    @Jodi

    You’re welcome.

    You said:

    My understanding is that you see Jesus as existing as the same kind of being that our heavenly Father is, and that he is His only Son in that manner. You believe the angels (Sons of God) were created after Jesus.

    That is correct, Jodi. I also believe that the Son, according to the flesh, did not exist until the…[Read more]

    Jodi, there is no spirit of Christ without Christ.
    The Spirit of Christ was in the prophets of old (1 Peter 1:11).
    So again it is very clear that there is no spirit of Christ without Christ.

    God bless,

    Danny

    Hi Danny,

    They think the “spirit of Christ” is the “spirit of God” instead of Jesus’s spirit.
    It is sad to see people stray so far…[Read more]

    Hi Jodi,

    We read that the Spirit of Christ was in the prophets of old (1 Peter 1:11).
    This proves that Christ existed at that time, prior to His human existence.

    Hi Jodi, thanks for your reply.
    Well the Bible clearly says that we have the spirit of Jesus Christ.
    Not just the spirit of God the Father.
    Galatians 4:6 “Because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba! Father!”
    As a matter of fact, we have BOTH the spirit of the Father and of His Son.
    John 14:…[Read more]

    If Jesus Christ is just a man, why did Paul write, “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME (Gal. 2:20)?”
    How can a mere man live in Paul and the rest of the New Testament believers all at once without also being God?

    Hi Jodi, Who came in the flesh?

    words or Jesus Christ?

    Jesus came in the flesh and “is” still coming in the flesh today. Christ in you the hope of glory (Col 1:27).

    1 John 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;

    John uses the perfect tense here in Greek,…[Read more]

    Hi Jodi, The Word in John 1 is Jesus Christ.

    “The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

    Hi LU,

    YOU:

    @Jodi,

    Thanks for your response. I have got to give you credit for trying but at the same time missing why Jesus is in the lineage of Abraham to Joseph (according to the flesh). It was because Jesus was born of Joseph’s wife, Mary.

    ME: Matthew directly goes against your position above, he gives us the BOOK of the G…[Read more]

    @Jodi,

    Thank you for your response.

    Do you realize that pronouns in Greek are written in a way to show if they refer to a female or a male? That word “whom” refers to a female, so, it does not refer to Joseph, it refers to Mary. See the “RelPro-GFS” under “whom” below in Matthew 1:16? That “F” stands for “female.” If it meant Joseph, it would be…[Read more]

    I would like people to explain their understanding to, “this day I have begotten thee”.

    Your painfully long and intellectual doctrinal justifications do not have the ring of truth.
    Keep it short and simple. Let scripture speak.

    And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. And the dragon and his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. Man is the object of God’s affections and hopes. He does not glorify Satan but pleads with men. Since the idolatry of Adam and Eve in Eden man has belonged as slaves to the oppressive kingdom of the god of this world. God’s plan of rescue involved the prophets, the Law and now eternal safety in the Son. Grace is available for every step.

    Every fact is to be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

    Rev 13.9 and Rev 20.2 confirm each other but you prefer your own ideas?
