Although Joseph was not the biological father of Jesus, he was Jesus’ legal father. In Jewish culture, legal paternity established family lineage and inheritance rights. He also had a biological descent through Mary, who may also have been a descendant of David. So that is a legal and a possible biological descent.
You may to check a…[Read more]

People have claimed to raise the dead. I saw a demon with my own eyes one time and was able to deliver my brother. The only reason greater works are even possible is because we stand on the shoulders of giants.
Also, much of what future generations have achieved is possible because Jesus is with the Father and he intercedes for us. We…DesireTruth replied to the topic One God and One Lord in the forum Bible Texts & Translations 1 month, 3 weeks ago
If you love God and your fellow man, then you will do the will of God because you love and that means God and all that he has made.
If “love” is all I need to do the “will of G-d” then why do I need the Jesus. Why would I need to listen to a word the Jesus spoke? Are the 613 commands given by G-d insufficient? What did the Jesus s…[Read more]

Isa 7:14 “For this reason the sovereign master himself will give you a confirming sign. Look, this young woman is about to conceive and will give birth to a son. You, young woman, will name him Immanuel.”
Please read the entire chapter of Isaiah 7 and tell me it’s about a coming “messiah.” If by one singular verse you can make the…[Read more]

Unfortunately the Jesus fails on being a member of the tribe of Judah; biologically he isn’t connected to the line of David because the spirit is the one who fathered him (Luke 1:26-35, Matt 1:18). It is of the seed of David the Messiah is to be born of (2 Sam 7:12-17, I Chron 11-14). Lineage is associated with the father and not t…

In fact, the Jesus tells us in John 14:12
12 Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
Yet, these who are doing these “greater works”, the Jesus says he doesn’t know. By the way, when was the last time you raised someone from t…

Not the verse I was referencing I was speaking on Matt 7:21-23 where the Jesus is speaking.
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, a…

Genesis 1:14
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.
Your take on this is not a contradiction of the text, but it doesn’t add up with the rest of the text and with science.
You can equally read it in a way that does…[Read more]

It’s not the geographical setting that matters here, but rather 👉the interpretation of a symbol
In the Hebrew Bible the term “the Great Sea” was a common name for the Mediterranean. For example, in Numbers 34:6, Joshua 1:4, and Ezekiel 47:10, the same phrase clearly refers to the Mediterranean coastline west of Israel. So geographically, the p…[Read more]

Still love bashing the Catholics from one side your mouth and from the other say how much you love them. How can you “love” someone when you continually bash them; you “love” someone by building them up, not continually tear them down. We call that double speak; let your yes be yes, and your no be no – pick a side.

The narrow gate= Jesus’ religion= Love amongst themselves displayed in front of all creation= Would never be mislead ( 1John 3:10-12) to stand on both sides of the wars of hatred, blowing each others heads off. The other true mark=1Cor 1:10= Unity of though( all of Gods truth) no division= 1 single religion. These are no part of this world, thus…[Read more]

So much wrong with what you wrote.
If Eve hadn’t eaten from the “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil” and have lived forever in perfection, in constant righteousness before G-d, how would they have know how to truly worship G-d? How could they have truly know how to love G-d? Can you truly love someone who provides your every need or…[Read more]

God created mortals to know only good, to live forever if they did not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and bad. That is Gods will for mortal man. Eve chose to listen to a liar who did 0 for them, God handed them life everlasting free of charge if they didn’t eat of that tree. They kicked God in the teeth by that rebellion.

Jesus teaches that FEW will be saved. He as well shows the percentage basically at Luke 17:26–He says these last days( now) will be the same as Noah’s day.
In Noah’s day-the conservative estimate is millions were alive on the Earth at that point-8 humans survived the flood( were saved)
Thus 99.9% are being mislead to destruction– 8 humans…[Read more]
