Okay, Mike acknowledged a mistake. Who else is worthy enough to admit their own imperfection? Nick, Gene? When I am proven wrong I am happy to admit it because I have been given a chance to learn and be better.

Hey Gene, I agree that the Father was in Jesus doing the works. I agree that Jesus was a spokesman for God, sent to speak the messages God wanted him to speak to us. I just don’t agree that the Father’s own voice came out through Jesus’ mouth. Jesus spoke the words God told him to, but it was Jesus speaking those words. So when the scrip…

Hey Mike.
I have read a number of times where you say we haven’t debunked some of your points.
Correct. We haven’t. That doesn’t mean you are correct of course, but that I do not have an answer or haven’t the time to research those points. But will get there eventually I imagine. Further, you say I bring up new points not raised by posting…[Read more]

So then not the Father speaking through Jesus? Okay, how is it that the Spirit of the Son/anointing/Word was able to be seen by all those to whom he said those words in verse 36?
Good. He needs to be challenged in this area.

You don’t believe that the Spirit of God was leading Jesus before the Jordan? Then what spirit was leading Jesus before the Jordan?
Correct. Nick believes and teaches that Jesus was not the Christ for most of his life despite scripture declaring that he was born the messiah.

The Flat Firmament Theory
Mike, we have been getting some very clear skies here in the antipodes as the air is especially crisp this time of the year. Tonight I had a look up at the firmament and noticed something. I observed that the stars in the firmament appeared to not be in a dome but was flat across the sky. Now I could understand the…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 7 years, 12 months ago
Seeing the sun and moon at the same time

Mike, you can be assured that there is a logical explanation.

The shadow of the moon
Argument made by Flat EarthersThe shadow the moon casts on the Earth has to be bigger than the moon itself. A few flat Earthers tested their hypothesis by turning on a flash light and shining it at a quarter against the wall. They found that if they moved the quarter closer or farther from the wall the shadow was always…[Read more]

The Solar Eclipse does not prove a Flat Earth
Argument made by Flat EarthersThe first argument is if the Earth is rotating from west to east, the shadow should pass across Earth’s surface from East to West, just as the sun moves across the sky. At face value, this would seem odd to many people. Here’s a video of a flat Earther explaining why h…[Read more]

List of Antarctic expeditions
Ignoring regular flights and satellite photos of the continent, there are real people who have explored the frozen continent. Below is a chronological list of expeditions involving Antarctica taken from Wikipedia

Hi Mike.
Not sure if you have seen this. If so, can you debunk it?

Then God said, “Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.”
That word for “expanse” is definitely raqia…the birds fly in the raqia. That should end this thread, Mike. Your solid heaven has just been debunked.
Now we can move on. Mike you can no longer say that the…Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 8 years ago
Let’s just admit the Antarctica is a frozen continent that has been visited, mapped, and probed continually for years. People fly over it, takes tours there, and there is a ton of video and photographic evidence of such activity.
So how many people have actually touched the dome or photographed the actual dome structure? I think I saw one video…[Read more]

How about the angle of the earth in the first one? Do you understand that the astronauts all landed on the part of the moon that always faces the earth? Do you understand that any image of the earth from standing on the moon would be taken straight up – at 180 degrees? There is no way someone on the earth side of the moon could see both the e…

There is a dome around the Earth. The atmosphere is around us and so is space.
If the earth is supported by physical pillars, and there is a glass dome on top of us, then Jesus has a literal two edged sword coming out his mouth which probably explains why his robe is dipped in blood.
Come on Mike. Imagine if I made…[Read more]

But Mike was talking about Jesus saying things that obviously were Jesus speaking and talking about himself. So is that Jesus speaking, the Spirit speaking, God speaking, or what?
BTW Mike, you will be hard pressed to get a yes / no answer or a clear answer out of Nick as he prefers to replace an honest explanation as to what he believes in or…[Read more]

Let’s see if you can make the object in the background 30 times larger with one lens than with the other. You won’t be able to.
Haven’t I done this already with the Mt Ruapehu photo? I’m pretty sure I took another image that day with my normal lense, but I probably deleted it. Suffice to say, the zoom lense greatly increased the size of the mou…[Read more]

John tells us that it was Jesus who said the words in John 6:35-40. You say the Spirit said them. Who is correct?
Mike you are good at this and should stick to this kind of thing IMO. That is refute and correct using scripture. Some people need it.
As for the FE, while you are making the best case possible, I feel you need to be more open to…[Read more]
