The Passover
When the demand for Israel’s release had been first presented to the king of Egypt, the warning of the most terrible of the plagues had been given. Moses was directed to say to Pharaoh, “Thus saith the Lord, Israel is My son, even My first-born: and I say unto thee, Let My son go, that he may serve Me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy first-born.” Exodus 4:22, 23. Though despised by the Egyptians, the Israelites had been honored by God, in that they were singled out to be the depositaries of His law. In the special blessings and privileges accorded them, they had pre-eminence among the nations, as the first-born son had among brothers.
The judgment of which Egypt had first been warned, was to be the last visited. God is long-suffering and plenteous in mercy. He has a tender care for the beings formed in His image. If the loss of their harvests and their flocks and herds had brought Egypt to repentance, the children would not have been smitten; but the nation had stubbornly resisted the divine command, and now the final blow was about to fall.
Moses had been forbidden, on pain of death, to appear again in Pharaoh’s presence; but a last message from God was to be delivered to the rebellious monarch, and again Moses came before him, with the terrible announcement: “Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out.”
Before the execution of this sentence the Lord through Moses gave direction to the children of Israel concerning their departure from Egypt, and especially for their preservation from the coming judgment. Each family, alone or in connection with others, was to slay a lamb or a kid “without blemish,” and with a bunch of hyssop sprinkle its blood on “the two side posts and on the upper doorpost” of the house, that the destroying angel, coming at midnight, might not enter that dwelling. They were to eat the flesh roasted, with unleavened bread and bitter herbs, at night, as Moses said, “with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord’s Passover.”
The Lord declared: “I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment…. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.”
In commemoration of this great deliverance a feast was to be observed yearly by the people of Israel in all future generations. “This day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations: ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.” As they should keep the feast in future years, they were to repeat to their children the story of this great deliverance, as Moses bade them: “Ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.”
Furthermore, the first-born of both man and beast were to be the Lord’s, to be bought back only by a ransom, in acknowledgment that when the first-born in Egypt perished, that of Israel, though graciously preserved, had been justly exposed to the same doom but for the atoning sacrifice. “All the first-born are Mine,” the Lord declared; “for on the day that I smote all the first-born in the land of Egypt, I hallowed unto Me all the first-born in Israel, both man and beast: Mine they shall be,” Numbers 3:13. After the institution of the tabernacle service the Lord chose unto Himself the tribe of Levi for the work of the sanctuary, instead of the first-born of the people. “They are wholly given unto Me from among the children of Israel,” He said. “Instead of the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto Me.” Numbers 8:16. All the people were, however, still required, in acknowledgment of God’s mercy, to pay a redemptprivileges; and now man must co-operate with these saving agencies; he must appreciate and use the helps that God has provided—believe and obey all the divine requirements.
As Moses rehearsed to Israel the provisions of God for their deliverance, “the people bowed the head and worshiped.” The glad hope of freedom, the awful knowledge of the impending judgment upon their oppressors, the cares and labors incident to their speedy departure—all were for the time swallowed up in gratitude to their gracious Deliverer. Many of the Egyptians had been led to acknowledge the God of the Hebrews as the only true God, and these now begged to be permitted to find shelter in the homes of Israel when the destroying angel should pass through the land. They were gladly welcomed, and they pledged themselves henceforth to serve the God of Jacob and to go forth from Egypt with His people.
The Israelites obeyed the directions that God had given. Swiftly and secretly they made their preparations for departure. Their families were gathered, the paschal lamb slain, the flesh roasted with fire, the unleavened bread and bitter herbs prepared. The father and priest of the household sprinkled the blood upon the doorpost, and joined his family within the dwelling. In haste and silence the paschal lamb was eaten. In awe the people prayed and watched, the heart of the eldest born, from the strong man down to the little child, throbbing with indefinable dread. Fathers and mothers clasped in their arms their loved first-born as they thought of the fearful stroke that was to fall that night. But no dwelling of Israel was visited by the death-dealing angel. The sign of blood—the sign of a Saviour’s protection—was on their doors, and the destroyer entered not.
At midnight “there was a great cry in Egypt: for there was not a house where there was not one dead.” All the first-born in the land, “from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle” had been smitten by the destroyer. Throughout the vast realm of Egypt the pride of every household had been laid low. The shrieks and wails of the mourners filled the air. King and courtiers, with blanched faces and trembling limbs, stood aghast at the overmastering horror. Pharaoh remembered how he had once exclaimed, “Who is Jehovah, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I know not Jehovah, neither will I let Israel go.” Now, his heaven-daring pride humbled in the dust, he “called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said. Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said…. And be gone; and bless me also.” The royal counselors also and the people entreated the Israelites to depart “out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.”

It’s that time of the year again where the christian world celebrates the human sacrifice of a man whose death was to be the propitiation for all mankind and, in the biblical sense, refers to, “a sacrifice that appeases G-d’s wrath and reconciles sinners to Him. Signifying how the Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross serves to remove G-d’s anger towards sin, allowing for forgiveness and blessing for believers.”
WOW!! Because when G-d said to repent, turn from your wickedness, and then HE would remember it no more wasn’t good enough; HIS original plan wasn’t good enough so HE needed blood of a human to appease HIS anger.
Even Paul claims in Rom 3:25, “God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished.” Paul is stating G-d approves human sacrifice and long as it comes from HIM and HE left “unpunished” the sins of the past!?!?? Think one forgot what was written in the Tanakh or the exile he was living in. The biggest lie of Paul’s is he teaches G-d demands perfection of his creation and because you aren’t perfect, G-d has no love for you except thru/by the blood of the Jesus. Instead of listening to Paul, one should put the NT down and start reading the Tanakh and you will see HIS love for HIS creation and the mercy HE freely gave.
Why would G-d approve this human sacrifice of the Jesus when HE call it an abomination when speaking with the Israelite’s? Does G-d have a double standard?
Now, if you believe the Jesus has always been with G-d from the beginning in heaven, what “sacrifice” does the Jesus really make coming here to earth for 33 years and then returning to the same place from which he came? You have been duped. Read the Tanakh and find out what G-d really desires and stop following false gods and false religions. Verify everything!

• “Grant this task force clear and righteous targets for violence. Surround them as a shield, protect the innocent and blameless in their midst. Make their arrows like those of a skilled warrior who returned not empty-handed. Let every round find its mark against the enemies of righteousness and our great nation. Give them wisdom in every decision, endurance for the trial ahead, unbreakable unity, and overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy. Preserve their lives, sharpen their resolve, and let justice be executed swiftly and without remorse that evil may be driven back and wicked souls delivered to the eternal damnation prepared for them. For the wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. We ask these things with bold confidence in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, King over all kings and am” (Video).
Christ explicitly rebuked violence committed in His name when He warned, in John 16:2, that people would kill others, believing they were rendering a service to God. Attaching His holy name to acts of violence—even in war—falsely conveys the idea that Jesus, in some way, endorses and guides bullets to strike human targets. If nations deem it necessary to go to war, they have no right to invoke the name of Jesus to sanctify their slaughters and armed conflict. Governments may claim the necessity of defense, but they cross the line when they justify offensive measures by cloaking them in the name of the Prince of Peace. This gravely misrepresents His character and dangerously confuses His heavenly kingdom with the violent kingdoms of this world.Linking the Jewish Covenant—the Old Testament theocracy granted exclusively to ancient Israel—with modern America, as certain radical Evangelicals in the Church do, represents a profound misunderstanding of the nature and principles of the Kingdom of God. When Jesus appeared before Pilate and declared, ” Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36), He made it unequivocally clear that his reign is governed by principles entirely distinct from those of earthly nations and political powers.
Under the Old Covenant, God governed Israel directly, serving as both their spiritual King and their Lawgiver, authorizing war and conditional blessings linked to national obedience. That theocratic system has come to an end and has been replaced by the New Covenant in Christ. Today, in the era of the Kingdom, Jesus governs not through armies, borders, legislation, or national identity, but through the transformed hearts of His followers, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and through the advancement of the gospel.
His kingdom is spiritual in origin and characterized by love, truth, obedience, mercy, and selfless service, rather than by coercion or conquest. To confuse the United States—or any modern nation—with a revived version of Old Testament Israel erases the separation between Church and State and erroneously introduces theocratic warfare and civil law into the mission of the Church. In this type of prayer, one sees civil power speaking in religious terms and invoking divine authority to validate its actions. From a prophetic perspective, we are witnessing the rise of the Second Beast power that will enforce false worship through legislation and under penalty of death, just as described in Revelation 13.
The Jesus is called the “Passover Lamb” (I Cor 5:7) and is linked back to the original Passover when G-d freed the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt; somehow the Jesus becomes this lamb and sacrifices himself for the sins of the world. It is also taught this “sacrifice” was “salvation thru substitution.” That this event was somehow looking forward to the time of the Jesus. Please explain why the people of Israel would be looking forward 1400 years into the future for a “redeeming savior that would save them from ‘sin’” when G-d was delivering them from slavery in the present? It would seem the Jesus scenario was fashioned around this event, not that the event pointed to the Jesus; like many of the quotes from the Tanakh in the NT that are said to be about the Jesus when they aren’t.
What was the Passover? In general it’s the freeing of Israel from slavery, we all know the story. The Passover was more than just them begin set free, the people experienced first hand the power of G-d. They were a people that had been enslaved for the last 400 years and while I am sure they “knew” their heritage, but did they really “know” where they came from or who G-d really was? G-d was going to show Israel who HE is, so they would “know” who HE is. Additionally, G-d was showing them who they need to put their trust in.
Enter in the last plague, the death of the first born male, both man and animal. We find this account in Exd 12 where G-d says to take a perfect yearling lamb OR GOAT, bring it into their home days prior to the event (remember not house trained animals…think about it), care for it, and then as a community they were to kill it, place blood on their door frame, skin the animal leaving the head, legs, and entrails intact, cook it thoroughly, eat it until full, and then burn the rest before dawn. Explain how this process was to point to the Jesus when this event really was to see if the people would follow G-d’s instructions and trust they would be spared when the angel passed by.
The only reaching similarity is the “blood”; however, the blood only protected the first born. As christianity teaches, the “blood of the Jesus covers you so the wrath of G-d will pass by…passover…because of your sin” is false! The placing blood on the door frame and the angel passing over had nothing to with atoning the people of any sins nor was the death of the animal a substitution on behalf of the people’s sins. The people where told to eat what they killed, the meal they prepared was to be done quickly, and to be eaten in haste for the purpose of leaving in a moments notice.
Once again christianity twisting G-d’s word to fit the christian agenda.

History will confirm that the only way a civil state power can make any country ‘more religious’ is through FORCE. We have seen this throughout Bible history, and we have seen it during the dark ages when the Roman Catholic Church ruled and forced her ‘religion’ upon the world. Well, guess what Revelation 13 tells us is going to happen? An image to Papal Rome will be set up. Not a literal material image. But a state power that is controlled by the churches. And Revelation 13 tells us that the second beast, which is America, will be the nation to set this image up – a UNION of church and state, with the church controlling the state power. It is the very image portrayed in Revelation 17 – the harlot woman (apostate churches) riding (controlling) the beast (the state power). And all of what Donald Trump is saying and doing is leading America right into fulfilling the prophecy of the creation of the image to the beast.

What did Donald Trump say above? That he is going to make America more religious than ever before. How can a state power do this? By force. What did Revelation 13 say regarding America and the image to the beast?
Revelation 13:11-12 …’And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed … And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.’
SPEAK AND CAUSE. That is FORCE by legislative power. Also, he will “cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” WORSHIP is ‘religion.’ And to kill people who will not join in with the worship of this image, is FORCED religion. Do you see? This is what is coming in America. And ultimately the church-state image in America is to cause the world to bow to the dictates of Roman Catholicism (Papal Rome – the first beast). Which will include forced Sunday sabbath keeping and trinity worship. In opposition to God’s true seventh day Sabbath (our Saturday) and worship of the true one true God (the Father) and His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ).
And what about this A.I. image posted by Trump and the Whitehouse, depicting Trump as a pope? Is this a signal from Trump that He is going to give power to the churches? Is it a signal that he will totally support the Roman Catholic Church and that America will do her bidding? We will see.
But one thing we need to remember is that according to Revelation 13, they are going to use DECEPTION to cause the world to fall in line. Signs and wonders like we have never seen before. Which is why we MUST know the TRUTH of God and stand firm upon that platform of TRUTH. Because GREAT is the deception that is coming. Satan will use ALL his power to deceive this final generation before Jesus Christ returns. So we need to WATCH. We need to STUDY. We need to PRAY. We need to DRAW CLOSER to Jesus each and every day, and rely upon HIM alone. This is our only safety.

You do realize this is suppose to be a world wide happening…right???!?! The world is suppose to fall under the beast and NOT a single nation. Your fake prophetess said the same thing 150 years ago and guess what, NOTHING!! Didn’t she also predict the coming of the Jesus twice? Easter day, or if you’re a super christian “resurrection day”, has come and gone and as I ponder the day it occurred to me; what is celebrated and what does one worship on this day? Coming from over 40 years inside the “church”, do christians follow G-d’s command of worshiping HIM alone or have they included other “things” in their “worship”? Exd 20:3 G-d explicitly states, “You shall have no other gods before me” in Matt 4:10 and Luke 4:8 the Jesus states, “You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him”; the christian defines “gods” as anything that takes the place of or takes precedence over G-d.
Looking at what Easter represents to the christian, I have to wonder what and who are being worshiped. Is it G-d alone or are there “things” standing between man and G-d? One of the largest objects worshiped by the christian is the cross, that “old rugged cross” the christian clings to, as the song goes. The object the hangs in virtually all christian homes, stuck to cars, hanging from their necks, and in and on their places of worship. I was involved in the design and construction of a park like setting where people could go sit at the foot of crosses erected on a former church property and every Easter morning the church would have a “sunrise service” before these crosses. The christian church worships the cross, but disguises their worship as “remembrance.”
Of course the primary object of worship, the Jesus; the one who comes before and has taken the place of G-d. Who does the christian pray to, sing praises to, and who does the christian serve? A former church member once said it so eloquently one day, “it’s about Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; all day Jesus.” Where is G-d in that phrase? G-d has been placed in the proverbial back seat and has been replaced. It would seem the christian no longer fears G-d because they have the Jesus who takes away their sin and works as their “mediator” on their behalf before G-d; what need is there for G-d when they have the Jesus? Another deception within christianity is the belief the Jesus is G-d, G-d in the flesh, or G-d come to Earth.
G-d is the only one to be worshiped and anything between you and HIM is idolatry. When will the christian wake up, verify the words they are told, and begin studying G-d’s words.
Pope Leo XIV Backs Catholic Efforts in the U.S. to “Recover Sunday” as the Sacred Day of Rest, Worship, and Healing
On April 11, 2026, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tucson, AZ, published an article stating that other Catholic dioceses in America are calling for the recovery of “Sunday, the Lord’s Day, as a sacred time of worship in the Eucharist, of rest, and of healing relationships.” This work is being carried out with the blessing of Pope Leo XIV and is being presented as an effort to save the nation from ecological and social crises. In other words, Sunday worship is the solution to put an end to the so-called greatest threats facing America.
The Tucson Diocese published the following:
• “A new pastoral letter from Indiana’s Catholic bishops calls on the faithful to see God-given human life and creation as interwoven, and to live eucharistic lives as we care for both our human community and for God’s good world.” [1]
• “The Indiana Catholic Conference made public “Integral Ecology: A Sacramental Vision,” a 32-page document that is addressed both to Christians and to “all people of good will in the state of Indiana.” [1]
• “The letter was commended by Cardinal Michael Czerny, prefect of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, who extended Pope Leo XIV’s blessing to the bishops.” [1]
• “The Indiana bishops explained that integral ecology, put simply, recognizes: We belong to the earth and to the Church.” [1]
• “Sadly, our state of Indiana, with its 63,000 miles of streams and rivers and inland lakes and reservoirs, has some of the most polluted water in the country,” the bishops lamented.” [1]
• “The bishops said, “At the core of the ecological and social crises is a human heart enclosed in upon itself, alienated from God, our neighbor, and creation.” [1]
• “Exhorting the faithful to avoid consumerism, the bishops urged the faithful to put their faith into action through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy — and by recovering Sunday, the Lord’s Day, as a sacred time of worship in the Eucharist, of rest, and of healing relationships.” [1]
What will it take before we recognize the driving force behind the growing calls for Sunday observance? While many different voices—religious leaders, media figures, and policymakers—are promoting Sunday as a solution for rest, family stability, and even environmental healing, the overarching vision is being shaped and guided by the Vatican through the global influence of the Catholic Church, which has consistently upheld Sunday as its sacred institution.
Rome’s efforts are not isolated; they are coordinated and will continue to expand without an end in sight until the United States becomes an image of the beast. The push for Sunday laws will intensify with the aim of influencing public policy. The goal is clear: the promotion of Sunday—under the argument of safeguarding the common good—will continue until Sunday legislation becomes an integral part of American political and social life.
