Mike……..No WORD can “be” FLESH, because Flesh is PHYSICAL MATTER, and WORDS are “INTELLIGENT UTTERANCES” SPIRITUAL Driven. God who is SPIRIT was “IN” Jesus speaking through Him to us , Just as he was the prophets of old. for God who spoke to us in times past in different way through the Prophets, has spoken to us in these latter days, “THROUGH” a Son.
God and his words are one you can not separate God from his words. Jesus is not a God of any kind He became a Son of God when He received the holy Spirit at the Jordan, That is why a voice from heaven said thou art my Son “THIS DAY” I (God) have “BEGOTTEN YOU”. Not a time in the Past but “THIS DAY” Jesus was begotten of GOD the FATHER. IMO

I am not seeing what you are seeing as I know that Jesus was established as heir of all things when he was made King of every thing in heaven and on earth. Being made Kind is not the same as being made the one true God. He instead inherited the role of the word of God.

I don't need to contradict the passage as it is your understanding of it that is mistaken. The bias of the translators may have misled you as The Emphatic Diaglott New Testiment translation states it as:
2 whom he appointed an heir of all things, (on account of whom also the ages he made,)
This same translation agrees with Mike on John 1:1c.
