Real quick Jodi since I’m real tired and about to call it a night…
An unblemished lamb is unblemished from birth, it doesn’t go from blemished to unblemished. Jesus didn’t go from imperfect to perfect. I have explained to you before that Jesus was “perfected” by His sufferings is meant to indicate a sense of completion of what He was sent to…[Read more]

Mike,
you said: Science sites also presented models of the most recent solar eclipse before it happened, explaining how the shadow on the earth would move from west to east across the USA, when it seemingly should have moved from east to west.
The moon moves counter clockwise around the earth, that is west to east, not east to west. The science…[Read more]

Jodi,
you asked Anthony this:
If Jesus was BEGOTTEN before the world was created, why on earth would God not just have made many Sons like your pre-existing son?? Why bother making the world and mankind at all?
A son like Jesus could not be made. He was eternal. Also, He was not made perfect, He always was perfect. Also, the day that those…[Read more]

Nick,
you said: Why would I look for a group of similar believers?
The body of Christ gathers together for encouraging one another and to learn about God’s Word and for taking communion, corporate worship and even discipline. Jesus went to the Synagogue on the Sabbath to gather with the Jews.
How can a toe not be with the foot or the finger with…[Read more]

Hi Dig4truth,
you said:
Both examples must have a firmament for this thought experiment to work. In the case of the car the firmament is the roof and in the airplane it is the body of the plane.
Without a firmament there could be no way that the Jenga blocks could stand up.
The layers of atmosphere provide that firm expanse. Other forces work…[Read more]

Hi Mike,
I’m sorry it has taken me so long to address this. I have been busy with my work and grandkids. I saw that you were mad that no one apologized to you because you believe that the verse that I gave you did not say what it did in fact say. The reason for not apologizing is because I believed that it was a good verse to debunk what you said…[Read more]

Nick, yes ask for wisdom. Anthony is on the right path. Nick, if you speak in tongues but have not love what does the Bible say about that?
1 Cor 13
The Excellence of Love
13 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
Maybe you can find a better approach than the role…[Read more]Lightenup replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 11 months ago
It is you Nick that does not know what the Son of God is, not Anthony. He is more than a person who became a son by an anointing.

I’m a member of His body, Nick. Of course all members of Christ love Him who is the Lord of lords, Jehovah our Righteousness, the Lord of Glory, the Lord of all.
I was wondering if you found a church that believes as you do. Seems like churches would be called St. Jesus of Nazareth or something similar if Jesus was truly only a saint.

Thank you Anthony for your posts and your time here. I agree with you. The Bible teaches that the Father and the Son are together as the one God, united by their Spirit. The Father is not God independently of the Son and the Spirit, and the Son is not independently God apart from the Father and the Spirit. If they are not independent of one…[Read more]

Hi Nick,
you said:
Jesus does not command us to love him but does expect our obedience.
Those 2 commandments command us to love everyone, which would include Jesus.

Seems to me that I could stack Jenga blocks on a fold down tray in an airplane on a smooth flight without a problem while it zooms through the sky following the curvature of the earth. A turbulent flight would be different.

Hi Gene,
Which commandment do you follow in regards for your love for Jesus, the first or the second? Can you answer the OP of the thread instead of veering off on a completely different direction?
Blessings,

Hi Mike,
You have not debunked where the birds fly, not if you really look at the Hebrew. The word “Firmament” evolved from Greek influence apparently, but was not the Hebrew definition.

Hi Nick,
I am saying that the heavenly eternal Son became the spirit of an infant.
Lightenup replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 11 months ago
Nick,
The heavenly Son by whom all things have been made both in heaven and on earth was, many years later, brought forth by the Holy Spirit to be the spirit part of the baby. Mary contributed to His flesh body that contained the spirit of the heavenly Son.
Thank you for your question, Nick.
God bless!

Jodi,
I am sure that bothers you that Jesus is the Lord from heaven. He is who He is…the Lord of lords, the Lord of all, Jehovah our Righteousness. He became man also. It’s in your Bible that you quote. What translation of the Bible do you use? Is it pagan too? I took those words out of your translation. You don’t have to like it.
Lightenup replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 11 months ago
Nick,
The heavenly Son was brought forth into the womb of Mary when she conceived by the Holy Spirit and filled the vessel of His flesh. John the Baptist, while in the womb knew this, but you don’t, why not?
