Jesus, the God of you) rested His Spirit upon him.
Luke 11:2 And he said unto them,When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy NAME. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Jesus does the will of our Father, and we are to likewise do the will of our Father. Jesus had God’s Spirit rest upon him which made him capable of following YHWH’s will perfectly, he was anointed and sent out into the world to perform YHWH’s will and the people beheld the glory of the only man begotten by YHWH’s Spirit and thus was filled with grace and truth.
“O King of nations” (Jeremiah 10)
1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her,Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
Let me spell it out what these scriptures clearly tell you, compare Jeremiah, with Isaiah with Jesus and Paul’s words.
There is NONE like YHWH who man should fear, Jesus was a man born of God’s Spirit, the Spirit of Knowledge and FEAR of YHWH. YHWH MADE this human of quick understanding and fear of Him. Jesus was given the Spirit of Wisdom, Council and might, and he would not judge with his own eyes. Jesus judges the earth through YHWH according to YHWH’s will. YHWH is King over all nations and He appointed a man to fulfill His will making this man a king and a judge until all are in subjection following also YHWH’s will, then Jesus hands over the kingdom to YHWH and YHWH is then ALL IN ALL.
Jesus and all are united, ONE BODY following YHWH’s will perfectly, doing the will of OUR Father, being ONE with YHWH as our Father in the end is not just ALL in Jesus, but He is ALL in every man, “ALL IN ALL.” ‘Such is why we are told that we are JOINT heirs with Christ being Heirs of YHWH.
May 10, 2019 at 2:53 am#845281GeneBalthropParticipantTruthcomber. …..So we then are not the sons of God also? Interesting ,
Rom 8:14….For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the “sons of God”.
Rom 8:17 ….and if childern, then heirs; heirs of God, “and” joint-heirs “with” Christ; if so be we suffer with him, that we may be glorified “together”.
1 John 3:1… Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God; therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, “now” we are the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know when he shall appear, we shall “be like him” ; for we shall see him “as he is”. (3) And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, “even as he is pure”.
But you people move Jesus away from yourselves making him different then we are, your doctrine is a “Doctrine of Seperation” you simply do not believe in a flesh Jesus, nor do you believe that the flesh man Jesus had to be baptized inorder for him to do the will of God. You certanily do not believe in an anointed man, Jesus. You believe in a preexisting Jesus who was a savior and a deity or God, before him comming into his “only” existence on the earth, a pure HUMAN man who had to be resurected in order to have eternal life in him.
TC, anything that moves Jesus away from his human brothers and sisters, is a false teaching. IMO
Peace and love to you and yours. ………gene

Jesus is recognized as both Yahweh and Elohim in the prophecy in Isaiah 40:3: “Prepare the way of the Lord [Yahweh]; make straight in the desert a highway for our God [Elohim].” This verse was written in reference to John the Baptist preparing for the coming of Christ (as confirmed in John 1:23) and represents one of the strongest affirmations of Christ’s deity in the Old Testament. In Isaiah 9:6, we likewise read a prophecy of Christ with a singular variant (El) of Elohim: “And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God [El], Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Jesus is Theos. The New Testament Greek word for God, Theos, is the corresponding parallel to the Old Testament Hebrew term Elohim. A well-known example of Christ being addressed as God (Theos) is found in the story of “doubting Thomas” in John 20. In this passage, Thomas witnesses the resurrected Christ and worshipfully responds: “My Lord and my God [Theos]” (John 20:28).
Jesus is called Theos throughout the rest of the New Testament. For example, when a jailer asked Paul and Silas how to be saved, they responded: “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household” (Acts 16:31). After the jailer believed and became saved, he “rejoiced, having believed in God [Theos] with all his household” (verse 34). Believing in Christ and believing in God are seen as identical acts.
Jesus Possesses the Attributes of God
Jesus possesses attributes that belong only to God.Jesus is eternal. John 1:1affirms: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The word was in this verse is an imperfect tense, indicating continuous, ongoing existence. When the timespace universe came into being, Christ already existed (Hebrews 1:8–11).
Jesus is self-existent. As the Creator of all things (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:2), Christ himself must be uncreated. Colossians 1:17 tells us that Christ is “before all things, and in Him all things consist.”
Jesus is everywhere-present. Christ promised His disciples, “Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20). Since people all over the world gather in Christ’s name, the only way He could be present with them all is if He is truly omnipresent (see Matthew 28:20; Ephesians 1:23, 4:10; Colossians 3:11).
Jesus Christ is God! Yahweh, El, Elohim… YHWH, I AM
God bless
May 10, 2019 at 11:24 am#845286JodiParticipantHi Anthony,
YOU: Jesus is recognized as both Yahweh and Elohim in the prophecy in Isaiah 40:3
ME: Please here me out Anthony.
I wish you would have brought in the scriptures that I used in my last post and replied using those showing how it is they fit with the response you gave.
What I see is you are not believing/understanding those truths and apply them to the scriptures you gave to me in your reply.
I would like to give the scriptures you gave and show you how they apply to those I gave.
Isaiah 40:2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.
Anthony, how are the sins of the people pardoned? Is not that pardon the covenant YHWH made with Israel and also the Gentiles, where YHWH would call a man to righteousness, rest His Spirit upon him, holding his hand and keeping him, perfecting him through having him learn obedience? Yes it is!
Israel received by YHWH’s hands double for her sins, and Jesus receives dominion over all the works of YHWH’s hands. Jesus is not YHWH in Isaiah, nor is he YHWH in Psalms, he is a man that receives all things from YHWH of whom there is no one else like Him.
John preached baptism prior to when Jesus was anointed, people confessed and repented of their sins and they were symbolically washed clean by being dipped in water. The same God that called Jesus to perform God’s will, is the same God that called John to perform His will. They both were men called by YHWH to perform deeds that were according to YHWH’s plan, of which that plan is for YHWH to be ALL in ALL.
John was indeed preparing the way for YHWH for His glory to be revealed, and that glory was Jesus becoming anointed, being called to righteousness to be a covenant for the people a light to the Gentiles.
John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Anthony you are in error saying that this is proof that Jesus is YHWH, Jesus is the glory of the LORD that was revealed when Jesus had been anointed and was sent out to perform YHWH’s will, do good deeds through YHWH because YHWH was with him, be perfected by the hand of YHWH, and die for our sins according to Jesus following YHWH’s will and not his own, learning obedience.
The mouth of YHWH said to the prophet Isaiah that He would not give His glory to any other, upon Jesus’s baptism and being sent out, that glory was revealed. John prepared the way for YHWH for Him to fulfill His promises.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
According to other passages by Isaiah, we know that the offspring of Jesse governs not through his own eyes and ears, but through having been called to righteousness, through having been born of God’s Spirit, with having the Spirit of YHWH resting upon him being filled with Council and Might, he is made for a covenant of which brings peace. He is GIVEN an everlasting kingdom, the kingdom of his father David.
John 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas,Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
What is it that we are told we are to believe in Anthony?
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
1 Peter 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and GAVE him GLORY; that your faith and hope might be in God.
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath MADE that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Jesus, the offspring of Jesse, was made a master, he judges not with his own eyes and ears, he was anointed made Christ and through that anointing of the Spirit he is able to judge according to YHWH’s will by YHWH’s righteousness.
1 Timothy 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; 2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
John 20:17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”
Start this passage again not denying the above scriptures especially what Jesus says just prior in the same chapter.
John 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas,Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, my Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him,Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed….31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Thomas BELIEVES, he answers Jesus declaring his belief in the Son and the Father, he believes Jesus is Lord to the glory of God, as God MADE Jesus both a lord (master) and Christ (The Anointed).
Anthony, YHWH is Jesus’s God, we SHARE a God with Jesus, we are joint heirs with Jesus being heirs of YHWH, and thus are also Sons of YHWH (Romans 8). YHWH’s purpose was that we would have faith in Him through His work by His Spirit in Jesus. Thomas declared his faith to his lord Jesus and his faith to his God YHWH, when he said “my lord and my God, such was exactly what Jesus was looking for.
Jesus is our lord as he seeks not his own will but the will of the Father. We follow Jesus as our lord BECAUSE he follows YHWH’s will and not his own. Think on that!!
May 10, 2019 at 12:01 pm#845287JodiParticipantHi Anthony,
The word elohiym is translated in the bible as “God” and as “god” or “gods” hundreds of times,
as god or “gods” 244 times
Psalms 82:5 “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. 6 “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’ 7 But you will die like mere mortals; you will fall like every other ruler.” 8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
1 Samuel 2:10 those who oppose the LORD will be broken. The Most High will thunder from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.”
Isaiah 11:1 A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. 2 The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD— 3 and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; 4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
John 10:33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” 34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” ’? 35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside— 36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? 37 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father.
1 Corinthians 8:4 So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.” 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
Don’t SET ASIDE Anthony that our One True God MADE Jesus both our lord and our Christ. YHWH our Father MADE Jesus our savior, YHWH judges the earth through his anointed, the offspring of Jesse.
Jesus is not called a god because He is YHWH the One and Only True God, he is called a god because the One True God anoints him and calls him to righteousness and fills him with His mighty powers, He fills him with His Spirit. Jesus said only God is good and he wasn’t talking about himself. Jesus did nothing of himself he says, he was good only because he learned from YHWH that which is good.
We are joint heirs with Christ, we are glorified together with him, also being an heir of YHWH made Sons of God. So many passages you set aside Anthony.

May 11, 2019 at 12:10 am#845296JodiParticipantGood Morning All,
Acts 10:36 The WORD which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) 37 That WORD, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. 42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
The WORD in Acts 10:36 does NOT represent a PERSON but in fact represents a SPECIFIC SPOKEN Message of peace from God.
The WORD = a SPECIFIC SPOKEN MESSAGE of GOD, THE WORD =PEACE.
Jesus was SENT to preach THE WORD of PEACE and to fulfill THE WORD of PEACE that he had been ordained by his God and our God to fulfill.
May 11, 2019 at 1:17 am#845297JodiParticipantGood Morning All,
As we learn directly from Acts 10, THE WORD=PEACE, Jesus was anointed and sent to preach God’s WORD of peace and to fulfill God’s will that brings us our peace, such is why in prophecy Jesus is called our prince of peace. Glory to YHWH who is the AUTHOR/SOURCE of peace, as He brought us our peace through the anointing of Jesus of Nazareth who through that anointing was SENT to fulfill God’s will, preaching the peace, becoming the peace through his death and resurrection.
THE WORD=PEACE, the spoken word of God, a Gospel/Good news, from a covenant.
Author of peace= The Father YHWH
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace WITH God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the AUTHOR of confusion, but of PEACE, as in all churches of the saints.
In the beginning was the WORD of PEACE, and the WORD of PEACE was WITH God, and the WORD of PEACE WAS God, as God is the AUTHOR of PEACE.
In God’s WORD of PEACE that was in the beginning before the world was made, was the Prince of Peace, Jesus of Nazareth IN God’s WORD of PEACE before the world was made, God promised to anoint and send Jesus out to speak the WORD of PEACE and fulfill God’s WORD of peace.
Without this WORD of PEACE of which Jesus of Nazareth was IN that WORD of PEACE, nothing would have been made, all was made by God through the anointed Jesus of Nazareth our Prince of Peace.
Very SIMPLE concept, God brought us life through Jesus, God would not have made heaven and earth AT ALL if it were not by His plan to bring eternal salvation. God made all things according to eternal salvation.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
In who is LIFE??
The anointed Jesus of Nazareth who shed his blood on the cross, that is who. All things consist through Jesus of Nazareth who was MADE perfecting BECOMING our source for eternal salvation.
Isaiah prophecies that the offspring of Jesse will be called to righteousness for a covenant of the people, even a LIGHT to the Gentiles.
When YHWH made heaven and earth and gave breath to the people and a spirit to walk therein (Isaiah 42), His WORD of PEACE from the beginning was calling the offspring of Jesse to righteousness to be a LIGHT to the world bringing salvation.
May 11, 2019 at 10:54 am#845298JodiParticipantHi All,
Just to highlight,
THE WORD,
Acts 10:36 The WORD which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) 37 That WORD, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good.
The WORD was the anointing of Jesus of Nazareth, a prophecy made to exist in the flesh, who was sent out and dwelt among the people being full of grace and truth.
May 11, 2019 at 2:59 pm#845302ProclaimerParticipantThe Word was WITH God.
Try to think of Jesus Christ who said he was the truth and the life.
He was the Word of Life, the Eternal Life that was with the Father in the beginning.
It is written, so any discord is rebellion against the author and inspiration of scripture.
Let’s see this rebellion in action and who these rebels are.
Go.

Hebrews 9:9 And being MADE perfect, he BECAME the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may BE ALSO. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him,Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
“where I am you may also be”
Romans 8:6 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and JOINT–heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
“the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself”
“but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works”
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
John 3:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 4 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: FOR God GIVETH not the Spirit by measure unto him.
THE WORD had been written and Jesus read that word as it concerned him. He was not the writer NEITHER the AUTHOR of THE WORD, he was MADE perfect having been called to righteousness fulfilling THE WORD.
Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall MAKE him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was WITH the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
Eternal life was WITH the Father, Peace for all the earth was WITH the Father, it was HIS WORD since before the world was, IN that WORD contained the Son of Man called to righteousness to be MADE perfect BECOMING our author of eternal salvation through his shed blood on the cross.

You by tying Jesus to being God’s word himself, so you can use what John says as meaning God and his word are seperate “beings” is Pure garbage.
Well did Jesus say, that the great “deception” would be about who he really was. Saying “many” shall come in my name saying I am the Christ, and “decieve” many. Just as it is this very day, the many are completely decieved .
Those “many” are those who are in the “broad way” that leads to destriction, they as you are those who preach a preexisting Jesus , But the few who are those, who are going in through the narrow gate, and the straight way, that leads to life.
T8…..Remember, Jesus said the words he spoke were no his words, but the words of him who sent him., so why do you force the text to say Jesus himself was The words he was speaking to us? IN that you are corrupting not only what GOD he Fathers says, but also what Jesus himself says also.
Jodi and I are bearing witness of the truth to you all.
Peace and love to you and yours. ………gene
