Being theos in nature doesn’t make you theos in person.
Just as being adam in nature doesn’t make you Adam in person.
Hi Proclaimer
We still have to agree on what “God in nature” means ….. because if in the end, we do not believe that Christ, the divine and unique SON OF GOD, BEGOTTEN IN ETERNITY, DOES NOT HAVE IN HIMSELF THE ATTRIBUTES OF H…[Read more]

Further, you have said that Revelation was lifted out of Daniel. So this argument of yours goes against your other argument that Daniel is about kingdoms but Revelations is not. You need to sort this discrepancy out.
Which of your two arguments are you going to drop?
You can’t hold both views unless you are willing to live with contradiction a…

Sorry you are still in the dilemma of equating Danielic visions with those of Revelation. I never denied the four Kingdoms of Dan 2 and 7 as these chapters talk of Kingdoms.
So if Daniel can be kingdoms despite saying that the golden head was a king, then apply the same rule to Revelation.

I should add that when these writers talk of theos, they are not always addressing theos in person, but sometimes nature. In English it is hard to see this difference. In Greek for example, the definite article is there whereas we capitalise the first letter. For example, Adam or adam.
But God and god doesn’t really work in English because we…[Read more]

Hey guys! and everyone else I didn’t mention,
Irenaeus wrote around AD 185 and mentions John 1:1 five times.
In one reference he comments, “‘and the Word was God,’ of course, for that which is begotten of God is God.”
Irenaeus understood Jesus as more than “a god” or a divine being of a sort.
He referred to Jesus as God.
Let me repeat wha…Proclaimer replied to the topic Question of Parousia of Jesus – how Christianity manage the dilemma? in the forum Prophetic News & Eschatology 5 years, 1 month ago

Let’s take a look at all seven gentile kingdoms that ruled the biblical world in succession. Note: this is history (not opinion) and it happens to perfectly match the revelation given to John. The seven are:
Egypt – 3100 to 677 BC (Genesis 12:10)
Assyria – 677 to 626 BC (Genesis 2:14)
Babylon – 626 – 539 BC (Daniel 1:1)[Read more] carmel replied to the topic Even demons believe he is the son of God in the forum Scriptural Teachings 5 years, 1 month ago

Hi Mike.
YOU: If Rev 3:14 says Jesus is the “first cause” of God’s creation, it means that God isn’t the first cause of His own creation… which is absurd. It becomes even more absurd to think that Jesus would call himself “the creator of the creation by God”. Think about it… “I am the creator of God’s creation!” Laughable.

Gadam,
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
This does not mean that there will be no sea in the new world where justice will dwell, that God will create after the thousand years (HEAVEN judgment of the lost)
