You seem to have built a wall around your current knowledge and your only interest is in defending it against further possible truth.
I guess tradition holds fast to it's prisoners.

From (The Book Of Yahweh The Holy Scriptures)
Yahchanan ( Hebrew which means Yahweh is Merciful )
English John 1:1-5
1: In the beginning was the PLAN of Yahweh and the PLAN was with Yahweh, and the PLAN was Yahweh's.
2: The same PLAN was in the beginning with Yahweh.
3: All things were done according to it, and without it
nothing was done , that was done.
4: In this PLAN was life, and that life was the light to mankind.
5: Now that light shines in the darkness, but the darkness does not take hold of it.PLAN: Translated from the Greek LOGOS- meaning something said including the thoughts; by implication: a topic or subject of set discourse; also reasoning with the mental faculties, and motive. Thayer's Greek Lexicon, Page 380-382. This Greek word LOGOS shows to be itself the Greek translation of the ORIGINAL Hebrew word DABAR, which means: Yahweh's revealed will….His WHOLE PLAN and purpose for mankind. Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, Volume 4, Page 870-871.

The word logos has been defined as “the thoughts behind the words used”.that fits quite well with all uses of the word logos.
Since plans begin with thoughts, plan maybe correct, but may assume a bit much.
Yet, from the angle that God had a plan already in mind for man's redemption does support the use of the word plan.
God, having foreknowledge, would have known that Adam and Eve would sin and planned ahead to redeem mankind.
But from our point of view, logos must be scriptures.
Figuratively, it does refer to Jesus Christ, for he is God's word/plan for man's redemption in the flesh.
Likewise, since God's word came from God and God only. II Timothy 3:16, and God's word is what He communicated, we can say that the logos is God as well.
the word 'rhema' means word, but with focus on the individual words used. Logos is communicated by rhema.
Thus as we read John 1 (and all passages with logos in them)
most often is simply a message that is being communicated.
Since Jesus Christ is God's communication/word/plan for man's redemption in the flesh, logos, at times refers to Jesus Christ.
And since God is the source of his communication, at times it refers to God as well.
also logos refers to any communication by anyone.
And that is not to say that logos could have more than one particular meaning in any passage.
In the beginning God, the word.
And the word (the words of scripture) was with God, that is God already knew what He would have written down to be scripture. He does have the ability to plan ahead, especially since he does have foreknowledge. Like wise, he had knowledge that Jesus Christ would be the fulfillment of that plan of redemption.
Most certainly Jesus Christ was foreknown by God.
This is getting too long.

February 22, 2012 at 2:16 pm#280030cavedaveParticipantI have to agree a very good answer Nick.
I have been thinking on sticking around seems there are a few who are truly His and it may be a place to hang out for a season we will see. My only real concern was time and not to be wasting it. I guess if there is even one who is really his and we could be of help it is worth the effort. We will see.
Any way good answer Nick.February 22, 2012 at 5:37 pm#280037NickHassanParticipantHi B,
