It is a plea to God for a clean conscience as 1 Peter 3 tells us.

The question is about swear words themselves. Are they corrupt no matter what you are saying.

For example, I could communicate in a corrupt way without swear words. So can I edify if I use a swear word or does my speech automatically become corrupt because of the usage of some words?
