But you said that Jesus wasn’t the truth.
I am a man, yet my human nature came from Adam. So while I am not the source, I can still be a man.
God is the source of all good. While understanding that, Jesus is still the truth because he said it himself.
If he is not the truth, then I guess he also lied when he said he was the truth. I do not…[Read more]

Not in scripture I agree. We are told to pray for our leaders. I guess that means we should care at least a little.
-1 Timothy 2:1-3
“1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic The throne of Satan through history in the forum View Points 9 years, 7 months ago
A throne from my understanding is an actual set of power. Does Jesus have a literal throne that he sits on?
I am guessing that the god of this world has one too, why wouldn’t he. But it is possible that he stands up all the time and directs his adherents without ever sitting down on a throne. However, Revelation says that his throne was in…[Read more]

Trump is down in the polls due to things he has said, but Clinton is up despite the things she has done.
However, more dirt will likely be revealed about Clinton that could hurt her chances.
If Trump were really called by God to lead America, then something drastic would need to happen for Clinton to lose her lead.

If he is the god of this age, then he could well have a throne. And we read about that throne in Revelation.
Allegories are not meant to say or imply the opposite Terraricca.

So because it was addressed to the Watchers it then negates the words ‘that the living may know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever He will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.’ ?
Why does something not become true because of who it is being told to?
We are talking about scripture here remember.

remember that I mention TRUE HISTORY as something good to know
Where?
And the word ‘history’ includes true history right?
God wants us to learn in every way that is presented to us. Jesus learned obedience by coming into this world. Life has many lessons to teach us. History is part of life. It is what happened in the past. If scripture was the…[Read more]

Every verse from the Scripture that you quote, I believe as it is, no condition.
I know this is not true. I will test that statement now starting with this question.
Did the only true God send Jesus into the world?
Yes or No?

T8,
Hmmm… now I see that you resort to saying that “theos” applies to many things… I guess you are wrong. The term “el” or “elohim” do, but “theos” apply only to God. That’s what I know.
The word ‘Theos’ is used when referring to the Father
Ephesians 1:3 (English-NIV)
Praise be to the God (theos) and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has ble…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic When you can't sleep at night in the forum View Points 9 years, 7 months ago
So he is the way, but not the life?
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me“.

When you can’t sleep at night,
have you ever thought
maybe it’s God saying:
“We need to talk and
you now have time”.

If you were only allowed one answer as to who the Most High God is, then most Believers even Trinitarians would answer the Father. Adding in the son as God himself is uncalled for and foolish. There is nothing in scripture that requires this of men.

Good advice from Nick and shows a caring spirit. A pity that he ended up accusing everyone most of the time. I hope his break away from this site helps him gain back what he once had, perhaps even more than he once had.

The Father is the one true God.
Jesus is the son of that God who made him both Lord and Christ.
We are made in the image of God.
This is the truth that scripture teaches.

So in short, when asked these questions, here are where we differ:
Do you believe that Jesus is distinct from the Father? We: Yes. You: Yes
Do you believe that Jesus is the same as the Father? We: Yes (Jesus said, John 10:30 “I and My Father are one.”) You: No.
Do you believe that Jesus has all the power of God? We: Yes. You: Yes.
Do you bel…- Load More
