The one we follow came to do God's will.
Not my will but thine be done.

The family of God includes only those who know the will of God and do it.

                          “YHVH is GOD”=117

Re. 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things;
and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (JEHOVAH Son=117)

God does not sit on a throne like man sits on a throne. His “Throne” is in the Spiritual “HolyCity”=117!

Brother Nick,
I never told that. Infact we never argued all these things when we became christians. God is the one who drawn us to Him through His spirit. But we came here to clarify our doubts on various issues that are not so clear in Bible. It is only a process for confirming what we really believed.

WJ…….Jesus' Honor is not His HONOR but GOD the FATHERS HONOR, (“he who believes in me does (NOT) believe in ME but He who has sent me”, can you figure what Jesus meant by that statement. Jesus could do (NOTHING) HIMSELF , It was GOD the FATHER doing the WORK Jesus was following What GOD was doing. Scripture says GOD ” GIVES HIS GLORY TO (NO) MAN. Jesus was a man, SO the Glory went to the FATHER on everything that was DONE through Jesus on earth, every Miracle done, was done by the Father (IN) HIM, that applies to the apostles, it was GOD the FATHER confirming their words by the miracles following then , GOD also confirmed the words Jesus spoke by those same Miracles he did through Jesus also. Jesus plainly said that he GLORIFIED THE FATHER ON THE EARTH, and ask GOD the FATHER to glorify himself and a voice said “(I) Both Have and Will. Trying to push Jesus to the level of GOD the FATHER is only robbing the FATHER of Glory that belongs to HIM, something Jesus (NEVER) DID. IMO

I am not sure I understand your question.  Are you asking how one receives the Holy Spirit?   The obvious answer is you obey all of Jesus' teachings.  That of course means you have to believe not only in the true Jesus but also in the one who sent him  and you have to believe that all they say is true and that they speak as one.  Once you commit to becoming a student of the Anointed one you must be immersed as which time you receive the promise.  After that you must learn to live according to the ways of the Holy Spirit through faith.

Matthew 28:18-20(NIV) reads:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

I also believe that those who seek God will look at scripture from God's point of view or at least will do so when that point of view is shown to them.  Jesus strove and still strives to teach his students how to do that.

Hi KW,
The Spirit of God is not a prize for perfect obedience to Jesus.
We need to seek the teachings of Jesus about the kingdom and how to enter it and obey those.
Repentant weak failures and those aware of their helplessness in the fight against their sinful nature are welcome but many still try to save themselves.

“now the violent are taking it by force”

The rest of his teachings can only be obeyed with the assistance of that Spirit.
