Adam,Well, at least you have been told about the idea that the Son of God was born of God on day 1 as the Light. Maybe you can tell me what that light is. You are aware that the sun, moon and stars were created on day four, right. Are you aware that a heavenly light-being appeared to Paul on the road to Damascus and said that He was Jesus?…[Read more]

Quote (gollamudi @ June 08 2008,14:39)Of course I agree with you brother Gene, as God is only the creator and Jesus is His true image and also he is the firstborn (in position or rank) of all God's creation. Yes God the father was doing every thing through Jesus by His Spirit. Thanks brother.AdamIt can't mean position or rank. That needs a…[Read more]

My dear brothers, WJ, Golla and Gene,(WJ I don't always answer you but there are different reasons, usually the posts move so rapidly that I get distracted, or I don't have the time right then but not because I don't want to discuss it with you, I just wanted you to know that). Hi Gollamundi,Yes there is one Holy Spirit that fills us. However, I think that the Spirit of the Son exists, can be sent into our heart, was within the prophets of old, and guides others. I believe that the Spirit of the Son is different than the Holy Spirit of the Father. I'm just reading the scriptures that I have quoted in the last couple…[Read more]

Quote (gollamudi @ June 06 2008,04:16)Hi LU,Once again you are deviating from the scriptures by interpreting that we received more than one Spirit. See Eph 4:4, 1 Cori 12:12-13 ” there is only one Spirit” not two, three or many. It is called Holy Spirit or Spirit of God or Spirit of Christ or Spirit of sonship, but not that all these names are…[Read more]

Hi Nick,I would say that the below passage indicates that oneness can happen amongst the joining of more than one things of the same type in some situations. For instance two flesh can become one flesh and when our spirit unites with God's spirit the two spirits apparently become one spirit. So, I think that the spirit of man can join with the…[Read more]

Hi Nick,Acts 16:6-87 and when they had come to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them; NASAnd here we have what is called the “Spirit of Jesus”. Hi Nick,The prophets of old had the Spirit of Christ before He was Jesus. In other words, the Spirit of Christ existed before Jesus was born a man.LU

Nick,Do you have the spirit of Nick or someone else? Did He have the spirit of Christ or someone else? Ya see what I mean? If He had the spirit of Christ, well that spirit pre-existed Christ's flesh. It was within the prophets of old. So, the spirit of Christ is a little different than normal man's because I haven't read any scripture that…[Read more]
