3 and a half days is a common revelation term for the 3 and a half years of the tribulation. There are other like days, months etc. Every chapter of revelation seems to write about the same time frame from another perspective.Nick.
1.The two witnesses are *two persons*,
just as the scripture says.
They can be killed. They will turn water into blood, and stop the rain for 3/half years;not only in israel.
This makes the *nations* angry.
These two are send to give the jews a last chance.The earthquake in jerusalem is physical.
7000 will die in that earthquake.2.The signs in the sun and the moon,and the shaking of the earth,are the signs of the coming.
By this time,no repentance are accepted.

When it comes to Revelation what seems easy and simple often isn't as it is spiritual.The measuring of the temple is about the separation of the sheep who will be protected from the goats who will not.

The temple of God are them that worship God.
But there is the Priest.
The Altar of sacrifices.
And the Court outside.God said:Dont measure the court.(leave out the court).
The majority.These are the luke warm.Only measure the temple and the altar;**AND THEM THAT WORSHIP THERE IN**.
These are the minority. The true believers.The majority will be given to the gentiles to tread them under foot,for 3/half years.
The two witnesses are there to witness to them.
The world will see them also.God is a merciful God; he gaves us another chance to straighten our ways. Lets not harden our hearts when it comes. There will be no rain,not much water,plagues.
But stay with the Lord through all the sufferings.

God has not destined us for wrath 1 Thess 5.9
He delivers us from the wrath to come 1Thess 1.10After 3 and a half years the Master will return for us and take us to meet him in the air.
Then follows the wrath of God for the remainder
