The folly is to believe Jesus Christ was an ordinary man.
He was anything but as he spoke and worked in the power of the Spirit in him.
We can follow him through the death of water and the new life of baptism in the same Spirit.
Rom 6.4-8
Nick, the title is “The Ordinary Jesus Brigade”, not Jesus Christ.
What Nick is not telling you @m…[Read more]

The true Jesus is described in these words. You can deny them all you like, but this is the real Jesus.
For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. 2…[Read more]

This topic is really about exposing the Spirit of Error. While we know that the Trinity Doctrine is of the spirit of error, so it is with other doctrines that lie about who Jesus really is.
And just because a person opposes a certain error doesn’t mean that he is right, but he too can be in error. So it is with some here who hold the view t…[Read more]

t8,
None of disagrees that Jesus was born a normal man.
Any Jew is born holy. (Deuteronomy 7:6 and Exodus 22:31)
They are normal humans.
You too are part of the “Ordinary Jesus Brigade”.
I pity you. Cursed are those who trust in flesh.
I trust Jesus for my salvation, but to you, Nick, and Gene, you would be trusting in flesh which is cursed.

Hi t8,
God’s strength shows up best in weak vessels.
But you want to make an infant a Lord and anointed from birth.
Despite the lack of evidence of any such thing happening to him before birth or any manifestations before age 30.
This is a joke Nick. Clearly scripture testifies including the words of a holy angel who is higher than you being a…[Read more]

Hi Ed,
Only problem is that scripture says that Jesus was a man.
But it also says that Jesus was the Christ, the Lord, and the son of God.
He was born as such.
The Word that was with God became flesh. That holy child was called Jesus. But he existed before that as the Word of God.
And yes all things at some point come from God, even Christ.

I wouldn’t put a pet mouse among cats or a child among pedophiles. Likewise I would not put a Christian or Jewish child among those who follow the Koran to the letter.
Christians are almost extinct in large swathes of the Middle East. There is a reason for that.
“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of…[Read more]

I would love the opportunity to live in an Islamic country, as it would give me a chance to share with them what I know. And if you love what you believe in then nothing would hold you back.
Same, but I would not approve of Islam, whereas I think you are saying it has merit.

T8…..I AM NOT FLIP FLOPING, BOTTON LINE IS, Jesus was referencing GOD THE FATHER, AS THE ROCK, WHICH IS THE POWER, HE WOULD BUILD THE CHURCH BY. ROCK, POWER, ALL REFERENCE ONE GOD. Your effort to muddy the waters of truth changes nothing.
So hearing God is not that rock then?

Jesus Christ is called the true God and eternal life in 1 John 5:20.
So, both the Father AND the Son are the true God.Read 1 John 5:20 again Danny.
You will see that the true God being referred to has a son.
If that is Jesus, then tell me who Jesus son is?
A better explanation to that verse is…[Read more]
