Timothy.
When God created adam flesh, is because satan could not bring that evil out to manifest in heaven because, they are all spirit creatures;they dont get sick or die. All that evil was in his heart. He did a lot of gossiping amongst the angels.
So God created Adam in the flesh;so the evil; that was in his heart can be born;made manifest.(that happened in the garden).
God gave Adam a choice;to listen to him,or disobey him.
But God also has big plans for the flesh;and that plan is to make them as the angels, but first; man has to know what is good and what is evil.God also provides man with the way to get that evil out,and stay clean by own choice. I got this all by putting all the prophecies, and the gospels together;and that is only part of the picture.

Rule #1-Yahweh sets the rules in stone.
Rule#2-The blood of Jesus wipes out the rules of sacrifce, not the other rules. Tither and not fade away.
Rule#3- Paul comes into the picture and tells jesus and god they had it all wrong and makes up a new set of rules. So tell me T, you compare rules of humanity being left to the animals, but then again you cannot tell me which god's rules I should follow, Yahweh, Jesus or Paul's.
November 7, 2012 at 1:48 am#319005journey42ParticipantQuote Hi Wakeup,
And you got all of that from where?
It doesn't coincide with what the bible says. For instance, there is a glaring discrepancy between your bible and your statement
Quote God created man,and he wanted man to know what is good and what is evil. Without knowing what is evil ,man will not know what is good. Then why did he tell Adam not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil which would have given them that knowledge?
God either did not want them to know, or else he did want them to know and merely wanted an excuse to curse them, and every generation after them forever, because he knew what they would do.
Which was it?
Tim
For an example.
I have a dog and I train him to obey me.
I also have a cat.
At feeding times, I feed the cat first.
My dog knows he is not allowed to touch the cats food,
and patiently watches the cat eat , knowing his own meal is coming soon.
I've trained my dog to do this, but first I had to put the temptation in front of him to teach him the rule,
otherwise how else would he know?
but I know, because I am smarter than him.
I know that the strong kill the weak,
I know the animal world, where there is greed, and every dog for himself,I also know that if I am not around, my dog would eat the cats food. Maybe even kill the cat over her food.
He would not be loyal. He would think that I would not find out.
So I would have a backup plan, otherwise I would have to keep punishing my dog, and I don't want to do this.
I will offer him real special treats…rewards for good behaviour. Rewards for obeying.
I will train him even harder now, putting more temptation in front of him, but teaching him to resist,
he will learn, and when he is loyal,
I will give him the best treats he's ever tasted.
To him, nothing has ever tasted so good.
To him, this is all he wants now, those special treats.
He's worked it out, how to get them. He knows how it works,
and he only comes to me now for his food, and for my praise and love, for he knows I am the one that rewards him, and he hangs on to my every word, waiting for the next command, eager to learn a new thing. This to him now becomes more exciting than the treats.
And he loves me, for I am his master. He knows I taught him, and knows I am the only one that can punish him. But I punished him at times, so that he could learn. I punished him to correct him, because I love him,…
if he was given free reign, then he might kill my cat, or run out to the road and get hit by a car. So he needs rules for his own good.but he is only a dog, and thinks like a dog,
we have been given so much more understanding than a dog.November 7, 2012 at 2:43 am#319014terrariccaParticipantQuote (princess @ Nov. 07 2012,05:59) Quote from T.

No Tim. but the spirit can introduce it to someone, just as man are doing it today. This is why we need Gods protection.

Can I ask by what mechanism “the spirit” can introduce mycobacterium leprae to a human?Stuart
stu.How the spirit does it; I dont,know.
What I know is that they can go through walls.
They can go in a person, and release the germs. They can also come when summoned,to give assistance to a medium or clairvoyant, or witchcraft.
They can go inside the brain, and cause some short circuit in the wiring., and the person will not think normalor go crazy.

So the spirits can go through walls, not interacting with the wallboards, but then they can carry bacteria. Interesting.Stuart

I didn't read all your post, but I skimmed the page and this comment stood out, so I decided to answer it for you.He told him to not eat of it because he would die. Notice he didn't stop him from partaking.
The tree represented free will.
It was a way for the man to choose against God and eternal life with God.
If it were not there, then there was no way that the man could choose not God.
God gave man a will to choose because perfect love can only exist where there is choice. If there is no choice there is no love because to love with no alternative is not love.
If your wife loved you because she had no alternative, then that is not perfect love. Because man was destined to be like the angels and to be sons of God, God had to give us free will. A huge risk, but a huge reward too.
The risk with wanting perfect love is that the other party says no. Essentially this is what man has chosen. But not all choose this way. God made a way for us to get back to him. And many choose God, but not all.

It's not really free will then, is it. You would think free will involves being able to take any of the options available and having the Imaginary Space Being accept you for your human choices, good or not so good as they may be.But, with Jesus the whole thing is turned from a simple case of the struggles and joys of human existence to a matter of terror in fear of hellfire and destruction. Of course you can always accept the abomination of an option which is the judicial execution of a human as a scapegoat for your wrongdoing. I prefer to take responsibility for my errors myself.
On the tiniest of off-chance that this moronic nonsense is actually real, I choose the permanent destruction option. That is what I was hoping for anyway. I can cope with the smell of sulfur and the whining sound of a god dispensing its immoral “justice”.

Hi wakeup,You still did not answer the question.
You said that God wanted man to know the difference between good and evil.
If God wanted man to know the difference between good and evil,
if that was his earnest desire,
then why did he deny them the only source that he had provided for gaining that knowledge. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil.He either wanted them to know the difference or he didn't.
You, Journey and T8 skip over that simple question and go off on some other tangent.

timsimple question ;we all have to die some time ,some were ,some how,
so what is the big beef ,God and christ ask you ;in stead of dying for nothing at all ,if you die by listen to God your creator and to his son ,and follow and learn to love him for all the things he did and will do ,IN RETURN HE GIVES YOU ETERNAL LIFE ;
what is there that you do not understand ,???
you make your pick ,you refuse,I on the other hand I pick up that gift.
so you are happy because you did not wasted your time on God and his promise ;
and so I am happy because now I have a good reason to become like Christ who did love his father and I will as well love my creator in hope to renew my live into his kingdom .
SO YOU SEE IN TIME ONLY TWO POSSIBILITIES ; 1) you are right their his no God but I still better off because I lived a better live around me ,
2) I was right God does exist and you have rejected him and now you have to pay the penalty ?? of your decision ,on the other hand I feel vindicated and so walk in the kingdom of his son ,and do not pay for what I have done wrong before .because I have changed my life course wen it was the time to do it .
