Well, t8, as I just said in my previous post here, I am not interested in making Trinitarian distinctions just to comply with tradition. However, I do have in mind several formulations that I feel do real justice to the Trinity, which I have shared above.
Why do you feel the need to do this? The Trinity is not mentioned in scripture or taught.…[Read more]

My dad explains God (Father Son and Holy Spirit) as similar to an Irish Shamrock.
It is in the nature of man to create and formulate his own gods. But God reveals himself to his people. If people do not know God, then they need to strive to have fellowship with him.

God is the lawgiver. The physical universe is governed by laws. But laws come from an intellect or mind. They are not tangible or created. Yes the universe is perhaps created and governed by laws, but God spoke those laws into being. He commanded creation to come into existence. The physical universe has no bearing on God himself. He exists…[Read more]

There is a movement today as evident in the amount of videos about it that proclaims that Hitler was the good guy in WWII and the Allies were the bad guys. The argument basically says that Hitler turned Germany’s economy around because he cut off ties with the Zionist Rothschilds and their money. Supposedly WWII was really Hitler vs the R…[Read more]

This teacher’s opinion is that the sons of God in scripture are not angels. And by reason of that, neither did angels have relations with women and produce giants on the earth. What do you think?
Only sensible truth seekers please. Argumentative fools, please do not participate in this discussion.

Gene, I believe this. So believing this angel makes me an Antichrist?
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Clearly he was the savior, the messiah, and the Lord.
Amen!
The Antichrist is the one who denies that this Jesus in the manger was the Christ.

Okay I checked it out here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountains_of_Ararat
The “Mountains of Ararat” in Genesis clearly refer to a general region, not a specific mountain. Biblical Ararat corresponds to Ancient Assyrian Urartu (and Old Persian Armina) the name of the kingdom which at the time controlled the Lake Van region.
The Book of…[Read more]

I have to check this out, but it supposedly doesn’t say Mt Ararat, but the mountains of Ararat, i.e;, a range/area/location. Not a specific mountain.

Jeremiah was born a prophet to the nations(Jeremiah 1:5) and I was not so was Jeremiah a ordinary man?
Jeremiah would have sinned like all men. But Jesus was the second Adam. There was a time when the first Adam had not sinned, but Jeremiah was the natural offspring of Adam as you are I are/were. It puts being born-again in perspective.

Scripture teaches us that all believers that are proved true have ancient origins.
I will admit it is possible that we may have lived before and came to Earth. But there is no real proof that this is true, albeit a few verses that could be taken that way. So would not rule it out because it doesn’t say we didn’t exist in another form before coming…[Read more]

Hi t8,
So the term does not relate to the birth of Jesus either.
So what does it mean?
What term? “Jesus came in the flesh”?
6 who, though he was in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God
as something to be exploited,
7 but emptied himself,
taking the form of a slave,
being born in human LIKENESS…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic The Trinity Doctrine is an unnecessary stumbling block in the forum Truth or Tradition 10 years, 2 months ago
I don’t necessarily believe heresy is bad because heresy is simply a term to define what is error according to who is in power. But I established that you do not believe in the Trinity.
