Playing around with weak logic adds nothing to the truth of God.
What about strong logic?

Like Paul Jesus uses all possible means to reach out to the lost.
But he did not do it to glorify the ways of men.
Is this the vessel you speak of? So he is more than a vessel now?

Hi,
Those who rely on logic and are not aware of the work of the Spirit will never grasp the prophetic word.
The Trinity Doctrine is not logical. So could be of this spirit you talk of?
And your view of Jesus not being born the Christ is like saying that Jesus is God. Neither makes any sense and is not found in scripture.
And I don’t want to…[Read more]

Hi,

So being illogical is the answer? The Spirit is not logical? No wonder then you do not believe this simple truth about the messiah.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
The logical way to…[Read more]

Hi Andrew,
The Spirit was before Abraham.
Nick you do not appear to have much trust in Jesus. You give him no credit.
Is he to you but a mere vessel?

Please answer EdJ’s question Gene.
Proclaimer replied to the topic Was Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem or born at the Jordan? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 9 years, 10 months ago
Good one Ed J.
I will continue with Gene’s logic.
A fireman is not one till he puts out his first fire.
On his first day he is just called a man. If there is no fire the next day, he is still a man. If there has been no fire for 3 months he is still a man.
When a fire occurs and he puts the fire out, he becomes a fireman.Proclaimer replied to the topic Was Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem or born at the Jordan? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 9 years, 10 months ago

Hi,
Phil 2 is not speaking of the man Jesus but the Spirit of Christ.
The Spirit of God acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the s…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Phil 2:1-11 In the Form of God, how and when? in the forum Truth or Tradition 9 years, 10 months ago

Why are you repeating words that are not in Philippians 2:1-11 as if they were. You have no argument because of it.
Reality check for kerwin.
When I quote scripture, it is in red unless I forgot. Often it is accompanied by the book and verse number too.
Now many ask what I believe and I type a couple of paragraphs that include Philippians…[Read more]

If there is no free will, then you agree that homosexuals have no choice but to be homosexual because it is not chosen but given.

t8,
Can a fish choose to breath air or a human vacuum?
You misunderstand free-will if you think it means that we should be able to do that.
Perhaps research what it means, then make an intelligent reply after that.

Gene, I don’t have to read your post. If you say we are not free to choose among the options, then you have to write off half the Bible. I am not about to do that. So no point in listening to your wisdom if it denies the most basic of truths in scripture that we can choose this day whom we will serve. Seriously, too many here basically teach men…[Read more]

Yes, I believe you are right Jael.
We can have both the Father’s spirit and the spirit of the son within us.
that all of them may be one,
as You, Father, are in Me,
and I am in You.
May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
