ya it’s been a while. I spent like a couple hours a day on here for about 8 years, but I basically switched to much shorter and even more frustrating conversations on YouTube about 5 years ago.
Im not the person I once was. This website broke me.
t8, the light you spoke about is love (love is the truth and God is love so darkness is the absence of love), and those in the dark hate seeing love and compassion if it is towards those they hate.
If the rest of the world followed NZ’s example the world would be a better place, especially if it extended to everything. There was a picture going around Facebook of a NZ woman hugging a Muslim woman and it said “This was your home and you should have been safe here.” I felt that personally because my life wasn’t good. The love NZers displayed after the shooting needs to extend to everyone and it would definitely help NZ and the world if people were accepted for their differences and loved. That is all the world needs.
BTW, I think Jacinda was admirable.
The law changes are a good idea, especially against hate speech. There’s no need for that.

Miia…..GOOD ANSWER, I agree with that to. Edj….has a fixation against moslims, he thinks they are the ANTICHRIST. Pure garbage, there are some very good Moslims, and there are some very bad and evil ones, but that is the same with all races and religions I this whole world.
Years ago my Father gave me some very good advise, his brother hated blacks, and when visiting from Texas one time, saw me playing with some black neighbors that lived down the road, he ran them off, and took me aside and told me never to play with them, because they were not like we were, they had an Ape like mind and were more like monkeys, then humans, like white people were. But my father heard him tell me this and waited till he lift and went back to Texas, and said to me, I heard what Uncle Woody told you Gene, and said he was completely wrong , there is good Black people and evil Black people , there is Good White people and evil ones also, there is good and evil in all races of people, then he told me, “never judge a person by the color of his skin, judge a person as he stands before you, no matter what his race, if he has not done you wrong you have no reason to say anything bad about him, or his race either.” That has always kept me in good standing with everyone no matter what race or religion they are.
I think NEW ZEALAND, HAS PRESENTED A GOOD EXAMPLE TO ALL THE WORLD. IMO

Thanks Gene I hear you, totally agree with your dad.
I am european (Irish mainly), but my friends and ex and kids are maori /part maori. Colour of skin has nothing to do with anything. My (christian) son has had a best friend since primary school who is muslim, and his friends muslim parents are lovely to him. And one of the kindest hearted people I know a good friend is an atheist. As someone said ‘I don’t care if you’re black, white, fat, skinny, gay, straight(christian, muslim), if you’re nice to me, I’ll be nice to you, it’s as simple as that.’
There are good and evil people in every religion and there is the great white throne judgment where all the rest of humanity (who don’t know Christ) are judged on their ‘deeds’ and there are those from them in the book of life.
Ed, what do you mean Gene is bearing false witness you have always maintained that the “beast” is Islam.
And I have maintained that the beast ‘might be’ the internet www /666 which you are a part of, but you always insisted that Hebrew has no w, even though ancient Hebrew does.

I agree in principle, however I find this all very naive. The world is not a nice place and will never be a paradise. We are told that love for the world is not compatible with love for God. That said, of course you can be in the world but no of it. But let’s be real here.
The Moriori were a peaceful people that would exemplify peace and non-violence. I greatly admire that culture, but they were all slaughtered by the Maori with very few left today. As we all know, the Maori were fierce warriors and often attacked each other. The point I make is we could lay down arms and that is admirable. but we could all be slaughtered. For me, I don’t think it is up to the government to open us up for slaughter or conquest, but that we as individuals choose to lay our lives down for God, truth, love, and peace. It is basic logic that if America laid down all its arms, nukes, and destroyed all weapons, the world would not follow, but America would be invaded on one side by China and Russia to the other. Then they might build a wall in the middle somewhere. Okay, I’m speculating, but something like that would happen.
I believe that it is up to God’s people to lay their lives down, not for a leader of a country to do it for their citizens. And any leader who thinks they can change the world by disarming their populace and acting like Gandhi is naive in my opinion. Disarming populations has never worked out anywhere as far as I know. Where it has happened the people show regret as they become totally controlled without fear of reprisals.
I’m not making an argument for guns either. I hate them and think one in my house would be more dangerous than not having one and not being able to defend my family if my home was invaded. But I can make that call because I live in a safe country. But many places are not like that. Further, the reason Americans were allowed guns was to protect against tyranny. And guess what, there is a tyranny that is trying to take power over there, but that is another story.
As a stark reminder, like Venezuela’s latest leaders, Jacinda is a Socialist and both disarmed or are disarming their people. And look what happened to Venezuela when they did that. Prior to all this, they were the most prosperous nation in that part of the world. My wife is from Colombia and she had family that fled to Venezuela to escape the corruption and violence in Colombia. Now Venezuelans by the millions are entering Colombia for refuge.

Be sensible people. No one is saying Muslims are Antichrist, but that Islam is.
Germany tried to take over Europe, but we do not lump all Germans as evil do we?
Obviously there were good and bad Germans as there are good and bad people in Islam.
But guess what? Average Germans didn’t speak up when it mattered and the NAZI Party got into power and things changed dramatically from there. You will also find few Muslims condemn and outright oppose Sharia Law and Jihad including attacks on the West, Jews, Christians, etc. So just as not all Germans were Nazis, so all Muslims will not engage in Jihad. But if they say nothing, then they can allow it to happen. As the saying goes, evil happens when good people do nothing.
FYI, this writing will show you why some think Islam is Antichrist. Be open minded. The writing doesn’t claim this is the absolute truth but that it is food for thought on the subject of who and what is the Antichrist.
T8…..the word Antichrist, has nothing to do with any religion, unless they say that JESUS WAS Not “anointed” by God.
The word in simple terms means anti (against) christo’s (anointed ) another words, those That believe Jesus did not “have” to be, anointed by GOD, inorder to be the MESSIAH OF GOD. The word applies to”christanity” more then to others.
But I do agree with you as far as keeping our arms goes, our forfather’s were very insitefull and knew what could happen, if we wern’t allowed to keep and bear arms. Governments can change, and that very thing is happening in our country right now, and has been over the last 30 years, those running for office in the Democratic party are pushing for socialist ideas, but thanks be to God we have a strong Presendent in Trump who is trying to restore our GOVERNMENT, AND GET IT AGAIN ON THE RIGHT PATH. Pray for us, we are in dangerous times here, and what happens to us will certanily effect the whole world. We need Jesus to return and set up the Kingdom of God on this whole earth.
