Mike,
Quote Anyway, I'm not about to be sidetracked by unscriptural nonsense. Hardly, since it is literally what Scripture states but you do not believe it.
Believe God does as he says and that Jesus does as God says.

Kand you know that the scriptures are saying that THE WORD OF GOD his not his spoken words right
because in the beginning means before any thing else was created ,I mean before their was anyone next to him, because if Christ was not the first of his creation then God as you say would have been mute and deaf ,and so as you try to say that God first creation has been his voice right because no one can speak without a voice right
why is true understanding so important you think

Quote and you know that the scriptures are saying that THE WORD OF GOD his not his spoken words right The Word of God is God's spoken or written Word.
Jesus is human flesh and human soul.
The Word was made flesh in him.
Jesus is called by the name of the Word.
Jesus was created through the Word.
The Word is not created through Jesus as the Word exists first.

kTHAT IS NOT WHAT SCRIPTURES ARE SAYING THAT IS ONLY WHAT kerwin THINK AND SAY ,and what kerwin think and say his not the words of God it is his own words ,and no one tolt him to say that just that he believe what he wants to believe and that is what he said ,

Jammin,Scripture does not state that Christ is literally the Word and therefore you are speaking a fiction. It does say that John saw a time when he is called by the name of the Word.
Stop believing in teachings based on the principles of this world and instead believe in those based on the principles of godliness.
are you sure??here is what the bible says
John 1:1-14New Life Version (NLV)
Christ Lived Before the World Was Made1 The Word (Christ) was in the beginning. The Word was with God. The Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 He made all things. Nothing was made without Him making it. 4 Life began by Him. His Life was the Light for men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness. The darkness has never been able to put out the Light.
John the Baptist Tells of the Coming of Christ6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came to tell what he knew about the Light so that all men might believe through him. 8 John was not the Light, but he was sent to tell about the Light.
9 This true Light, coming into the world, gives light to every man. 10 He came into the world. The world was made by Him, but it did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, but His own did not receive Him. 12 He gave the right and the power to become children of God to those who received Him. He gave this to those who put their trust in His name. 13 These children of God were not born of blood and of flesh and of man’s desires, but they were born of God. 14 Christ became human flesh and lived among us. We saw His shining-greatness. This greatness is given only to a much-loved Son from His Father. He was full of loving-favor and truth.
read that over and over again especially verse 14
it tells us that the WORD is Christ himself.
that is what the rev 19.13 also tells usJanuary 1, 2013 at 12:04 pm#326534jamminParticipantQuote (kerwin @ Jan. 01 2013,16:34) T, Quote and you know that the scriptures are saying that THE WORD OF GOD his not his spoken words right The Word of God is God's spoken or written Word.

12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.Are these verses still talking about the Word of God from verse 1? YES or NO?
Wakeup has pre-answered “YES”. What do the rest of you say? 2B? Kerwin? Gene? Ed?
January 1, 2013 at 4:08 pm#326540GeneBalthropParticipantMike……….I for one say God and His word and His light are all tied together as one and the same being. So Yes as long as you keep them all part or and aspect as Kerwin said, of the one GOD.
Now what is you point brother?……………………………………..gene
January 1, 2013 at 4:10 pm#326541mikeboll64BlockedOkay Gene.
So, your answer is “YES”, John is STILL talking about the same Word in verses 12-13 as he was in verse 1, right?
January 1, 2013 at 4:21 pm#326543GeneBalthropParticipantMike ……….Yes God who give us the understanding who Jesus “IS” also gives us the right to be called the Childern of God , and that is the what Vers 13 is referencing . These are childern that are born not of natural desent nor of human decision nor of a husbands “WILL”, but of or by “GOD.”
All of this is done BY GOD the Father and all who are born of the Spirit are called Childern of GOD both Sons and Daughters “childern” of ONE GOD, by the Operation of that one GOD.
So what is you point now Mike?
peace and love to you and yours……………………………………………………..gene
January 1, 2013 at 4:53 pm#326544GeneBalthropParticipantMike……….Would you go back and read what Gabriel said to Mary in Luke 1:35………> Holy Spirit will overshadow you . For that reason “precisely” the baby to be Begotten (fathered) will be called the Son of God.
verse 32…> He shall be very great, and he will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord will give him the Throne of his ancestor David
Now Mike do you see in any of this any hint of a Preexistent Jesus being morphed into a human body ?
Notice even the Angel Gaberiel says that “thing” in you shall be called “a future tense expression” , showing no past existence at all. No trinitarian or preexistence has shown any Past activity of Jesus before his berth on this earth as a pure Human Being. Why do you still hang on to those false assumptions and teachings MIke?
peace and love to you and yours……………………………………………………gene

Jammin,I am sure as it is not in the Ancient Greek the manuscripts are actually written in. Some translators may choose to add it but that does not mean it is in Scripture.
This is what Revelation 19:13 actually states.
Revelation 19:13
King James Version (KJV)13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
It does not say Jesus is the Word but rather that Jesus at the time observed is called the Word.
We can replace Word with “the name of which Jesus was later called by” in John 1:1-17 and it does not support your conclusions.

Scripture teaches us Jesus is flesh.

Scripture teaches us God's words are “Spirit”.

Hi Kerwin,I wasn't aware that you pre-answered, or up to which verse you pre-answered.
But as long as we are all still in check, I will continue. (Almost there……….)
John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the only begotten, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. This one should be obvious, since the subject of the sentence is actually CALLED “the Word”, just like it was in verse 1. I'll assume the answer is “YES” from all of you on this verse.
John 1:15
John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’”But how about verse 15? Is the one John testified about STILL the Word from verse 1? YES or NO?
Gene? Kerwin? Wakeup? 2B? Ed?

“The Word” begot other children besides just Jesus.

It seems the rest of us all agree that John is speaking about the same exact subject, “the Word of God”, from verse 1 up until verse 14 (so far, and with the exception of verse 6, which introduces John the Baptist).
Are you also in agreement with the rest of us?
