Isn’t the spirit of the person actually the person? Think about it…when a person dies, his spirit leaves his body. People say at the side of the open casket that that person is no longer there but is with the Lord. That person is with the Lord. The spirit of the person is considered the person in that context. Get it?In a way, the Spirit of God is considered God…as I understand it, although God doesn’t die but as His absolute presence is in one place (in heaven), His omnipresence can be in many places at the same time. It seems to me that God’s spirit is how God is omnipresent. The absolute presence is God and the omnipresence is also God.

but what you say is of men, God is God ,and God is a spirit but this is also true for us that God is spirit in body and soul ,
we are human and so like his image we have our own spirit and soul ,our body being made of the flesh,
when we die that is the flesh but our soul (the gift of being a being ,that becomes us while we live ,and when death occurs,the soul goes to a place according to who we are ;the righteous in one place the wicked in another ect but without the body the soul is death according to the flesh and sso as no works under the sun.

whether it is good or evil.The “spirit of truth” was a new spirit, it is the Father and Son combined in one gift. The “Holy spirit” and the “comforter” are two different things. Jesus said mankind would benefit from his return to his place in heaven because we would receive this NEW gift. All truth seekers in the world benefit from this gift that is still present.

1. When we are born with the “Spirit of God” we don’t become ‘know it alls’, we instead speak of God’s salvation.
2. When Jesus baptizes repentant sinners with the “Spirit of God” we repeat what we know to be true about him.God bless

Jesus was there with them when he spoke to his apostles,He was their comfort.
There is one truth,and that is the spirit of truth;the Holy spirit.
There is no other. The Holy spirit is in Jesus when he spoke to them.
That spirit; He did sent at pantecost.
True seekers today can have that same spirit if they seek,and feed on the flesh of Jesus.
And fill themselves with His spirit.The spirit of truth is contained in the scriptures.
The more you seek;the more you are filled with the spirit.

God is a spirit,this is true, His spirit is Holy and true.
His spirit is righteousness,love,wisdom, the spirit of creating,the spirit of justice,and you name it.

Yet God can dwell in creation by his Spirit.To me that is the difference between God and his Spirit.
What is God? He is the Spirit.
Who is God? He is the Father of all.We are created in the IMAGE of God.
We still have the image,but the spirit is not of God,but of the world.
Jesus came to teach us how to renew that spirit as the spirit of God.
The spirit of the flesh is being changed into the spirit of Christ/God,
through the Word of God.
