Further, the Logos in John 1:1 has a definite article in all instances. And to add more to that, the Word was also WITH God.
This wording and construction is purposeful.

Nevertheless it is assumed that Revelations 19:11-19 is speaking of Jesus but since it is symbolic we cannot be sure as it may actually be talking about God’s word. As God’s Word has taken on the qualities if Jesus Christ I do not see where there is a real difference unless you confuse that actual word of God with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the…

Jesus said, “not my will but your will”.
If that was God speaking through him in the manner by which I think you are implying, then did the Father do Jesus will?
But if you understand what I am saying, then it means that Jesus did the Father’s will and spoke, but only what he heard the Father say.
So who is it then that doesn’t understand John…[Read more]

Understood what, that “before Abraham, I am”?
I believe his words but you seem to imply the opposite (correct me if I have you wrong on this view).
You are basically saying “Before Abraham, I wasn’t”?
That is what you believe regarding Jesus, right?

@EdJ, on the outset, that is the very same argument that @Lightenup came here with. I am curious, did Nick argue against her regarding this?

Hi T8,
“The spirit of Christ”, according to Nick’s belief, is the “HolySpirit”.

His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.

There is no relationship between the fires on earth and the lake of fire that is not on the earth.
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

Nick you consistently make the point that when it talks about salvation in scripture, you say that is for the saved. My question is a logical one based on that. Here are some verses that deal with salvation. I won’t quote the context because that would be too long, but you can read the context if you want.
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”…[Read more]

Yes love is neither bitter, argumentative, callous, arrogant, or self-seeking. It is patient, kind, bears all things, and yes it rejoices at the truth.
