New Catholic Encyclopedia Encyclopedia
“The majority of N[ew] T[estament] texts reveal God’s spirit as something, not someone; this is especially seen in the parallelism between the spirit and the power of God.” (1967, Vol. XIII, p. 575) It also reports: “The Apologists [Greek Christian writers of the second century] spoke too haltingly of the Spirit; with a measure of anticipation, one might say too impersonally.”—Vol. XIV, p. 296.
It's weird how the early Christians spoke “impersonally” of the holy spirit. It's weird how the majority of NT texts reveal God’s spirit as something, not someone.

http://www.holycitybiblecode.orgJuly 17, 2010 at 5:54 am#204388Ed JParticipantQuote (david @ July 17 2010,16:43) Quote Hi David, You mean you don't believe “The Bible” is God's word?
I don't remember saying that.
A “word” is something that conveys a message.
BOTH the Bible and Jesus conveyed a message.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY HAVE THE SAME IDENTITY!
Hi David,The HolySpirit is God and Jesus is the Son of the HolySpirit. (Matt.1:18 / Matt.1:20 / Like 1:35)
So their identities are indeed very close. Let me illustrate just how close they are…In English, the significant number (74) is attributed to JOSHUA=74, Messiah=74;
also in the following: JESUS=74, Cross=74, Gospel=74, עד=74, and even English=74.
Jesus Christ (74×32) also factors 74 in Greek Theomatically:
[Jesus] Ιησους=74(x12), [Christ] Χριστоς=74(x20).
[Son of Man] υιος τον ανθρωπου=74(x40).one hundred and forty four thousand=373 (Rev.14:3)
JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS=373 (John 19:19)(Lōgôs) [λογος]=373 means “Word”, and 373 is the 74th Prime Number!
(Hō Lōgôs) [ο λογος]=443 means “The Word” and 443 is the 86th Prime Number. (John 1:1)
“God Word”=86 and אלהים=86 ĔL-ō-Hêêm both equal 86 and ĔL-ō-Hêêm=63 means “YHVH”=63.It's a simple matter of simple number associations, I will illustrate what they mean…
I'm lining up these ideas up better for you to see what the numbers represent; OK?The “HolySpirit” is “The Word”(of God)!
……………Hebrew=Greek
………….(86)אלהים=ο λογος(86th Prime)
(ĔL-ō-Hêêm)God=The Word(Hō Lōgôs)God=86 in Hebrew and “The Word”=86 in Greek ARE EQUAL.
Theomatic numbers and prime number counterparts. (John 1:1)This symbol ( > ) means GREATER THAN in mathematics
How the pieces fit together perfectly: “The Word” (86) > “Word” (74).
English it is comparable to using (The LORD JEHOVAH) > (Lord Jesus=74) is the “God Son”=74!
……………………………………………………….”The Owner” > “Owner “
…………………………………………………………….JEHOVAH > Jesus
……………………………………………………………………..86 > 74The… “Paradox” is (JEHOVAH)God(=86) is both equal and unequal to (greater than and equal to) Jesus=74(God Son=74)!
HolySpirit151 is The LORD JEHOVAH151 and Jesus Christ151 is the “HolySpirit's Son! (Matt.1:18 / Matt.1:20 / Luke 1:35)
John 1:1: “The Word”(HolySpirit) is God(The LORD JEHOVAH). Our family goes by the title (AKJV) LORD of Hosts=151!God bless

Exactly, Pierre. He does this over and over and I can't see how he doesn't understand the fallacy. You can't just put things together like that. I don't believe that everyone named Ed is the same person. I'd need a little more proof. If there were only 3 people named Ed in the world, Ed would be a very confused individual.
July 17, 2010 at 5:57 am#204391davidParticipantEd, I don't really care about your numerology, or astrology or whatever you'd call your secret hidden messages. They are all in your head. The Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek. Yet, you think God put a secret message in the KJ English Version. (Do you have any idea how many mistakes are in that version?) A bazillion!
July 17, 2010 at 5:57 am#204392Ed JParticipantQuote (david @ July 17 2010,16:47) Ed, I started many many threads dealing with this very fallacy. Jesus is called “lord”
God is called “lord”
THEREFORE, Jesus is God.HOWEVER, MANY MANY OTHERS ARE CALLED LORD.
Jesus is called “savior”
God is called “savior”
THEREFORE, they are the same person.HOWEVER, OTHERS ARE CALLED SAVIOR.
Ed, Just because two are called by the same word, does not in itself mean they are the same person.
Hi David,First: [יהוה] YÄ-hä-vā translates directly into English as YHVH. (AKJV Bible: JEHOVAH)
Secondly: [יהשוע] YÄ-shü-ă translates directly into English as Joshua. (AKJV Bible: Jesus)[אדני] Âdônây in Hebrew means: “Lord” or “Owner” and is akin to
[Κύριος] kü-rē-ŏs in Greek meaning “The Same”: “Lord” or “Owner”“YOU” CANNOT argue with this “Bible Truth”! (LORD: means Owner)
I will orchestrate my explanation around the term “Owner”.
The AKJV Bible uses: Lord for [יהשוע] and LORD for [יהוה].The names have been changed to protect the innocent! (Acts.18:15)
In the red corner it's “The Trinitarian” VERSUS “The non-Trinitarians”
in the blue corner: in a nonsensical useless battle over word structures.
This nonsensical fight is merely over word structures like master, king, Lord, Creator and God.
I will illustrate just how ridiculous their fight is: it's like the Abbot and Costello skit: who's on first!
I will illustrate my point using the term “Owner”, because this word adds clarity that the others lack. The Trinitarians say: Jesus is “The Owner”.
The non-Trinitarians reply: Jesus is NOT “The Owner”, Jesus' Father is “The Owner”!The Same issue: A Closer Examination
Technically Jesus is: “owner” but NOT “THE OWNER”!
This can be clearly seen and understood using the word “Owner”!Jehovah is “The Owner” and Jesus is The Son of “The Owner”.
Jehovah CANNOT DIE, so Jehovah will ALWAYS remain “The Owner”!
A Son can 'only' become become fully “The Owner” if the Parent dies,
which in JEHOVAH's case cannot happen; because GOD CANNOT DIE!Now Change “The Word“, (Ha Ha Ha, ha ha ha) GET IT; That's exactly what both sides are doing!
They change “THE WORD” with useless substitutes like [†] master, King, Lord, Creator and God.
In this matter “The Word”(HolySpirit) is clear! 1Thess.4:8 He therefore that despiseth,
Here despiseth not man, but “GOD“, who hath also given unto us HIS HOLY SPIRIT.Witnessing to the world in behalf of…
יהוה האלהים(JEHOVAH GOD) YÄ-hä-vā hä ĔL-ō-Hêêm! (Psalm 45:17)

July 17, 2010 at 6:01 am#204398davidParticipantQuote “YOU” CANNOT argue with this “Bible Truth”! (LORD: means Owner) Why would I?
What I am arguing with is the idea that someone can take the word “lord” and realize that Abraham is called lord, and Jesus is called Lord, and then say that they are the same person.
That's not correct thinking.

it offers nothing more than a distraction away from “Truth”.Since you cannot refute “Truth”, all you offer is a distraction?

David,You can call an arm something as in “something touched me” or you can be more personal as in “you touched me”. Scripture does this with Angels by calling them God when they are doing his work, thus a angel speaking from the burning bush become God speaking from the burning bush. The Spirit of God does God's work.
