But it is rather a fulfilment of the work of God in a man after his baptism in the Spirit

The seed is sown when the Father blesses His children with a share of His Spirit.

Frst the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. Then the harvest.

The resurrection is a revelation of the sons of God to the rest of creation.

The Spirit given does not sleep but sanctifies till the trumpet sounds.

But the effects of his cooperation with that sin linger till he faces the judge.

Having or not having a body has nothing to do with being able to be present (at home) with the Lord. Angels have bodies, Jesus was resurrected and sits at God’s right hand having a body. So clearly what Paul was saying could not possibly be literal.

So those standing there would be born again from above before they died.
