Charles,Wakeup is right on this one. All throughout the scriptures, God has chosen to give His Holy Spirit to CERTAIN people – not all people.
Luke 11

I am not concerned with the words as words can mean many things. I am concerned with the truth that can be expressed with those words. The Jews translate Isaiah 9:6 one way and Trinitarians another but the words each uses can be used to express the truth though neither group meant it.
