Hi T8,
So you consider then that it may have been because of Jesus
(yet future) death on the cross that God created
all things through him? That would be grasping at straws.
John goes to great length to tell us about the Word that was with God in the beginning. That word became flesh and this is Jesus. We know that God created through his Word…[Read more]

Hi t8,
So do you ascribe these words of Jesus Christ to the Spirit of God in him;
‘Before Abraham was I am’
?
Jesus was clearly talking about himself here.
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

EdJ, the one who God made all things through is not the one who made all things.

Why is it that Isaiah and Job are quoted as if it is common knowledge that God gave them the words
yet when it comes to the great Prophet, the Son of God, the words are attributed, not to God but to the speaker?
Why is it that you even think this. More error. Next.

So the conclusion is what Nick? That you are right and others wrong. That you are born from above and encourage others here because they are not. You are love??? Just tell us in plain English what the heart of your message is and why you post like you do and discourage others. Can you explain it in one paragraph? I’m Curios.
And tell us about…[Read more]

Hi t8,
Did Jesus say
“Before Abraham I am.”
YES
he said it and
NO
The Spirit spoke through him.
Yes and no? You are in two minds about it.
There is no contradiction in truth. Contradiction come from a person’s own understanding.
Scripture is true. If it is written, then it is true. Regardless of what you make of it.

So keen to toast the bottoms of those who fail your literal tests?
Is that how love works?
Yes Nick. A person who loves the truth wants others to be honest and answer questions about their teachings.
Those that love the Truth will love truth.

Sorry, only God is to be worshipped….Father AND Son.
So God the Father and God the Son are worhipped as well as the Lamb of God who is Jesus Christ.
So the son gets worhipped twice as much as God the Father?
Again, I wield scripture to correct error. Please no shooting the messenger as some do here.
yet for us there is but one God, the Fat…[Read more]

I have also witnessed almost everyone avoid questions…
Good kerwin. You can put them on the Hot Seat if you need an answer.
Just remember that most do not answer all questions due to time.
But you can get answers to questions you need in order to frame your responses to others. If you do not, then perhaps the question was not that important to…[Read more]

Yes both are worshipped in Heaven. One is worshipped/honoured as God and the other as the Lamb.
Revelation 5:13-14
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Me too. It is always comforting coming home. I remember living in South America for 18 months. When I arrive in New Zealand, I unconsciously lowered my head so that when I came out into the terminal, I would not make eye contact with hawkers etc. Then I realised I was in NZ and didn’t have to do that. I lifted my head and no one hassled me. A nice…[Read more]

God is Spirit.
The LORD is the spirit.

There was never a time when God the Father was alone….
Can you prove that in scripture.
I imagine that God is content with himself, being perfect and lacking nothing. But that doesn’t stop him from creating others from himself in order to see even himself through their eyes and to love them as his children.

From the vantage point of literalism can you ever see your errors?
The scriptures I quote are not errors Nick. It is these scriptures that you are having a hard time with.
When I quote them, you and Kerwin say I am wrong.
Then you make out I say things that are not true. Bearing false witness?
What’s up with that?

Was listening to this interesting presentation about the Pre-flood world and how it matches the gigantism we see in the fossil record and other information.
Heaven Net mentioned here
While listening to it, I noticed he mentioned ‘Heaven Net’ in the context of the Book of Enoch.- Load More
