Edj….IS Jesus the messiah? If you believe he is, that makes him an “ANOINTED” BEING, AND IF YOU BELIEVE HE WAS ANOINED, then ask yourself what was he anointed with, was it not the spirit of the living God, the same spirit we are anointed with, that makes us also in christ or (the anointing) that is what the spirit of “CHRISTO’S IS. THE “ONE SPIRIT FROM GOD IN ALL AND THROUGH ALL”, EVEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH.

EDJ….WHAT IS A MESSIAH? , WHAT QUALIFIES A PERSON TO BE A MESSIAH?, “ANSWER”, HE MUST BE A HUMAN BEING WHO HAS BEEN “ANOINTED” WITH the “SPIRIT” of the Living God, Just likE MOSES AND SEVENTY ELDERS OF Israel were, and so also they WHO HAVE RECIVED THAT SAME SPIRIT, FROM THE “Same” Living GOD.
The Spirit of Christ IS THE HOLY SPIRIT SENT FROM GOD THE FATHER. There is no human CHRISTO’S, THE SPIRIT ITSELF IS THE CHRISTOS, WHICH CAN BE PUT ON A HUMAN BEING. JESUS IS “THE” ANOINTED ONE, OR CHRISTO’S OF GOD, THIS ANOINTING IS NOT THE MAN JESUS, IT IS WHAT WAS ADDED TO THE MAN JESUS AT THE JORDAN RIVER. THAT IS WHEN THE SPIRIT CAME TO BE “IN” THE FLESH. THE SPIRIT ITSELF NEVER ACTUALLY BECAME FLESH IT CAME TO BE “IN” THE FLESH.
WHEN ONE RECIEVES THE ANOINTING SPIRIT HE IS THE SON OF THE LIVIN GOD, AND GOD THE FATHER WHO IS SPIRIT ABIDES “IN” HIM, JUST AS HE WAS “IN” JESUS, WHO IS CALLED THE ANOINTED ONE OF GOD.

Hi Gene,
No guarantee that those who are given the Spirit are saved.
The seed must take root and grow into a tree with useful fruit.
The building must survive the testing by fire.
Jn 1.12
But as many as received he gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in his name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

This verse shows that the Spirit of Christ can be used as a term for the Holy Spirit..the Spirit of God and Christ.

Not sure about you but I do not know everything.

But I do know God is One.
The Spirit is One.
Edj….Partly right, a messiah also, is a “human” being who has been anointed, with the spirit of God. AS the man Jesus was at the jordan river, where he recieved the anointing spirit into him. He was then born again into the family of God, just as we must be born again, before we can also be in the family of God. You must be born again we are told.
Jesus himself is not the anointing (christo’s spirit) he recieved the anointing of the Spirit. Many get that mixed up, thinkig Jesus himself is the anointing spirit of God.

Nick….The ground that is perparid by God will produce THE fruit SOWN IN IT. But those who try to perfect their own ground AND BRING FORTH their OWN fruit will fail. FOR WE ARE SAVED BY Grace through “FAITH”, GIVEN BY GOD TO US, THAT IT MIGHT BE BY GRACE and NOT OF HUMAN “SELF WORKS”. “FOR IT IS GOD WHO WORKS “IN” US “BOTH” TO WILL AND DO OF HIS GOOD PLEASURE.
But fearful and unbeliving will have their part in the lake of fire, which is the second death, it says. We who trust in God are “wating” for that rightiousness to “Come”.
“Nothing is perfected in fear, for fear has torment, but perfect love cast out fear”. We are told.

Psm 81:10….”I am the LORD thy GOD, which brought you out of the land oF Egypt: open thy mouth “WIDE” and I will fill it”.
Now Consider the little birds in a nest, see how wide they open theirs mouths toward their mother with intensity, and their mother gives them their life giving food so they can live. EVEN SO IT SHOULD BE WITH US, BECAUSE OUR LIFE IS IN THE HAND OF OUR GOD.
