    Nick this is your quote.

“What I mean by that is when he was born, he was rightly recognised as the Christ and the son of God. He was further recognised at John’s baptism. These were all signs that he was and is the Christ. Recognising this does not mean denial of other things. So please do not go down the road that Nick has with me. Spe…

No Nick that is your invention or take on my view. The Spirit came upon him at the Jordan and Jesus was the Christ at birth. God made him Lord and Christ and he was born Lord and Christ. So he was sent into the world to do that which God made him to be. What came first, the a prophecy uttered by a prophet or the prophet?

I wonder if you could do me a favour Nick. Can we let this topic be about Isaiah 41:18? That is what was intended, but we ended up conversing on a subject that spanned over 5 or more topics. I am trying to tidy up a bit and would prefer what we are talking about be continued in the ‘Is Jesus the Logos’ topic or other relevant topic.

    Thanks in advance.

Nick, the Christ was born. God made him both Lord and Christ and the angel declared he was born as such. What comes first, a prophecy uttered by a prophet or the prophet.

Jesus Christ was sent into the world to save sinners. He was born the Christ and acknowledged as the Christ. Also the savior as you say as well as the King of the Jews and the…[Read more]

No you do not need to prove it to me. Do I need to prove to you that I have never denied this or said anything that denies this? I have just given scripture, if that appears to you to deny it, then you need to find the truth in how all these scriptures paint the truth together. Just pray about it. God is good.

Can I ask that we leave this topic…[Read more]

Jesus was made both Lord and Christ. He was born those things and sent into the world to do what those things require. What came first, the utterance of prophecy from a prophet or the prophet?

But who is saying that Nick? You are saying that, not me. Even though you accuse me of saying it. I have never said such a thing.

Jesus was born the Christ, the King of the Jews, the Lord, and savior because God made him those things. He was then sent into the world to do that which he already was.

God sent prophets into the world to prophecy.…[Read more]

Kerwin, perhaps you are not up to speed with what is being debated. We are not debating any denial from myself that Jesus was baptised at the Jordan and the Spirit descended on him, but Nick and others including yourself (I think) that say Jesus was not born the Christ, the son of God, and the King of Israel.

If you are debating that I deny the…[Read more]

Nick, I think we can move on from here now that you admit that Jesus was the Christ when he was born.

Curious though, do you understand that one can be appointed a saviour and then actively save. Thus one can be born the Christ, the Lord, the King of the Jews, and do things as these titles describe. A saviour can be sent to save, the Lord can be…[Read more]

Definitely not confused guys. Jesus was born the Christ and the Lord. You can’t change that. It already happened. You can only change yourself and your views.

Nick, rather than accuse me of denying the Spirit coming down upon Jesus which I have never done anyway, please concentrate on your denial that he was born the Christ, the Lord, and the saviour.

When you have things that need to be sorted out, you can sort them out, or you can ignore that need and spend your time accusing others of the very thing…[Read more]
