Mike: You say that earth and heaven (including the sun, moon, and stars) were created by the end of Gen 1:1.
Proclaimer: It says that God created the heavens and earth and these things are part of the heavens. So that is what the text says.
Actually, it says “heaven”, not “heavens”. Secondly, you assume – for no valid reason – that the c…[Read more]

Hilarious Danny. This really challenged you and made you doubt?
Planes fly by altitude and air pressure. So yes, if the plane follows that, then you it can fly around a globe. And on the flat earth, if you travel west say from Australia to South America, then the pilot has to constantly adjust the plane to the right or left, otherwise they will…[Read more]

As for the rest of your post, I will not address as it would take too long. But I am happy to address two points from it that you choose.

This idea of “the ends of the earth” is mentioned in the Bible, which says in Daniel 4:10-11: “These are the visions I saw while lying in bed: I looked, and there before me stood a tree in the middle of the land. Its height was enormous. The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth.” On a rou…

Now for my next MUST ANSWER question:
SINCE IT IS ABUNDANTLY CLEAR AND NOW ACKNOWLEDGED BY YOU THAT MY ANALOGY MICAH PROPHECY IS TALKING ABOUT LITERAL DAYS, IS THERE ANY SCRIPTURE THAT MAKES IT UNDENIABLY CLEAR THAT WHEN GOD USED THE SAME KIND OF LANGUAGE IN GENESIS 1 (NUMERICAL VALUES AND EVENING/MORNING ATTRIBUTED TO THE DAYS), AND THAT WHEN GOD…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 3 years, 9 months ago
Another Bible passage which is interpreted in a similar way is the one in Matthew 4, in which Jesus, tempted by the Devil in the desert, is at some point brought to “a very high mountain” where the Devil showed Him “all the kingdoms of the world”.
gadam, a quick glance in your post show much regurgitated content that has been debunked in this top…[Read more]

How does the sun in the flat earth manage to illuminate the Earth in this way during the December solstice? Does the light bend around the areas that have night to the other side?

15) If the Earth were truly a sphere 25,000 miles in circumference, airplane pilots would have to constantly correct their altitudes downwards so as to not fly straight off into “outer space;” a pilot wishing to simply maintain their altitude at a typical cruising speed of 500 mph, would have to constantly dip their nose downwards and descend 2,7…[Read more]

Hi Mike,
The article “200 Proofs Earth is Not a Spinning Ball”
has many great arguments.
What I’m going to say is hard for me but I will say it anyway:
At this time, I’m no longer convinced that our earth is a globe!
Argument 15 got me thinking.
I will share this argument in the following post.Danny Dabbs changed their profile picture 3 years, 9 months ago

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT FLAT EARTH THEORIES ?
Against the background of declining confidence in the elites—be they political, religious or scientific—the flat earth theory has lately been revived and promoted by a wave of fake news and misinformation that circulates on social media. Unfortunately, it has been noted that many Christians have b…[Read more]

Flat Earth Motors
This hodgepodge of cars looks like Mater off the kids movie cars. It reminds me of Flat Earth theory which is a hodgepodge of theories that when combined are worse than this Mater looking car. At least this car might work as ugly as it looks.

JESUS IS AN EXAMPLE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
And Jesus grew in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and with men. (Luke 2.52)
By observing the sacrificial offerings in the temple, Christ learned by the Holy Spirit that his life would be sacrificed for the life of mankind. Since his early years, he had…[Read more]

LU: Every use of the word “born” was applied to someone/something that existed in some manner beforehand for a period of time. Your son existed long before he was born, for instance.
Okay, I’ll concede for argument’s sake that living things “exist” before they are passed through the birth canal or whatever. But you’ll have to concede that every…[Read more]

Mike: If it was a matter of just that ONE “possessed/created” word, you might have a valid argument. But that word is immediately followed up by three other words from Jesus himself that DEMAND a meaning of “created” for the first word.
LU: Really??? I was given birth, when there were no springs overflowing with water; before the mountains w…

LU: Jesus is the only begotten son, begotten before the ages, before the first works of old, i.e. before creation.
How do you know that? You’re the one that told me “begotten” referred to Jesus being begotten from the dead.
LU: God said “today I have begotten you” in Heb 1. That refers to the begetting from the dead.
See? Which scriptural instan…[Read more]

Mike: KATHI, DOES YOUR GOD AND CREATOR HAVE A SON NAMED JESUS OR NOT?
LU: The Father and the Son are the creator. The Father has a son named Jesus. The Father together with His Son are the creator. They are my God.
So then your DIRECT answer is “NO”. Is that correct? Now consider that the two most well-known verses in the Bible are Gen 1:1…[Read more]

LU: That was satan’s claim, he was lying.
And Jesus – who openly called Satan the prince of this world – was unaware that Satan was lying? Because his response to Satan certainly wasn’t, “What are you talking about? You don’t have authority or possession of any of these kingdoms.”
