Gene,You may be correct but I perceive God's presence being in someone when he literally speaks through them. I have only known him to do it through angels and other things. For example.

In the last two to three years, I've sadly watched you go from a student seriously searching for truth to a man that just makes up his own truth as he goes – when the scriptural truth doesn't suit him. There are SO MANY scriptures that say God dwells in heaven (not “heaven dwells in God”). There are many that say God looks upon us humans FROM His dwelling place IN HEAVEN. There are so many that ask God to hear FROM HEAVEN when they cry out to Him IN HEAVEN.

Mike,You already stated that God's throne is heaven means God rules from heaven and not that he sits on heaven. Earth is his footstool similar in that it is lower than the seat of the throne but still connected.
Paul's words at Athens remain that in God we live, move, and have our being.

T,It is my understanding that the Holy Spirit dwells in believers so they love as God loves. I do not see evidence that God's presence dwells in them.

1) the truth of God
2) the spirit of the world (Satan spirit of adversary to all what God stands for )
T,You seem to be saying that the Holy Spirit is not the Spirit we are instructed to live by. How do you come up with that or am I misunderstanding you?
