Hi t8,
Jesus Christ spoke the truth in a spirit of love.
It upset a lot of people.
December 7, 2015 at 1:33 pm#805771ProclaimerParticipantThat is true.
And what is love.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love has fruit that we can see. We see this in Jesus Christ. He loved even his enemies. While they were infuriated by him, he loved them and still gave his life for them.
December 7, 2015 at 4:07 pm#805784NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Yes it rejoices with the truth and tries to drag some out of the fire.
it does not alter the truth to tickle ears.
December 11, 2015 at 10:52 am#805994ProclaimerParticipantYes love is neither bitter, argumentative, callous, arrogant, or self-seeking. It is patient, kind, bears all things, and yes it rejoices at the truth.
December 11, 2015 at 11:45 am#806006NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
We are not leaders of men but servants of God.
Truth is not proven by universal acceptance.
December 13, 2015 at 5:37 am#806067GeneBalthropParticipantT8…..So why are you not “rejoicing” about the truth being told to you about Jesus not “preexisting” his berth on this earth then?
peace and love to you and yours………..gene
December 13, 2015 at 12:07 pm#806096NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
You recognised the false doctrine of trinity for what is it.
But now you offer a demigod instead.
Listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.
December 15, 2015 at 6:56 am#806122NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
If this man was not from God he could do nothing
Jn 9
December 17, 2015 at 10:38 am#806202ProclaimerParticipantHi t8,

Correct. Jesus said he was the way, the truth, and the life. It is he who has the keys of death and the way of life. He is the truth.
And he said that his sheep hear his voice. Obviously those who are not of the truth will not hear the truth.
Jesus said, “before Abraham, I am”.
Some here say, something to the tune of ‘before Abraham he wasn’t”.
If I had to choose, then you know which one.
December 17, 2015 at 10:46 am#806203NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
The Spirit of Christ was in Jesus and spoke through him.
The Spirit of Christ was in the beginning with God.
Well before Abraham and Jesus
December 17, 2015 at 10:55 am#806204NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
You told us the Spirit spoke through Jesus but when we look at the words you attribute them to the man.
Why are you confused about this?
December 17, 2015 at 11:03 am#806205ProclaimerParticipantEphesians 3:21
to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. But it is talking about generations of the Earth, I hear you say.
Jude 1:25
to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.In hindsight I hear you say?
John 1:3
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. But that is the Logos in God, and Jesus was not the Logos that was with God in the beginning, I hear you say.
Colossians 1:15-18
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. But it doesn’t say Jesus here. It again could be God’s logos and then it switches to Jesus in verse 18, I hear you say.
1 Corinthians 8:6
And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and … yet to us there is one God the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one …. Of whom are all things; all created beings and things; angels are of him, are …But this is in memory of him. God made all things with him in mind. Remember that he was not the son of God yet, I hear you say.
Hebrews 1:2
but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.Okay so he made the universe through his son. But that is not what it really means, I hear you say.
You know what guys. I all hear you say are EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES.
John 8:58
“I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”I believe him and I cannot force anyone to believe his own words. All I can do is show his words to you. Up to you and you alone.
Revelation 22:16
“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”Revelation 19:13
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.Amen! He existed in the form of God, emptied himself, and came in the flesh. He is now with the Father in the glory he had with him before the cosmos.
Why draw Jesus genealogy only in the flesh? The flesh counts for nothing. He also existed in the form of God. You can draw his ancient origins back to the Logos that was with God.
December 17, 2015 at 11:19 am#806206NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Indeed the Spirit is of God.
The Word was with God and was God.
But the man Jesus was only anointed with the Word at the Jordan.
The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us
December 17, 2015 at 11:29 am#806208NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
You say we offer excuses for not accepting a man lived in heaven?
Why not listen to what the Spirit said through the man?
December 17, 2015 at 11:55 am#806210NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Are these your excuses for not believing in the Spirit?
December 17, 2015 at 12:00 pm#806211GeneBalthropParticipantT8……you are following the exact path Satan wants us all to follow. That is why i have tried over and over to get all here to understand what the apostle Paul was talking about in 2 Ths 2, you are following the exact path Satan and his ministers want us all to follow.
SATAN WANTS US TO BELIEVE JESUS WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN WE ARE. You need to start questioning some of he wording you are reading espically words like “by” and “through” words that trinitarian translators could twist there meanings from the original texts. Jesus never saidhe was “alive” before Abraham, thats you and others forcing the text to make it come out that way.
AS FAR as the “image of God”, all of mankind is made in his image. Why can’t you see how you also removed Jesus away from your likeness of him, and that is exactly what Satan wants you to believe. We have told you the truth and you said you love the truth, then why are you rejecting it then? It grieves me continually that you will not even consider what we are telling you T8. WE are trying to pull you out of all those false teaching you are holding on to. Can’t you even SEE Satan’s work is to, SEPERATE US FROM JESUS ‘ LIKENESS? THAT IS WHAT THE TRINITY AND THE TEACHING OF PREEXISTENCE IS ALL ABOUT?
IT IS A DOCTRINE OF SEPERATION THAT SATAN HIMSELF PRODUCED TO CAUSE people not to see GOD’S WORK IN ALL HUMANITY, WHICH IS THE SAME WORK HE HAS DONE IN THE MAN JESUS THE CHRIST.
He that has an ear, let him hear.
peace and love to you all and yours. ………gene
December 17, 2015 at 12:01 pm#806212ProclaimerParticipantYou told us the Spirit spoke through Jesus but when we look at the words you attribute them to the man.
Why are you confused about this?
Jesus himself speaks only what he hears the Father saying. He chooses to speak the truth only. He doesn’t speak on his own accord. He came in his Father’s name, not his own name. I am not confused about this. I believe what I wrote. Is Jesus just flesh to you? Because flesh cannot choose. We either choose to follow the flesh or the Spirit. We are not the flesh.
December 17, 2015 at 12:04 pm#806213kerwinParticipantNick,
I disagree with “But the man Jesus was only anointed with the Word at the Jordan” but the rest of what you wrote is fine.
December 17, 2015 at 12:13 pm#806214ProclaimerParticipantHi t8,
You say we offer excuses for not accepting a man lived in heaven?
That is simply not true Nick. I didn’t say that. I spelled it out for you that he existed in the form of God, emptied himself, and came in the flesh.
I would appreciate if you and others witnessed correctly of me. So I need to correct you and others about this.
I do not teach that he existed as a man in Heaven prior to being conceived through Mary. I have never taught that anywhere ever.
December 17, 2015 at 12:15 pm#806215ProclaimerParticipantT8……you are following the exact path Satan wants us all to follow.
My post was all scripture with your rebuttals to those scripture. And that is what Satan wants me to believe, yet is was just scripture?
I would have thought the opposite Gene.
And the rest of your post is exactly what I said before. Excuses.
When you have to excuse dozens of scriptures on the subject, that is when you should think that perhaps your take is not correct to begin with.
You will know when you believe the truth because scripture will agree with your view.
Just saying.
