ParticipantHi,
The way of Jesus is by following him into his death and resurrection [Rom5]by repentance[lk13, Acts 17], submision to water baptism and rebirth of the Spirit of God [acts 2 and Jn3]No magic salvation of all men was achieved 2000 years ago.

…But will be at the “consummation”. When God will be “ALL in All”.1Cor.15:25-28 …25 For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy is being abolished: death.
27 For He subjects all under His feet. Now whenever He may be saying that all is subject, it is evident that it is outside of Him Who subjects all to Him.
28 Now, whenever all may be subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also shall be subjected to Him Who subjects all to Him, that God may be All in all.)November 17, 2008 at 6:02 am#112074NickHassan

ParticipantNick…..Salvation is not a matter of Him that wills, but of God that calls and gives through GRACE Salvation to all he CALLS. You did not chose GOD He chose to save YOU, And he does it the the operation of (HIS) GRACE (God's influencing on the heart) your works have nothing to do with it. You must put yourself to death and that includes your so-call “free will choices”. WE ARE (HIS) WORKMANSHIP (CREATED) UNTO GOOD WORKS. Why can't you get that in your head brother. Salvation (IS) a CREATION of GOD.
love and peace to you and yours……………………..gene

Many are called but few are chosen.
Grace enables but does not force.
You can choose to resist.November 17, 2008 at 8:01 pm#112108chosenone

These words are to the Jews. Matt.15:24.We must “correctly cut the word of truth” (2Tim.2:15)

ParticipantCO,
Is it not wonderful that God's servants preserved those words for us too?November 17, 2008 at 8:36 pm#112116NickHassan
ParticipantCO,
Removing the gospel from the starving heathen nations is not correctly cutting the Word.
If you were to do that you would not preach the philosophy of universalism.
Jesus never taught it and he is our teacher, not you.January 7, 2009 at 5:32 pm#116868NickHassan
ParticipantHi,
Note the kindness of our God.
Acts16
31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.1Cor7
14For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. The blessings on the sons of God stretch to their families as well.

ParticipantHi,
John 1:12
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,The right to BECOME.
Not the claim that we are already.January 8, 2009 at 1:19 am#116888chosenone
ParticipantThe words of Jesus “you must be born anew”, was to the nation of Israel, not to others. The message to the 'nations', by Paul, when we are indwelt by the 'Holy Spirit” was that we are a “new creation”.
Blessings.

Participantso you say CO,
Others of all nations follow Jesus and his wayJanuary 8, 2009 at 2:07 am#116894chosenone
ParticipantNH.
If the 'others' of all nations follow Jesus and His teachings, then they must still be circumsized, tithe, stone adulterers, keep the Sabbath, and all the festivals, including the “day of stonement” which includes fasting for the day, and all of the “Law”. These things Jesus taught while His ministy was to Israel, and still under the “Law”.
Is this how you see it?Blessings.

ParticipantCO,
You must discern the difference
between his teachings given to the Jews in response to their questions about the Law
from his preaching of the WayJanuary 8, 2009 at 4:59 am#116903942767
