Hi to all
Here is the Daily Devotional
THE SABBATH IS THE SEAL OF GOD
I am the Lord your God. Follow my precepts, observe my ordinances, and put them into practice. Keep my Sabbaths holy, and let them be a sign between me and you, that it may be known that I am the LORD your God. (Ezekiel 20.19-20)
The Sabbath was granted to all mankind to…[Read more]

Proclaimer…….Love does not require a, ” FREE WILL,”,
If uou cannot choose freely to love or reject God, then there is no such thing as love. Instead there is only God directing everything and just misfortune if God decides that you cannot love him.

If Adam and Eve had been created as robots that we control, they would not have disobeyed God. But they were created IN THE IMAGE OF GOD, which suggests that God has free will and therefore CONSTANTLY MAKES CHOICES.
PART OF THE PURPOSE OF GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION IN CHRIST AND TO SET MANKIND FREE FROM SIN. BY CHOOSING TO LEARN TO LOVE JUSTICE…[Read more]GeneBalthrop replied to the topic Free Will? in the forum Truth or Tradition 3 years, 5 months ago

This is how some early apostles / teachers put it. See if you can see the common theme they teach regarding the differences between God and the Son of God.
Justin Martyr (ca. 150 A.D) – First Apology
And when we say also that the Word, who is the firstborn of God, was brought forth without sexual union, and that he, Jesus Christ, our Teacher,…[Read more]

Hi Proclaimer,
You: But someone had to be the first to be with God.
Me: Now, YES, who is THIS SOMEONE THOUGH?
DEFINITELY AD INTRA , within the deity, AND NOT AD EXTRA outside the deity/creation, OR ELSE,
GOD COULD IN NO WAY BE OUR SAVIOUR AT ALL!
AS SIMPLE AS THAT,SINCE HE HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE WITH HIM AND BE INSEPARABLE!

There is God and there is creation. The beginning is creation. Before the cosmos, there was God and the Word that was with him. But God is supreme. Someone had to be first. And the first would rightly be called the Son of God.

God is love, and since He is love, He gave the first couple the free will or power to choose, to be dependent or independent with respect to God…
There were two trees in the garden. They represented choice. At that time, God instructed man to eat from one tree. Man disobeyed.

I would vote for a person that declared that. As long as he wasn’t just saying it for the votes. I imagine that many would not vote for him for saying that though. so most likely he means it.

Free will allows us to crucify our own choices in favour of God’s choices.
“Not MY Will, but YOURS”.
Berean replied to the topic Free Will? in the forum Truth or Tradition 3 years, 5 months ago
Even if our will is placed on the side of God in Christ, it does not mean that we do not/no longer have free choice, because “not me but Christ” is a spiritual process….through which God works in us to make us ONE IN CHRIST AS CHRIST IS ONE WITH THE FATHER.
WITHOUT FREE WILL MAN WOULD NOT EVEN NEED TO GIVE UP HIMSELF, BEING A ROBOT…GeneBalthrop replied to the topic Free Will? in the forum Truth or Tradition 3 years, 5 months ago
To all…….We must “ALL” put our wills to death, exactly like Jesus did or we simply will not be in the kingdom of God. We must all “overcome” our own wills, even as Jesus overcame his own, will.
The way Jesus did it is the “exact” way we must also, by puttingour wills to death to. Or haven’t you people ever read what Jesus said (not me), …[Read more]

God is love, and since He is love, He gave the first couple the free will or power to choose, to be dependent or independent with respect to God… But it cost God an infinite price: the gift of His ONLY SON and the gift of His Son was “at the risk of eternal perdition” (for the Son) For the Son, it was not won in advance because it was necessary…[Read more]

Free will is like giving away sovereignty. When this happens, you have self-rule and the giver takes a risk because the choices that the new entity makes may not necessarily line up with the will of the one who gave the free will or self-rule in the first place.
But as the saying goes, “if you love something, set it free”.
God gave us the abi…[Read more]
