Berean…..Do you really think God only has “one Son” that simply is not true. Jesus was indeed a uniquely “Begotten” son. I do understand that but , most definitely not God’s “only” son. Many scriptures prove that point. Jesus was the “only” “begotten” Son, that God himself begot, through a physical human being by HIMSELF implanting the DNA, IN THE WOMB OF A HUMAN WOMEN. That was unique, but to say that Jesus is the “only” Son of God , is a completely contradiction scripture . Even Adam is called “the son of GOD.”
If you want to talk about unique, Adam and Eve , were unique , because neither of them come from WOMENS WOMB, now that is also unique to mankind. But as far as a women having a child by the act of her egg being implanting without having sex, with a man , this is done every day now. So that is no unique theses days, but what made it unique was that God himself performed that act, in a women , he took the DNA of King David’s linage and implanted Mary with it, and that produced a 100 % human baby , who he named Jesus, who he Anointed with his Holy Spirit, which made him a Son of God . The exact same way we all must have happen to us also.

LU, Acts 17 tells us that God WILL JUDGE the world IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY the MAN whom God has ordained. Isaiah 11 tells us that the Spirit of YHVH rests upon a MAN where we know that the fruit of that Spirit is in all goodness, RIGHTEOUSNESS and truth. Not by this man’s own eyes and ears does he judge, he judges in the righteousness of the Spirit of YHVH that is upon him. We are also told that this man was raised from the dead receiving from God the promised Holy Spirit where he BECAME the firstfruits of them that slept. We are joint heirs with Christ where we too are promised the Spirit.
NONE of these passages fit with your doctrine, they are against it.
Jesus is not YHVH, he is the son of Jesse, a human who has the Spirit of YHVH dwelling within him. Jesus is the man ordained by YHVH to judge the world, where he is a Son of God according to the very image Paul gives us, one who is LED by the Spirit of YHVH in all ways.

EVERY passage that you THINK teaches Jesus pre-existed is actually supporting the fact that YHVH had declared the END FROM THE BEGINNING, He had declared the son of David to be our savior FROM THE BEGINNING.

Berean……That scripture is another translation error, it should read Jesus did not think to rob God to make himself to be equal with him. I did a research on that scripture years ago. There is a controversy surrounding it. But can you see what you are trying to do? Your taking something that can be taken several different ways and applying it against a whole host of non controversial scriptural scriptures, that Jodi and I quote to you. You use that to muddy the waters of truth, were trying to show you and others. Solid biblical truths, you can’t honestly dismiss them as if they don’t exist can you?
If you want to show us what is wrong about what we are saying them deal with the scriptures quoted and show us where they are wrongly understood by us. Don’t just run off some where and quote something that changes the subject or diverts the subject matter, trying to move the attention away from those scriptural points they produce .

That alone should tell you that Jesus, who had no sin, was not part of the “all men.” Jesus took on the sins of the whole world. If Jesus was just a man and not God’s firstborn over all creation, He would not be credited in several places as actively making all things in heaven and on earth. If Jesus did not have a pre-existence as the literal only son of God and with God his Father in the beginning, He would not be a fit mediator between man and God. He actually is credited as the only one who knows the Father except for those that He shows the Father to. If he were just a man, the Father wouldn’t call Him YHVH who founded the earth, etc. If He was just a man, he would be born with original sin and would have no redeemer who shed their blood for him, no one would. If he were just a man, he wouldn’t be qualified to be the unblemished passover lamb sent into the world. If he were just a man, he wouldn’t be prayed to. If he were just a man, he wouldn’t have existed before Abraham. If he were just a man, he wouldn’t be given all the glory, all the honor, and the dominion with the Father. Is it too great a thing for God to have His very own begotten Son of His own essence? Don’t you think it strange that the early church wrote about the unbegotten God (the Father) and the begotten God (the Son) and worshiped them? DANNY …..Jesus had to be a human being , who was born into this world “exactly” the same way we are , and experience the “exact’ same temptations as we do , in order to qualify, by the help of God’s Holy Spirit which he received after he was baptized at the Jordan River, to not sin.
He was and had to be ‘exactly” like us in “every way” , not just in some ways , as false teachers here say, who are of the ‘many”, THAT GO IN THREAT THEREOF.
Danny, remember what Jesus “himself” said, “wide is the way that leads to destruction, and “MANY” there be that go in threat thereof, “NARROW” is the way that leads to eternal life and “FEW” there be who find it. So the great “deception” will be about who Jesus “really” is. Yes we can honestly say that a the One who was equal to God, laid down His majestic splendor and became man like us in every way that allowed Him to suffer and be tempted and die. That is what the context says in Hebrews 2. Read it here:
5For He did not subject to angels the world to come, about which we are speaking. 6But someone has testified somewhere, saying,
“WHAT IS MAN, THAT YOU THINK OF HIM?
OR A SON OF MAN, THAT YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT HIM?
