Hi Berean,
Concerning your post regarding verse 6 of the below,
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto…[Read more]

Jesus was absolutely right in what he said, “the sabbath was “made for man”, not man for the Sabbath”, It’s a blessing from God, but it up to us whether we us that blessing or not.

Nice try; HOWEVER, wasn’t it you who stated the Septuagint was a corrupt translation?!?! Since you believe the only true translation is the King James, why are you using the Septuagint in this particular situation? Explain why the Septuagint is the only translation that uses this language in Isaiah? Even the translators of the King James…[Read more]

Baptism of the Spirit is the new birth. Water baptism is one way to receive the Spirit.
But some had the Spirit and were not baptized in water.
Out of obedience, they were baptised in water and surely they had already the Spirit, so it wasn’t to receive the Spirit, but for obedience that they were baptised in water.
God wants us to be baptized…[Read more]

the Sabbath was made “for” man, not man for the Sabbath”.
Sabbath is not our master. If we adhere to rituals then that will not bring life. If we have life, we will enter God’s rest.

We need to be reborn of the Spirit to attempt to grasp spiritual teachings.
Correct. The Spirit will not make us believe the opposite of what is written.

The Jews are the native people of Israel. They have been sent into exile numerous times, but have always retained a possession of this land, even if it was by a small number. They have returned to Israel numerous times and even as recent as 1948.
God has performed miracles with the Jews and both blessed them with his protection and also handed…[Read more]

This was the third day. Longer than 24 hours. Enough time to pass so that vegetation sprouts including plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them. In other words, plants reproducing. This activity could have taken place for thousands and millions of years.
So why do many subject God to 24…[Read more]

You: At this point, as you continue to show your unbelief and want to debate to that unbelief I believe you really should be moving to the Skeptics forum and look to discuss this over there.
Me: So my “unbelief” is not believing the same as you or no longer believing in christianity?!? This “unbelief” in Jesus being the messiah is founded…[Read more]

Hi Danny,
YOU: Our salvation from sin is only possible because of the precious blood of Jesus Christ that was lovingly shed for all mankind!
(Ephesians 1:7, 1 Peter 1:18-19, Revelation 1:5)ME: There is really A LOT more to it than that but it is all held when in those passages you provided we focus on CHRIST- anointed of the Spirit.

Hi Danny,
YOU: I believe that. Even Trinitarians believe that. (I’m not a Trinitarian.)
ME: Well, let’s look at this a bit further and see where you stand.
I have debated on here with trinitarians and non trinitarians who both have told me that Jesus’s name is “YHVH is salvation” because Jesus is himself YHVH. They both have also said that J…[Read more]

You don’t have to throw away intelligence and take the bible literally. Is Jesus returning with a literal sword coming from his mouth? Is the day that God created trees and plants that flowered, bore seed, and created new generations all in 24 hours? Is the 7th day where God rested 24 hours? No we are still in the 7th day. Otherwise, show me the…[Read more]
