Quote (Marlin1 @ Nov. 29 2012,12:02) Quote ohn 14:23 parallels Rom 8:8-9? These two verses parallel each other… “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh,
but in the Spirit, if so be that (1)the Spirit of God(HolySpirit) dwell in you.
Now if any man have not the (2)Spirit of Christ(Spirit of Jesus), he is none of his.” (Rom 8:8-9)“Pentecost”(117) was the fulfillment of both of these verses. (Link)
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father
will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” (John 14:23)(1)the Spirit of God(HolySpirit)
(2)Spirit of Christ(Spirit of Jesus)God bless
Ed JBrother Ed,
It seems that we disagree here, you have just broken the 1st commandment and made two Gods.

If you say Jesus was God, who was he praying to? <– please do answer
What you're saying doesn't add up with Scriptures.
Because you cannot give a reasonable answer to my question.
It will certainly sound like circular gibberish, but please do give us an answer.God bless

Ed JBrother Ed,
That is the popular opinion. Even unto my dying breath, I will tell the truth.
It is the revealed TRUTH for this last age.***************************************************************************
Just like ninety percent of the Christians in the WORLD believe in the TRINITY of three persons in the Godhead. Yet it is FALSE and comes from the Catholic Church.Just like water baptism has been changed from the NAME to titles.
With sprinkling and baby baptism.Just like being taught the first SIN was eating an APPLE.
The list goes on and on.
And we wonder why the POWER of GOD is NOT with the so called CHURCH. It has left the Word, Who is God.
Trying to cut God into little pieces that our minds can understand. Some 3, some 2, some big God and little god, some Jesus only. All are WRONG.
****************************************************************************meaning of Jesus (Jehovah becomes our Saviour)
Scripture says that there is only ONE Saviour and that is GOD, right.
ISA 43:11 † I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
ISA 45:21 † Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22 † Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. That same God over in the NT.
ACTS 13:23 † Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
I TIM 4:10 † For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
Here Paul saying the living God is our Saviour, right?
II TIM 1:10 † But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
Now Paul says that Jesus Christ is our Saviour.
It is not another Saviour or God, it is the SAME God all the TIME.JEHOVAH of the OLD Testament is JESUS of the NEW.
It's a paradox, God became flesh and dwelt among US.God Bless

Ed JBrother Ed,
At no time have I said that Jesus created Himself. So why would you think the flesh man Jesus would not pray to God the Father.
That is a Jesus only teaching, that Jesus, the man, was always God and created Himself.
I have been called Jesus only, but I am not.God created the man Jesus for Himself to dwell in. The Word became Flesh, He was Emanuel (GOD with US)
