Just as a reminder of what the scriptures say to those who believe that John 1:1 says 'and the word was a god' and are saying that there are two God/gods:

Jesus had his own spirit, the spirit of Jesus, which is the same as we have our own spirit, but then, also, Jesus had the Holy Spirit which he received at the Jordan river.
Is that what you mean?
Doesn't Christ mean the anointed, 'The Christ' or The 'Christos', so then the spirit of Christ would be the same as the Holy Spirit?
And then is the Spirit of Jesus, which is in Heaven now, but the eternal spirit, the Holy Spirit, is here with us on earth, joining us to heaven – to the Father and to Jesus,

one (in purpose) with God's “HolySpirit”; and Jesus became
“The Christ”; then the spirit of Jesus (after Jordan) was called the “Spirit of Christ”.God bless

How many Gods were there wen God almighty made a god out of Moses ..??? Two and more all the gods of Egypt ,but this does never change the status of the only almighty God Jehovah,

DT 18:18 ‘I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.this needs understanding

Hi Gene.For us there is but one God,
And we agree that in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.
We agree that Jesus is our Lord and our elder and our teacher and we love Him, but we also know that Jesus has the same God and the same Father.
So we know that when these people try to say that John did not mean what he said, and that there are 'two Gods' in that verse, …we know what we believe.
